UNITS OF ECOLOGICAL CONSERVATION

FUNDAMENTAL

The students that participate in this international project, will have the opportunity of comunicate with students of other parts of the world and they will share information on units of ecological conservation ( for this project the following have been considered : national park, national reservation, historic sanctuary, and natural sanctuary).

Objetives of the project:

a) Investigate and diffuse the units of ecological conservation from a point of ecological and tourist view.

b) Detect the problems and possibilities that they confront.

c) Undertake actions for their care, maintenance, and preservation.

d) Contribute to the generation of an ecological culture, responsible and participative.

II PHASE:

Execution of the project: (15 September at 30 November)

Summary of information and send it to the participant designated schools.

 

The followings activities are suggested:

a) Define and differentiate the followings terms: Units of ecological conservation, national park, national reservation, natural sanctuary and historic sanctuary.

b) Investigate the units of ecological conservation of your country (considerate in the items "a")

c) Organize and send the information considering the following:

- Description of each one of the investigated places, classifying it in their respective unit of conservation.

- Detect problems and difficulties that are presented

- Include pictures and drawings.

d) Carry out visits to the units of ecological conservation of your location.

and) Elaborate a map of your country marking the location of the mainl units of ecological conservation.

f) Elaborate an album with the vegetables species and/ or animals that characterize to each one of the units of ecological conservation.

g) Elaborate ads and messages in those that they are diffused the units of conservation from a point of ecological and tourist view.

h) Interchange postals of the tourist considerating places in the investigation (this activity will be carried out through the common mail.)

i) Elaborate periodically a flannel board (it could be every 15 days) with the investigated and received [resúmenes], with the [finalidad] of sharing the information with the educational community.

j) Carry out campaigns of diffusion and preservation on the units of ecological conservation of their location or region.

III PHASE:

Evaluation and diffusion of the outputs: (10 [setiembre] at 30 [setiembre])
