The Silver in My Cloud
April, 2005

I reach out to the surface but
The image ripples 'way.
I leave my arm extended 'till
It tires of the fray.

Again I see the image and
I see in the reflection,
How foreign it appears to be
Inciting insurrection.

This time I jerk my hand away,
Atypical of me,
And when I look, I see the fist
That could not help but be.

Inside the revolution takes
The will out of my fight.
I have no choice; it seems I must
Surrender to the night.

I wail, but surely can't be heard
Above the noisome crowd.
I hope, fir it is all I have:
The silver in my cloud..

To continue on the issue of true love, here is a little snipit into the mind of us who feel it.  Socitey has brainwashed us into believing that certain actions in a relationship require certain responses.  These are conditioned responses and should not be carried out to fruition.  Of course, feeling the emotion is perfectly natural, but acting on behalf of it is another issue.  When we learn to control unwarranted emotion, then we master our relationship.  Think about it.
