Mom Called Yesterday July, 2003 Mom called yesterday; She told me not to worry. She said from where she's sitting It seems I'm always in a hurry. Mom called yesterday; She told me not to fret. She said the toughest part of life I haven't conquered yet. Mom called yesterday; She said to let it ride! She said the only thing that matters Is what you have inside. Mom called yesterday; She said that things would change. She said that many times in life I'd discover something strange. Mom called yesterday, She said that Heaven's great. She said she missed us all down here And that she couldn't wait. Mom called yesterday, And something in her voice Washed everything off of my soul And caused me to rejoice.. .

Sometimes, old memories flare up in our minds, and we don't know what quite to make of them. Well, this is precisely the case with this poem. You see, my mother passed away a few years ago and although I've thought of her constantly, never has the emotion been so strong as when I thought these following words. I know she's looking down on her family and smiling, so I wanted to share her words, with all of you. Please, remember how much your loved ones care for you, and remind them of how much you care for them.

Mom Called Yesterday July, 2003 . Mom called yesterday, She said to tell you all. That sometimes we're expected To take unwelcome falls. Mom called yesterday, Just to say, "Hello." And in her soft, and comforting Voice, I just let go.. I called Mom yesterday To tell her that we love her, But she already knew because Somebody knew above her. . ~ the Professor
