Broly: The Second Coming
Goten, Trunks, and Videl are out hunting for Dragon Balls for the fun of it. When going to get the sixth Dragon Ball, they encounter a village being terrorized by a monster dragon and see the village sacrificing the last girl there. Videl offers to take the girl's place. Later, Trunks, Goten, and Videl are hiding near the monster's supper and jump out and kill it when it comes. In return, Trunks receives the sixth Dragon Ball from a villager's necklace. Meanwhile, a Saiyan space pod has landed and the Saiyan inside is awakened by Goten's crying, thinking its Kakarott (Goten cries because Videl slaps him). It turns out to be Brolly, who awakens and breaks open the pod. When Brolly comes out of the pod and stretches his muscles, Videl senses it and she heads off to find out what she sensed. She is easily defeated in a battle with Brolly.
Brolly mistakes Goten for Kakarott and there is much fighting, with Trunks and Goten vs. Brolly. During the fight, the last Dragon Ball is found but Goten doesn't know how to summon Shenron, so Trunks gets trashed while trying to distract Brolly. Gohan senses Brolly's power and comes to help in the fight. His blast causes lava to boil up and Gohan lures Brolly into the lava, passing out afterwards. Krillin arrives dressed like Piccolo to save Gohan as a joke (Piccolo saves Gohan in every DBZ Movie except Movies 1, 11, 12, and 13).
Since Brolly is a super Saiyan, the magma doesn't phase him and he continues to attack everyone. Trunks distracts him with an energy ball and because the Dragon Balls are nearby, Goku is allowed to show up and he, Gohan, and Goten do a triple Kamehameha, blasting Brolly into the sun. After the battle, Videl recovers and thinks Gohan was dressing up as Brolly, so she attacks him. Goten and Trunks go to the village to get food, and Krillin wonders why everyone suddenly forgot about him. Then, the Dragon Balls shoot apart as if a wish has been granted. |
