| Smile That Smile Again May, 2000 I've looked at you and often thought How pleasing it would feel To touch these lips to yours just once And feel the world, surreal. I've dreamt your face so many times. The image cannot fade. And each night I lie down to sleep, A smile leads the way. The night goes by without a hitch. I sleep, needless to say, As well as any man I know Who's loved someone this way. The day is yet another tale Tainted by the craze Of focusing only on you. Oh! How I fear the days! There you sit! That smile again! It's driving me insane! Smile that smile at me again, And this time, I might faint. Countless times I've felt your touch, Only to awaken, Missing just the thought of you That from me has been taken. ~ the Professor |

| No matter how many times we look at that special someone in our lives, when we are in love, the feeling never changes. The flutter in our hearts never dies out. The sweaty palms are always there, and we know, oh yes, we know. Sometimes, we think to ourselves, "Oh, if you do that one more time, I'm just gonna die." And the feeling overtakes us again. This is my rendition of that feeling. Enjoy!! |
