This... this my friends is my Palm IIIe.
A long time ago I used this device to keep a handle on my life. Like any owner of a PDA device I had all my contacts, finances, e-mail, and all the rest of the bullshit that is forced upon me, neatly organized. My life WAS organized until my Palm IIIe took a nasty Kamikaze plunge down two flights of stairs.
While my Palm would turn on when I pushed the power button it turned out that the LCD was fucked. Here's the kicker. When I called Palm to get a replacement I was then told that accidental destructions of your Palm devices are not covered under warranty. I was then told that I could have my Palm IIIe fixed for the nice charge of one hundred bucks. Do you know what I think about this policy?
