| About Us The Parents' Association plays an essential role in our school. It provides leadership and direction to parents who are seeking to become more involved with their children's education and within the school community. A good place for parents to find out what's happening in our school is through involvement with the Parents' Association. Parents can learn how their school operates as well as what goes on in and around their children's school. Not to mention networking with other parents who are also committed to the P.S. 222 community. As a parent and/or legal guardian to a student who is currently enrolled at P.S. 222, you are automatically a member of the General Membership of the Parents' Association. All members are eligible to volunteer on our committees and/or run for a Parents' Association Executive Board position. Elections are held in the spring. Participation is vital to having a Parents' Association work at their best. All parents are encouraged to attend General Membership meetings as well as Executive Board meetings. Our meetings are the perfect place where parents can voice questions, concerns and opinions regarding their children's school experience. There are many committees and activities that need parental involvement to be successful. The greater your participation, the better our school can be! We welcome and encourage all families to participate in any capacity. 100 Ways To Help Your Child and School Succeed |
