Rocko Bengals

(Rockingham, NH) And a little child shall lead them. Isaiah 11:6. While it didnt quite live up to the Greatest Story Ever Told, the Rocko Bengals almost pulled off the impossible with a trip to the Puck Bowl in 2002. While Willas team was no match for the Rhode Island Ridicule, last years championship game proved that anyone can contend for the title on any given day.

The Bengals have been quite active in camp this summer, but all plans may be derailed as the teams owner also has to prepare for the start of school. Willa, who believes in sound minds just as much as sound bodies, has her players on a strict regiment of fractions, decimals, and the occasional theorem. Nevertheless, some of the players are beginning to like it.

Willa took us all to the mall last week, QB Donovan McNabb told reporters. I got a sweet new Trapper Keeper which will go great with my Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox.
WR Torry Holt, the Rocko MVP during last years Puck Bowl, was seen sporting a new Power Rangers backpack, which he says is where he keeps all of the Bengals plays for 2003.

The truth is, Rocko is out to prove that last years trip to the Big One was not a fluke. The Bengals have talent and depth at all of the key positions. If everyones healthy, this year could be a repeat voyage. The defense is still a question mark, however, as some key personnel left the Bengals in the offseason.

The only other problem remains at runningback. While Corey Dillon, Antowain Smith, and Garrison Hearst are expected to carry most of the load, Duce Staley has been a no-show at camp. Willa believes the multiplication tables may have been too hard for him.
