CONSTRUCTING A CALL LESSON



Our lesson on December 6th will have the following components:
 
Israeli English Curriculum -
Domains and Benchmarks
Technology
Task for teachers
Tasks for students

Presentation - react to the content of something read; express ideas and opinions 
PowerPoint - more features More advanced aspects of PowerPoint  for lesson plan prediction exercise Prediction exercise to introduce a lesson made by the teacher**

Access to Information - extract and integrate information from different sources for a specific purpose
Internet - online activities View and evaluate a variety of online activities from the AMALNET English Global Village for use in class Using online  activities from the AMALNET English Global Village in class
Social Interaction - intereact for purposes such as agreeing and disagreeing; engage in longer conversations email - opening attachments and "reply all" Further work with email to teach  writing by going 
into hotmail, reading an assignment Gail sent. Then open an attachment and replying to all participants with a response.
Work with email to improve writing

** Teachers in this course will present ideas used in their classes. More time will be given to work on the lesson plan for use in your class at school. You may want to consult the following:

Frida has created a document with a variety of ideas for your lesson plans.
We have also put the lesson plan template online.
Advanced students should be working in HTML, not in WORD!
