| There are major regions of British Columbia which are historical land sites as well as prospecting mineral deposits . These sites were overseen and not profitable to mine. As technology and science increases we can now find large deposits of silver,titanium, platinum and even gold. |
| The Omineca region was first discoverd between 1860 and 1870 . It is a historical mining area which brought Chinese Prospectors into the Houston B.C. area. However the Ministry of Mines has no record, Remnants of Mines and equipment tells us otherwise. |
