The Perfect Sunset
I was out for a peaceful horseback ride
When I saw somebody in the field
I caught up with the lady
When she finally sees me our eyes meet
I couldnt believe my eyes
There was a young lady with dark hair
Brown eyes, and about five foot three inches
In a beautiful body standing in front of me
I invited her to ride with me
We ended up racing the wind through the endless
Open fields with the grass as green as can be
The sky was a brilliant blue with scattered
Puffs of bright white clouds
We left the open fields into the woods
She found a small clearing in the woods
I tied the horse to a near by tree
And we sat down on a fresh log
We got to know each other well
Talking for hours we had lost track of time
Before we knew it the sun started to set
Watching in awe, the sky changed colors
As the sun went down the trees in front
Of us turned into dark silhouettes
The sky, now a darker shade of blue and
Gradually fading into green, yellow, orange, and red
Towards the horizon, was as spectacular as ever
She grasped my hand and I turned my head
Once again our eyes locked into one another
She started moving closer towards me very slowly
Our lips finally meet, and then.
. Then I wake up.
