Let's get serious for a moment here. What kind of bullshit is Palm's policy on accidental Palm destructions? I, at one time, worked for a retail computer supply store and I personally witnessed customers drop and destroy hard disk drives, CD-ROMs, and entire computer systems right in front of my own eyes. Yet the store I worked for would still honor the warranty on these devices and would get the customer a replacement. Hell, sometimes the store I worked for would even pay the shipping just to make the customer happy. Yet Palm, which is a much larger company than the store I worked for, won't even fix the damn things for free... let alone pay for the shipping.
Fucking cheap assholes! Want some advice? Don't buy a Palm product if you want a decent warranty. I for one won't be buying a 3Com or Palm product ever again.
I hope you had a backup, 'cause you're gonna need it.
