News League Leaders History Drafts Rules Home Msg. Board

At Midseason, Seattle In the Lead.

After Week 7, the top of the league looks very familiar. The top four spots are held by the same teams that made the playoffs last year, with Seattle(6-1)leading the pack. Kalamazoo(5-2) started out slow again this year, but has managed to rebound and looks poised to make the playoffs for the third straight year despite the many injuries. Rhode Island(5-2) started out slowly also, but now is riding a red hot streak that wouldn't stop even when matched up with the then undefeated Seattle team when the Ridicule handed them their only loss. Despite having the first half MVP (Rod Smith WR-Den), Wisconsin(4-3) finds themselves in fourth place after recently losing to Timbuktu(4-3). The Buccaneers have shown again this year that you don't have to have a high scoring fantasy team to have a winning record. Green Bay(3-4) looked to be on their way to a playoff spot this year, but with three straight losses that goal is going to be harder to accomplish. After having an excellent year last year Rocko(1-6) seems to be running into bad luck where scheduling is concerned. The Bengals have the fifth highest point totals this year (612), but has only managed to be able to taste victory in week 1. Benton Harbor(0-7) is the expansion team this year, and their goal of being the only 0-14 team in league history is still on track.
