My name is ...... I am a member of the class of .... As house manager, I'm in charge of keeping the Psi Omega house livable.
If you are still looking for a place to live, Psi Omega offers one of the largest and best-equipped fraternity houses on the Ohio State campus. Our spacious family room provides a place to relax and take a break from your studies to play pool, ping-pong, or to watch our large cable TV.
Our in-house laboratory also has cable TV. The lab facility allows our members to complete lab work with all the comforts of home. The large kitchen and closeness to High St make it easy to prepare your own food, or get someone else to do it. The quiet, private rooms have lots of storage space and the option of a versatile bunk to expand your living space.
Best of all, upperclasspersons in the fraternity are always willing to help and share their knowledge and experience to give you an extra edge in dental school. Other advantages of the house include:
RENT: $650 per quarter (thats less than $220 per month in Columbus, it usually costs around $300/month to room in a private house, and an average of $450 for a 1-bedroom apartment in the campus area, with prices higher elsewhere). House residents are automatic fraternity members, and have no additional dues.
LOCATION: The dental school is less than a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride from the house. High St. stores, bars, and restaurants and the Student Union are just a block away, along with the bus route to Downtown (free with your student ID).
PARKING: There is plenty of FREE parking at our house for all members, even those who dont live at the house. You will find this a huge advantage just look at the price of an OSU parking pass! Because OSU parking convenient to the dental school is so limited, oftentimes the only way to park on campus is to park on West Campus and ride a bus. The university is destroying the large lot by the river to build a freeway interchange, making OSU parking even worse. With Psi Omega membership, you dont have to worry about any of this.
If you're considering living at the Psi Omega house, please contact Dawn Chaney ([email protected]) to find out more or to schedule a personal tour.
