So, we're a team of TCG players who came together at a place called Rainy Day Games: Our home away from home. I suppose we're probably the most broad team of players in Oregon due to variety of games...
We started up sometime in 2004, when 4 Yu-Gi-Oh players decided to come together and build a team, to start real competitive playing. Since then, We've had 2 people in our history make top 8's, with one getting the invite. Not too good, but we're only getting started...
Since then, we've added more games to our repertoire. Throw in Duel Masters, Magic the Gathering, Inuyasha, Pokemon, Universal Fighting System, along with a few new games to come along like The Spoils and Dreamblade, and you have one set of well-rounded players in it to have one hell of a time.
The name started up when Jesus started saying "Ya Like That?" whenever he beat Justin, a dude that pretty much lives to knock people like us down. Yea, it sounds like kind of a dick thing to do, but if only you could imagine the reactions Justin gives off, you'd know why we do it. Funny as Hell doesn't even touch the surface...
Day came when we had to pick our name, so we had to start up with something. He went, how about "Ya Like That?" so it's like a catchphrase? And the name started. Let's see how long it lasts.
So that's our deal. We're small in numbers for now, but we can only go up from here. Hey, you want in and you live somewhere nearby? Emails at the bottom. You don't want in? Well, we can hit you in the face...or the nuts...your choice...
