It Should've Been Easy Chapter 1: Wasting My Time Here is my latest story. It is <^><^><^><^><^><^><^> This story opens in O-Towns tour bus. The guys were meeting with their manager, Rachel Anderson. Rachel was giving them instructions for their venue for their concert that night. You guys need to be dressed and backstage no later that 7:15, Rachel read from the sheet of paper in her hand. Aww, Rach, Trevor Penick whined. Aww, Trev, she mocked him. What is it now? That means that we have fifteen minutes to kill before show time, Trevor said. Yeah? So? Rachel asked not sure where he was taking this. Fifteen minutes, Trevor said again. How will I keep myself amused? Someone hit him, Rachel rolled her eyes. You know, Trevor, you could always practice before the show. Jacob Underwood was closest so he hit the back of Trevors head. You definitely need the extra fifteen minutes of practice, Jacob told him. Rach? Is that all? Dan Miller asked. Yeah. You guys can go. Well be at the venue in about two hours, Rachel adjourned the meeting. Ashley Angel, Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob, and Trevor went their separate ways in the bus. Rachel stayed sitting working on management stuff. Dan sat across from her and stared at her. Rachel looked up. What Dan? Will you do me a favor? Dan asked. What kind of favor? Rachel asked suspicious. Robin is flying in tonight and I need someone to pick her up, Dan told her. And the favor would be? Rachel asked amused. Will you go get her? Dan finally asked. Rachel sighed. She wasnt too fond of Robin Collins, Dans girlfriend. Rachel had been a fan of O-Town before she was their manager. She also had a huge crush on Dan. She had liked Dan ever since he had joined the band. She had a hard time seeing him with other women. He didnt know how she felt. He could never know how much she cared. If he ever found out, both their jobs could be in jeopardy. Rachel had to be in control of herself and the situation around him. She sighed again. Okay, what time? Rachel asked giving in. Thanks Rach, Dan gave her Robins flight information. I owe you. Once he was out of ear shot Rachel replied, You bet you do. At the airport Rachel stood at baggage claim waiting for Robin. She looked at her watch. It was 7:12. She needed to get back to the venue. Finally she saw Robin coming around the corner. Robin was dressed in skintight leather pants and a bright pink tube top. She had a furry pink jacket on over the outfit. Rachel rolled her eyes. Why did Dan always pick the high maintenance ones? Hey Robin! Rachel said sucking up her pride. Wheres my Danny? Robin demanded. Hes at the venue with the other guys getting ready for the show, Rachel told her as they walked to the car. Oh, was Robins only reply. They didnt talk as Rachel drove to the venue. Once inside, Robin practically ran backstage. Rachel let her go. She had other things to worry about. Rachel went to find Nate, the boys bodyguard. Hey Nate, did the guys get on okay? she asked. Yeah Rachel. You have nothing to worry about. Youve trained them well, Nate told her. Thanks Nate, Rachel waved to him as she went to watch the show. Forward >>> | Love it? Hate it? Let me know!
