At Psi Omega, our first priority is academics. Success in dental school depends on hard work, dedication, and practice. Excellence in dental school opens up possibilities to specialize or land a great job. The health of the patient depends on your knowledge and experience.

Psi Omega exists to give you a helping hand - and a leg up on everybody else. We have a three-fold system to further the academic success of our members:

1.) Exclusive Practice Sessions
Several times each quarter, before each major practical exam, Psi Omega organizes a practice session exclusively for its members. Upperclassmen provide one-on-one help and assistance in mastering the oftentimes difficult and strange things taught in dental school.

Examples:

CVC Crown preparations,
Class I/II amalgam preparations and restorations
Provisional fabrication
Gold Crown castings
Anterior crowns
Alginate Impressions and Cast Mounting

2.) Test and Study Resources
The members of Psi Omega have collected years of very helpful study resources for many of your classes. These resources give an insight into the types of questions you might find on exams and quizzes.

3.) Upperclassmen Mentoring
Incoming students have the advantage of a built-in network of experience and talent to use. Psi Omega members will make sure you succeed!

Social

At Psi Omega, we know that in order to be successful, you need balance in your life. We take many opportunities to get ourselves away from the rigors of dental school to relax and just have a good time.

Whether it be a barbeque on the house patio, a house party, or even a weekend camping trip to a local state park, you are bound to build friendships that will last a lifetime in Psi Omega. These friendships will be important to you as you share the common bond of Psi Omega and the field of dentistry for the rest of your life.

Many of the help sessions that we hold for Psi Omega turn into fun social events in themselves. Pizza is a must and we dare you not to have a good time as you learn and laugh together with your friends in Psi Omega.
