EC-402 TV ENGINEERING (B.Tech 8th Semester, 2122) Time : 3 Hours Maximum Marks : 60 NOTE:- This paper consist of Three Sections. Section A is compulsory. (j) Explain how sync. pulses are generated in a horizontal diffelection circuit. Section-B Marks:5 Each 2. What is a flicker? How it is reduced in 625 line TV System ? 3. Differentiate negative modulation from positive modulation. 4. Draw and explain cross section view of image orthicon camera tube . 5. What is horizontal resolution ? Derive expression for highest modulating frequency in TV Systems. 6. With the help of a diagram explain channe bandwidth requirements for 625 line TV System. Section-C Marks : 10 Each 7. What is high frequency compensation ? Discuss various teqniques for high frequency compensation. 8. Draw block diagram of a monochrome TV Reciever and explain each section. 9.
