In line with assisting The New Filipino School management to form a basketball team for the school, the PTC officers were able to get the services of a very good basketball player in the name of Gary Hernandez.

Mr. Hernandez carries with him various awards in basketball, bagged several championship games in the all Filipino basketball tournaments all over U.A.E.  He was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) several times and even coached a team previously and won the championship.  

He is at present connected with Dubai Ports Authority (DPA) in Jebel Ali Free Zone.  He is one of the players of DPA and at the same time coached the team whenever there are tournaments.

Let us all welcome and thanked Mr. Hernandez for offering his knowledge and train our children to develop their skills in this sports.  

Who knows, maybe one of these children will become a professional basketball player someday, thus pride of the school.
