Song Titles & Explanations
Show Me:(The Mic Check Song): We all want our lives to amount to something and were constantly searching.  Show Me is a plea to be used in a positive, effective way in the world in which we live.

Down Under: The world were faced with can sometimes be a whirlpool a downward spiral with no sign of hope.  When we find ourselves in that place, the ONLY way to get out is to have the faith and the audacity to change it.

Here With Me: One of Prophecy 1:27s first songs, this talks about faith.  I cant see you, but I know youre Here With Me right now.  We need to live by the idea of faith without knowing.

Mikes Song: This song is very personal both to the writer and the band as a whole.  Worship takes us to a place inside our hearts and this song is asking God to keep us there, no matter what we try to do to escape it.

Davids Sling: When somebody first comes to the Lord, there is a fervency a feeling only slightly less than violence in their love for God.  We need to maintain this in everything that we do.

Movie Star: Movie Star tries to depict Jesus as a fun, exciting guy, because so often religion is depicted of as some kind of solemn ritual.  God didnt intend it to be like this he wants us to sing, dance and shout for Him joyously.

Bitter Nights: Both for a teenager, or anybody for that matter, society tries to tie us down with sin, shame and emptiness.  Instead of turning to drugs, alcohol, or worse, we need to realize that only through forgiveness can we truly be free and renewed.

Break Down and Cry: Sometimes were afraid to ask for Gods forgiveness because were ashamed of ourselves and scared of what people will think.  God sees through us but he understands the pain at the same time and waits patiently for us to cry out.

What You Mean to Me: We often push faith to the side as a separate entity from our everyday lives.  Girlfriends, boyfriends, school and work get in the way and What You Mean to Me is about prioritizing our Saviour above all else.
