The Truth of Love
February, 2004

I read the letters, countless times,
Trying, just to find
The reason you had written them,
But none came into mind.

Each time I read, this feeling rushed
Into my weakened heart.
Despite the logic of my brain,
Again, the tears did start.

Not once, not twice, repeatedly
I asked myself the question.
If this were how you really felt,
Where did you think we're destined?

I found I could not answer it,
No matter what I tried.
And, so, my sorrow took the reigns,
And, once again, I cried.

Each time I look into my heart
This feeling soars and soars,
For I know not the truth of love
That's lying inside yours..

It is difficult sometimes, as well, to deal with the demons of others in your relationships.  What you must keep in mind, class, is that the only thing in a relationship that matters, is how you and your partner feel about each other.  As long as that is solid, then there can be no doubt.  Listen to what happens, once you allow doubt to rear its ugly head in your relationships.
