Strangers In Love

She was sitting in the moist sand
Letting the waves gently kiss at her feet
Watching the lightning strike the ocean
Sharply in rapid and spaced out spurts
And listening to the thunder
Gently rolling over the cool midnight breeze
There is a magnificent array of diamond like
Stars scattered over the miraculous
never-ending sky
With the bright moon set way up high
Rendering a romantic glow beneath
I was taking a late night stroll
When I noticed her silhouette sitting there
As I drew near our eyes locked and

For that one moment time just stood still
I came closer as she stood up
Our eyes never losing sight of the others
She was beautiful, her eyes sparkled as the
Moonlight reflected off of them
Her body was heavenly, so delightful
She and I came closer; I could now see her face
She had beautiful blue eyes, bright crimson lips,
And long golden-blond hair floating in the wind
Touching her hands was like experiencing
The touch of velvet for the first time
I put my arms around her
As she lovingly caressed my face
It was as if we had known each other forever
Her soft lips met mine
In an everlasting kiss
She unbuttoned my silk shirt and slid it off
My shoulders baring my chest
We slowly stripped each other down
Relishing every single moment
Our hearts pounding louder with every beat
While we made long-lasting love on the beach
I move closer for another sensuous kiss and then
Then I wake up.
