It's Everything
April, 2003

It's like magic in the summertime:
A warm new mystery
It's cherries on my 'nana split:
The key to sanity.
It's that brand new bike at Christmas:
A welcome sight indeed.
It's my mother's warm and long embrace:
All the love I need.
It's the symphony the wind chimes play:
Music to my ears.
It's the night light in my room at night:
To scare away my fears.
It's apple pie at Grandma's house:
A perfect afternoon.
It's anticipating holidays:
They all will be here soon!
It's a hand shake from my father:
Congratulations, son.
It's everything I see in you
That tells me, you're the one.

This day marked a new day in the emotions that had been running through my veins.  You see, I had realized that something was missing from my life.  Not until I saw how much I meant to her, did I realize that it was she that filled that missing part of my life.  Now that I've found her, I want her to understand one thing above all else.  She is everything to me.  Without her, the emptiness would surely conquer and I would be just a pawn.
