Entering into the last game of the first half of the season half the league has a winning record, all of them playoff teams from last year. Kalamazoo faces Benton Harbor in a matchup that was a total mismatch. Wisconsin was taken down by Timbuktu. Rhode Island continued their hot streak by taking out the Fudgepackers. Seattle entered the second half in full control of first place when they won against the Rocko Bengals.
After stopping the seamingly unstoppable Seattle team, Rhode Island continued their hot streak by pushing Rocko farther away from playoff contention in one of the games in week 6. In other games, Kalamazoo showed Timbuktu that not updating your roster is painful when playing anyone other than Benton Harbor. Speaking of Benton Harbor, the Hoodlems were not able to handle the first place Seattle team. Wisconsin and Green Bay faced off in a battle of Packer lovers with the Wannabes coming out on top.
Week 5 - Seattle's undefeated rampage against the league is finally over after facing Rhode Island. The game came down to Monday night until TE Alexander was carted off the field not returning to play, securing a 100-94 win for Rhode Island. Kalamazoo continued to rise by displacing the Green Bay Fudgepackers. Rocko planed to drop Wisconsin down to her level but wasn't able to meet the firepower of the Favre lead Wannabes. Timbuktu defeated Benton Harbor in the other matchup to leave the Hoodlems perfect losers at 0-5.
Week 4 pitted the top teams against each other. Undefeated Seattle stayed that way against Wisconsin. Green Bay continued the strive for their first playoff spot by continuing their winning ways against Timbuktu. The bottom of the league shrunk as two teams were able to rise to .500. Kalamazoo rebounded after two straight losses when they matched up against the Rocko Bengals. Rhode Island sent out their "welcome to the league" when met up with Benton Harbor for the first time.
Week 3 was the big matchup weekend! This week featured matchups of last year's playoff teams. In the big game, still undefeated Seattle took revenge for last year's loss to Kalamazoo in the Puck Bowl. Wisconsin showed Rhode Island that they have improved from last year's playoffs. The Rocko Bengals dropped the game to Timbuktu this week. Benton Harbor is still looking for their first win after losing to the Green Bay Fudgepackers.
Week 2 was to be a week of interesting matchups as Kalamazoo lost to Rhode Island in the first of two Marriage Bowls this year. Wisconsin made their introduction to Benton Harbor in a matchup that is just unfair! The Fudgepackers had another good week when they faced the Super-Child controlled Rocko Bengals. Seattle also continued their winning against Timbuktu in the battle of unbeatens.
Week 1 has come and gone and one thing is for certain: Thank goodness football is back! Week 1 gave us a few surprises and a little of the same ol' same ol'. Green Bay gave us a surprising close contest with Puck Bowl II participate Seattle who edged them out 111-108. In a trend that is starting to become the biggest rivalry in our leage, Rhode Island continued their winless streak against Timbuktu.
In other games, Rocko continues their drive to dominance by disposing of the expansion Benton Harbor Hoodlems. Also, Kalamazoo was able to hold off a last day surge by a playoff team from last year, Wisconsin
