Kindred of the Wild Animal Sanctuary
KINDRED OF THE WILD is a non-euthanasia facility, dedicated to healing and permanently housing those animals that have been psychologically and physically abused by humanity; it also provides a wildlife refuge for the deer, fox, rabbits, wild turkeys, raptors, and other animals indigenous to the area, and a year-round feeding station provides food for numerous songbirds.

Updates
The founder and president of the non-profit Sanctuary, which is located in Zionsville, North Carolina, is Celeste von Mangan.  Celeste is also actively working to ban euthanasia for population control of animals, as founder of the movement F.R.E.E. (Fighters Riding to End Euthanasia).
Happy Endings
Celeste is currently working with me with one of my own cats, Cookie, who has some health problems.  She has developed a treatment plan which includes medicines and diet specific to Cookie's individual makeup.

News
Celeste has done a phenomenal amount of work for animals.  In the past decade, she has had success in treating a number of incurable diseases and degenerative processes in animals, including Feline Leukemia, Feline Infectious Peritonitis, Feline Distemper, Canine Parvo Virus, Feline Aids, Cardiomyopathies, Pulmonary Emphysema in the equine, hip dysplasia and corneal ulcers. Therapies include orthomolecular nutrition, acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy and what she calls Energy Exchange Breathing.

It is amazing to me that any one person could do so much for our animals.

About Us
Contact Us
At this time, the Sanctuary houses over 100 sick and/or abused or injured animals.  I ask you to help the animals by sponsoring one of them:

$16 a month for a cat or kitten
$20 per month for a dog, pony or horse

We all know that the cost of caring for one of these babies is quite a bit higher than that, but this amount will greatly help.

Or if you do not wish to be a sponsor, but would like to make a cash donation or a donation of animal food or supplies, that is very much needed as well.
All donations and sponsorship fees are tax-deductible.

Please email or call the Sanctuary if you are able to help.
If you can donate food/supplies, they will let you know what that need and use. For sponsors, the info they need from you is your name, address, phone number and amount per month you wish to commit to. All sponsors will automatically receive their quarterly newsletter, ANIMALINK.
