Band Biography

Prophecy 1:27 is Christian music with an alternative edge.

The year was 1999.  The band is Prophecy 1:27.  The beginning was a youth group worship team. Franois Goudreault Jr. (bass, lead vocals), Mike Donais (guitar, background vocals), Mike Paterson (keyboard, background vocals) and Matt Kalinauskas (drums) are the members of this worship team who broke away and took their chances in the growing Christian music industry.  Immediately they realized that God had the intention of using them and they made it their mission to spread the word of Christ like the rising sun - burning and inescapable.

Fusing together their guitar driven alternative influence, their keyboard filled techno influence and cheeky but sensitive melodies of a punk rock influence the four high school juniors draw excited crowds with their clearly original and widely diverse sound and then hook them with passionate, fervent worship.

Having seen their share of band troubles and issues, the four members insist that God is leading them in every endeavor.  They ensure that Jesus is the center of all that they do and subject themselves to transparency during performances so that Jesus Christ shines through them.  The message is one of complete faith and utter dependence on God.  The lyrics reflect personal experiences, dabbling into realms of romance, family and temptation but always returning to the focus, which is praising the Creator.  Highly acclaimed and enjoyed everywhere they go, Prophecy 1:27 (Colossians 1:27) is quickly making a name for themselves and spreading the one and only sacred prophecy:
Prophecy 1:27 believes that there is an event in the future thats going to change a lot of lives . . .
We want to make sure that people know about it.
