God of Theaters of War
Sony's bloody, smash hit God of War gets a movie deal.

In light of the recent Hot Coffee GTA scandal, many critics seem to be overlooking Sony's own God of War, which has sex scenes as well. And speaking of God of War, Universal Studios recently announced that they have acquired the rights to a God of War film.

The game-to-film adaption will be placed under the watchful eyes of Charles Roven, who has previously worked as a producer for the recently-released Batman Begins and the kung-fu flick Twelve Monkeys. Co-producer on the God of War movie will be Alex Gartner. But more importantly, who will direct this thing!? You'll have to wait for that answer, as none has been announced thus far. Backing up the production's excellent track record, God of War, the game, producer David Jaffe will involve himself in the process.

Fans of the game, which recieved near-universal praise after its' March release, should definitely keep an eye on the production of the big-screen adaption, because this might be a game film that doesn't comepletely suck. And that'd be a welcome change.
