| Faithfully at Pause May, 2005 Alone, I stand beside myself Awaiting misery. A clouded mind above it all Makes it hard to see. I'm peering through the window but The rain has brought the fog. My face pressed to the glass just like A loyal little dog. Soon, I know, you will be home, Yet still I cannot stop This beating deep withing my chest; My heart is going to pop. I press one hand against the glass And now it has turned cold. Surprised, I find myself in awe, Believing stories told. Unlike the stories, I remain Steadfast unto the cause. This loyal dog, at home alone Is faithfully at pause. ~ the Professor |

| Once again, it is important to understand the truth of your relationships. Knowing one thing is much better than idle speculation. That is why this poem states the difference between what conditioning from society teaches us to do, and what our hearts tell us is the right thing to do. Faith is strongest when you believe in it fully, my friends. That is why this old dog's relationship is one of the strongest he's ever seen in the world. |
