Fighter Fans Rejoice!
Namco teams up with Hori for the Tekken 5 LE.
Namco ramped up the excitement for the next installment in its fabled Tekken fighting game franchise today, announcing a Limited Edition version of Tekken 5, to be launched alongside a standard version.
The company announced it is partnering up with peripheral maker Hori to include a special Tekken peripheral (presumably an arcade stick) in the LE. Also included in the Limited Edition is a copy of the game and a six-disc case for storing all of the games in the Tekken series in.
The limited Tekken 5 bundle will sell for $99.99, but get them while they're hot, as Namco only plans to ship 20,000 units to stores across the country. Tekken 5 and it's Limited Edition will ship Q1 2005.
