Paul Prudente's Home Page

My mom went to church one Sunday morning. When she got there, she realized that she was the only one there. When she went inside, she walked up to the front altar and kneeled down. Then, out of nowhere she fainted. She laid there unconscious until she was awakened by the Priest. Priest asked her what had happened and she said, "God says I am pregnant with a boy and his name will be Paul". My mom ran home to tell the news. Everyone in my family thought that she had a dream. She insisted that what happened to her was true. She proved them wrong.

8 months later, I was born on March 10, 1984. My parents decided to name me Paul Anthony. Paul came from my mom�s recent experience and Anthony because it is my father�s name. I grew up in Port Washington in a house located at 9 Vanderventer. At the time, that piece of property was the where the Nuzzolese Bros. Ice Company ran its business, which was owned by my grandfather, Frank Nuzzolese. There was never a dull moment in that house. People were always running through the house, creating constant excitement. A few years later, I moved into an apartment. I enjoyed living here because I was right across from Daly School and surrounded by my friends. I lived there for 5 years. After those 5 years, I moved into the house that I am currently living in. I have been here for 7 years. I am really happy with the way my life is going.

In the future, I hope to accomplish many things. Right now I am in the process of completing my final year of High School. Throughout this year, I will be studying many different courses. Right now I am currently working on an English project. The aim of my project is to educate people about the death penalty and try to convince them that there are other means of punishment that are equal, if not worse than the death penalty and that the death penalty should be abolished. I hope to succeed in all of them because I want to go to a good college and get a good education so I will not have to work long hard hours the way many of my family members have had to. My main goal though is to make myself known by playing baseball. My dream is to someday play for a major league team, preferably the New York Yankees.
