1. Rushmore- (*****)
Description- My personal all-time favorite movie. No direct absurdity, no real sense of excessive violence, and it may appear as an average, forgettable movie, but for me.. I was able to relate to it. Max Fischer is the greatest character I've ever seen, his actions are what I've wanted to do my whole life.. and I've been what he went through. I know this by heart.
Lessons- Teaches tolerance, determination, independence, and not to ever give up. Even if you get punched in the face. Twice

2. Glory Daze (*****)
Description- About a group of college folk in a run-down house in Santa Cruz. At the end of the line, they decide to try to make a comeback-- get their band back together, and try to be and epitomize what they used to be. Jack Freeman (Ben Affleck) is the main character; girlfriend lost, in a haze of depression clouding him, on the verge of graduation with disappointed parents (having taken an art degree as opposed to something more 'profitable'). Consider it the 1990's Animal House without the frats. These are average guys in an extraordinary movie.
Lessons- Coming of age, to be thankful for what you may or may not have, and to aspire for what you want; not for what everyone else wants,

3. Gladiator (*****)
Description- Frigging awesome. Long, but never boring. Maximus Decimus Meridius, a general, is assumed the position of Caesar in Rome, when Comidus (bastard) kills his own father (thinking that the role of Caesar was his position) and tries to also execute Max'. Max' becomes a slave in the desert in the gladiatorial arena, and through valor of fighting eventually wins over Rome to--- watch the f*cking movie and you'll know. I'm not telling.
Lessons- To never give up. And to not piss yourself before fighting. You usually die.

What I think of other movies:
Armageddon (*)- I used to like it when I saw it the first two or three million times.. but it god old. I hate it. I will not tolerate watching this movie ever again. An excuse for an Aerosmith music video. And another thing about Aerosmith...
Blazing Saddles (****)- This may be #11. I can't think of any other movies, though, so whatever. Happy days.
Glitter ( NO stars )- I don't need to see this movie to think that it's the worst piece of sh*t ever made.
