Dragon Fist Assault
The movie starts out showing a young warrior dropping his orica and a huge foot stomping on him. Then, someone says Earth is the only one left. You see a big city next and some criminals fleeing from the police. A guy and a girl in a costume easily apprehend these criminals in a fight and they head back to their college class (we learn they are Gohan and Videl). They get another call for help that some old man is threatening to commit suicide on a tower. Great Saiyaman 1 and 2 arrive and scare the man. Videl just floats there telling him to jump and so he does, surprising Videl. Gohan catches him and the old man yells at them for not saving him earlier. They bring him to the ground. They learn from him about a brave warrior named Tapion who saved a planet in the southern galaxy 1,000 years ago. He tells them they need to get out of a music box in order to save the Earth from a future villain. For some reason, the crank just can't be turned, even by Gohan. The old man says that he knows that they have contacted Shenron before and that Shenron can open the box. They bring the box back to Capsule Corp. HQ so Bulma can take a look at it. Goku, Trunks, Goten, Bulma, Gohan, and the old man are all there and even Goku can't turn the crank. They all go out and eventually get all the Dragon Balls and summon Shenron. Shenron easily grants their wish and the box starts to play music, until the warrior eventually appears out of the box. He is playing some king of flute until he finally lands on the ground. Tapion looks just like an older version of the warrior at the beginning who got crushed. As the old man approaches the warrior Tapion draws his sword and tells the old man to put him back. The old man tells Tapion he can't go back in because the oracle's seal is broken. Tapion just walks off telling the Z Warriors how they shouldn't have released him. Trunks and Goten follow Tapion to an abandoned factory where they see him groaning for some reason. Later everyone is having a barbecue where Trunks and Goten jack some food for Tapion. They deliver it and then leave without being thanked. Later that night, a monster is attacking a city and the air force is trying to stop it. The Saiyamen then come and fight with the monster and they find out that only the lower half of a monster is attacking. Saiyaman 1 and 2 fight the monster but it's far too strong. Then, Gohan gets angry and powers up to his Mystic form and starts to beat up the monster. He figures out that the monster is defenseless for a second after attacking. Gohan finally gets the monster on he ground when some strange music starts to play. When the smoke clears, Saiyaman 1 and 2 see Tapion standing there playing his flute. As Tapion walks away, Saiyaman 2 spots someone of a roof. We then Trunks delivering a blanket and some pop to Tapion. Tapion yells at Trunks and tells him to scram. Next, we see Tapion sleeping. He drops his flute and some strange energy escapes his body. He is awakened to find a portal in the roof. Out of the portal comes the top half of the monster that was destroying the city. It starts attacking as Tapion dodges. This continues until Tapion retrieves his flute and starts playing it. The monster then gets sucked into the flute and the portal vanishes. Trunks appears and is surprised to find the place in shambles. He leaves Tapion's breakfast there and then we switch scenes. Bulma and Videl are washing dishes and talking about Trunks' secret deliveries to Tapion. Tapion is playing his flute in front of the building when Trunks brings more food. The masked guy appears and knocks away Tapion's orica Trunks retrieves it and we discover that the masked guy is the old man. He tells Trunks that Tapion is the monster that was destroying the city. Trunks is thinking of who to give the flute to. He then throws it to Tapion whom he calls brother. The old man escapes and Trunks begins to leave. Tapion calls to Trunks and asks him to join him for dinner. Tapion finally moves in with Trunks. Trunks is showing Tapion his toys when one breaks in half. Tapion sees this and starts some serious thinking. Then, Trunks is laying in bed and asks about Tapion's brother and planet. He explains about the monster, Hildegarn, that attacked his planet. Right in the middle of the story Trunks falls asleep. We then see Tapion's little brother, Minoshia. He is the little kid who was killed in the beginning of the movie. Tapion starts to walk off when Bulma tries to stop him. He explains how a monster is trapped in his body. There were Black Magicians in a far off galaxy. They were the ones who created Hildegarn out of a statue. The old man is one of them. The monster could be controlled by two items. The monster was paralyzed by the flutes which he and his brother used. Then the sword was used to cut Hildegarn in half. The top half was sealed in Tapion while the other half was sealed in Minoshia. They were then sealed in the oracles to keep the monster from escaping. The oracles were sent to opposite sides of the universe. Hoi, the old man, retrieved both oracles and is trying to put Hildegarn back together. Bulma says that she can create another oracle to contain Tapion. She creates a huge, room sized one. It even has a bed and everything. Next, Hoi is using the lower half of Hildegarn to absorb energy form people. Tapion, even in his new oracle can still feel the terror of Hildegarn. He wakes up screaming as the lower half of Hildegarn is rampaging through the city. Everyone is examining the oracle to figure out what happened. Tapion then appears telling them how he still has the upper half sealed away but the lower half is loose. Then Tapion falls to the ground in pain form Hildegarn. Hoi appears with Hildegarn's lower half. When Tapion tries to use the flute, Hoi blasts it out of his hands. Trunks retrieves it and is almost crushed. When Tapion gets the flute back, Hildegarn's power finally takes it toll and regains control of his whole body. A surge of energy goes through the whole city as Hildegarn's halves reconnect. Everyone escapes the building and Tapion tries to use his flute. Unfortunately, Hildegarn is too strong to stop with just one flute. Everyone starts to attack Hildegarn when we find out he can turn to smoke to dodge attacks. Everyone powers up for another attack. Even with the Super Saiyan power, nobody's a match for Hildegarn. Then Vegeta joins in, really pissed that the monster destroyed his house. Still, Vegeta's no match for the beast. Vegeta crashes into a building and almost gets blasted but wastes the last of his energy stopping it. Then, Goku gets blasted and knocked out. Goten and Trunks do the fusion dance to for SS3 Gotenks. For some reason when they attack, Hildegarn gets trapped in some sort of casing. As Gotenks does his final attack, the casing breaks and an evolved version of Hildegarn comes out. This version has wings and looks almost nothing like the original. Hildegarn knocks apart Goten and Trunks easily while taking out Videl and Gohan. Then Goku appears and Goes in for another attack. He's still not doing any damage to the monster. Goku watches as Hildegarn starts destroying the city. Goku tries to think of a way to destroy Hildegarn and save everyone. Suddenly, Tapion starts to play his flute once more. This eventually start to absorb the monster and traps the whole thing inside Tapion. Tapion drops to the ground and Trunks runs up. Tapion gives Trunks his sword and tell Trunks to kill him. Trunks takes the sword and gets ready to kill Tapion. Trunks raises the sword but before he gets the chance to kill Tapion, Hildegarn escapes and the flute gets destroyed. Apparently Tapion's body alone couldn't hold all of Hildegarn. While Hoi is celebrating, He gets crushed by his own monster. Suddenly, Goku starts powering up to SS3. Hildegarn attacks and Trunks cuts off his tail. Trunks attacks again but Goku tells him to stop. Gohan tries to explain Hildegarn's weakness but Goku already figured it out. Goku just sits there taking Hildegarn's punches for some reason. He then dodges one and goes in for his most powerful attack: The Dragon Fist!! He tears right through Hildegarn, destroying him. Trunks cheers as Hildegarn disappears. Later, Tapion is in a time machine and is and is preparing to go save his brother. He calls Trunks and tosses Trunks his sword. He gives it to him because he doesn't need it anymore. Trunks runs off to say goodbye to Tapion. |
