Train Your Brain on the Train
Japan gets a PSP edition of the mental-workout edutainment.
In a seemingly opportunistic move on Sega's part, the company announced that they are developing a Brain Training game for the PSP.
For those who may not know, Nintendo had released a Brain Training for Adults game for their DS handheld. The game wasn't really a game, per say, but more of a daily puzzle and educational tool where players engaged in various mathematics and knowledge-building activities. The DS games were (and still are) huge successes in Japan, selling within the top 10 games every week since its release. Obviously, Sega is trying to cash in on the craze with a PSP edition, which will feature an online rankings board for the best players.
Sega Brain Training is currently Japan-only, and it looks like it will stay there. American and PAL brainiacs, go pickup a book of logic puzzles instead.
