Take With You My Love
July, 1997

The shadows of moonlight are hovering near.
Threatening all that, inside, I hold dear.

Taken in flight, the spirit has ended.
Although it seemed so secure and defended.

The will of the Lord is never unquestioned.
The will of the Lord is where we are destined.

My pain and my sorrow are felt by us all.
Together we ride, until we must fall.

Away in a moment, the ride leads us on.
Eventually all that we feel may be gone.

My love and my pride are guiding your journey.
Asking for nothing at all to return me.

I speak into Heaven and know that you hear.
That all of my memories will always be dear.

Take with you my love, from deep in my heart.
Believe that I, never, from you will depart.

On July 16th, 1997, one of the people in my life who meant so much to me passed away.  My grandmother was a ripe young 66 years of age when she was taken from us, the family.  She was always a bright memory for us when we thought about her, and she always will be.  From the bottom of my heart, and as the rest of the family feels, too, we hope that she knows how much we loved and appreciated her.  Rest in Peace, Grandma.  We love you.
