What's Being Done?

Despite all the problems that come up as a result of this issue, little has been done to address it. The principle reason is that the issue is one that is inately difficult to deal with. The problem stems from stereotypes that preceed my generation, which makes the only real way to address it getting rid of these stereotypes. The topic is difficult to address with legislation because of the way laws need to be written: so that they're fair to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, etc. Defining racial profiling or discrimination from a legal standpoint that allows us to make laws against it is one problem that comes up.
