�Road To Nowhere� Epilogue: We Belong Together �What�s up Orlando? Are you ready to rock?� Dan said into his microphone. *Flashback* �Hey, Courtney,� Dan said one morning during the summer after graduation. �Dan,� Courtney replied rolling over on the bed to face him. �O-Town called and asked me to join the group, what do you think?� Dan asked his wife. They had been married two days after the graduation ceremony. �I think that�s great Danny!� Courtney giggled. �I�m so proud of you!� �The only catch is that I�ll have to move to Orlando,� Dan said his voice dead serious. �Oh,� Courtney�s mood turned serious too. �Well I still think it�s great!� �Would you come with me?� Dan asked her. �Of course, Dan. I�ll go with you. I�m never going to leave you ever again,� Courtney said resuming her hug. *End Flashback* �Tonight we have a very special song for you,� Dan continued. The crowd buzzed with an excited hum. Courtney watched from the side of the stage. Dan had begged her to come to the show, promising her something unexpected. �This is a new song that we thought we�d play for you tonight,� Ashley said. Ashley Angel, one of Courtney�s best friends had also joined O-Town. He was the same old Ashley that he had always been. �This song is called �Baby, I Would�,� Dan told the crowd. �And it�s especially dedicated to a very special person named Courtney. This one�s for you, Court.� A sweet melody filled the air. �Would I walk through fire just to be with you, to be with you? Would I cross an ocean just to hold you, yeah,� Ashley sang. �Would I give up all I have to see you smile?� Dan continued. *Flashback* �Do you Courtney Marie Evans take Daniel Mark Miller to be your lawfully wedded husband?� the priest asked Courtney. �I do,� Courtney said into Dan�s ocean blue eyes. �And do you Daniel Mark Miller take Courtney Marie Evans to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward?� the priest turned to Dan. �I do, I always have,� Dan said to Courtney forgetting about the rest of the people in the room. �I now pronounce you man and wife! You may now kiss the bride!� the priest announced. Courtney and Dan shared another of their soulful kisses. Their kisses were their trademark. Every time they kissed they grew to love each other more. *End Flashback* �And would I defend you with my life?� Dan sang his words as though he meant them. Courtney knew that he did and always would. �And if tears should find your eyes, I would be the one to dry them. I would risk it all and give it all to you.� *Flashback* �Courtney, I know you�ve said no before but I�m going to ask again,� Dan got down on his knee right there on the front porch. �Will you marry me?� Courtney got down on her knees next to him. �Yes, Dan, I will.� They stood up and embraced. They had shown the world that they could prevail over any circumstance. They triumphed and no one could take that away. It felt good to finally know how everything was going to work out. It felt good. *End Flashback* �I can. I could. Baby, I would,� Dan�s eyes glistened with tears. �Thank you Orlando! And goodnight.� The guys walked off stage to where Courtney was standing. �That was great guys!� she told them. �Thanks, Courtney,� Dan said hugging her. �I love you, Danny,� Courtney said kissing his cheek. �I�ll always love you, Court,� Dan said. �Always.� And the happy ending no one thought would come, made it all happen. Courtney and Dan had proved that happy endings don�t only happen in fairy tales. * * * * Whatever happened to� Courtney�s father and stepmother moved to Orlando and gave full custody of Courtney to Dan�s family which changed when they got married after they had both turned eighteen. Chelsea and Matt were thrilled when they found out that their best friend had moved back. Courtney and Dan lived happily ever after because that�s what O-Town members do! * * * * The End =]
