Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart - October 15th, 2006 - Credit: JustJared.com
Angelina Jolie plays Mariane, widow of the Wall Street Journal reporter, who was murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002 while researching a story on the links between shoe bomber Richard Reid and Islamic spiritual leader Sheikh Mubarak Gilani. Mariane was pregnant with their child (inset) when her husband was kidnapped. Jolie said in a weekend statement that she was disappointed not to be filming in Pakistan, a country I love and have visited three times. But security concerns pushed the filming to the western Indian city of Pune, which was chosen because it resembles Karachi, Pakistan. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation through the recently formed Jolie-Pitt Foundation. Brad and Angie released this statement: On this day our thoughts go out to Dannys family. The Daniel Pearl Foundation is celebrating this day, his birthday, with music festivals around the world. The festivals are a great reminder of not just Dannys work as a journalist but of his life and his love of music.
Trump Shares His Interesting Thoughts On Angelina... - October 15th, 2006 - Credit: CityRag
The "WTF?" moment of the week comes from Donald Trump and his harsh talk about Angelina Jolie on Larry King. It's no secret that Donald Trump has a foul personality, craggily face, goiter neck and ridiculous comb-over, but he's also one of the stingiest billionaires around and gives embarrassing low amounts to charity! Making Trump's sh*t talk about the incredibly philanthropic Jolie extra loathsome.
"Well, look, number one, I know her father. Her father is a nice guy. I think she treats him like a dog... She's been with so many guys she makes me look like a baby, OK, with the other side. And, I just don't even find her attractive."

Maddox received a mountain of gifts to mark the special day, including a mini-dune buggy from his loving adoptive parents.
Pitt/Jolie Photo-Theft Mystery Revealed - June 30th, 2006 - Credit: Hollywood.com
HOLLYWOOD - The investigation into the theft of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's baby shower pictures has centered on Jolie's brother, who took a broken camera containing the snaps to a repair shop.
Police swooped on two suspects on Tuesday--Bill Keyes and Adam Beckwith--who had downloaded pictures of the Hollywood couple's Namibia party held ahead of the birth of their daughter Shiloh Nouvel last month.
However it has emerged that, rather than stealing the camera's memory card, Keyes and Beckwith were given it by Jolie's brother James Haven.
Haven handed the faulty camera in for repairs in Los Angeles following his visit to the African party.
Neither Keyes nor Beckwith have been arrested yet, according to TMZ.com, but police have seized the camera and Keyes' computer.
Guarding Maddox Jolie-Pitt: Paparazzo Pays Price - June 28th, 2006 - Credit: Access Hollywood
MALIBU, Calif. (June 23, 2006) -- A paparazzo was arrested Thursday after he was discovered hiding in bushes outside a daycare center attended by Angelina Jolie's adopted son, authorities said.
Photographer Clint Brewer, 25, was trying to take pictures of 4-year-old Maddox Jolie-Pitt, according to Cindy Guagenti, a publicist for Jolie's partner, Brad Pitt.
Brewer was detained by security shortly before 11 a.m. and the property's owner made a citizen's arrest, said sheriff's Lt. Crystal Miranda.
Deputies arrested Brewer on suspicion of trespassing and he was later released on $1,000 bail, officials said.
Jolie, Pitt and their children returned to Malibu two weeks ago after Jolie, 31, gave birth to daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt in Namibia last month. The couple have two older children, 18-month-old Zahara, adopted from Ethiopia, and Maddox, adopted from Cambodia.
Both Maddox and Zahara's surnames were legally changed to Jolie-Pitt after Pitt, 42, announced his intention to adopt the children.

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT are lavishing extra love on adopted daughter ZAHARA, because she's jealous of her baby sister SHILOH NOUVEL. Jolie insists she expected the seven-month-old would find it hard to cope and treated her and four-year-old son MADDOX extra specially in the build up to the birth last month (MAY06). The actress says, "Z's a little jealous because (Shiloh's) a girl. "But Maddox loves her. It's like having a tiny pet he can hold and look at. "I was kind of prepared to defend my other children. I was prepared to give them extra love and extra attention because something was going to be different about this new one."

NEW YORK (June 16, 2006) -- Angelina Jolie opens up about her daughter's terrifying birth in a brand new interview with Anderson Cooper.
Details on baby Shiloh's arrival have been scarce since she was born on May 27. But now, Angelina explains what had her frightened in the delivery room.
In her first stateside interview since the birth, Angie confessed to CNN's Anderson Cooper her fears during delivery.
"You're just suddenly terrified they're not going to take a first breath," a candid Angelina revealed. "You're there for the birth, which I wasn't for my first two kids and I just wanted to hear her cry."
Both of Angelina's other children -- 16-month-old Zahara and 4-year-old Maddox -- were adopted.
Angelina sat down exclusively with Cooper, who told Access Hollywood he was blown away by her motherly glow.
"It was four days after she got back from Namibia that we talked," Anderson told Access. "She's Angelina Jolie. She looks amazing. She talked about what it was like giving birth in Namibia and why she chose there and what her plans are for a future family."
As Cooper found out, it appears those plans include expanding the family.
"Next we'll adopt," Jolie said. "We don't know which -- which country. But we're looking at different countries It's gonna be the balance of what would be best for Mad and for Z right now. It's, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit best with the kids."
Angelina also told Cooper that Shiloh's daddy Brad Pitt was by mom's side the entire time.
"He was in the operating room," she said.
And not even giving birth can slow down Jolie, a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, as she continues to speak out for her causes, as Cooper found out.
"Even in the midst of all this drama about her own family, she's really focused on helping refugees overseas. She just doesn't talk the talk, she walks the walk," Anderson told Access. "She's been to more than 20 countries and she said she donates a third of her income to charity."
Besides the third of her hefty paycheck, she is also donating the $4 million that Shiloh Nouvel's premiere baby pics brought in.
But was there more than meets the eye to that deal?
In a bidding war for the photos, People magazine took top honors. People and CNN are both part of Time Warner, which raises the question was the interview with Cooper part of the deal?
"They came to us to do the interview," Cooper told Access. "We've done a lot of work in Africa and it's a story I continue to focus on. She and I have both been in a lot of the same places and have had similar experiences."

Angelina Jolie gives birth to baby girl in Africa - May 28th, 2006 - Credit: MSNBC
LOS ANGELES - In what was arguably the most anticipated delivery in the world, Angelina Jolie gave birth to Brad Pitts daughter Saturday in Africa, Pitts publicist announced.
The night of May 27, 2006 in Namibia, Africa, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed their daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. No further information is being given, publicist Cindy Guagenti said in a statement.
No photographs were being released, she added.
A celebrity magazine earlier Saturday reported Jolie was scheduled to give birth via Caesarian section.
In Touch Weekly wrote on its web site that Jolie, 30, had planned to give birth to her child with Pitt at an African resort where they are staying, but doctors told Jolie she would be safer in a hospital.
Theres nothing seriously wrong. They are expecting it all to be routine, the magazine quoted an unnamed insider as saying.
The babys arrival had been the subject of intense press speculation in recent months, compelling the superstar couple to decamp to Africa for privacy.
The actors were linked romantically shortly after appearing together in the 2005 movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Jolie, 30, is a frequent visitor to Africa and serves as goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.
Jolie has two adopted children: toddler Zahara, from Ethiopia, and 4-year-old Maddox, from Cambodia.
Both had their surnames legally changed to Jolie-Pitt after Pitt announced his intentions to co-adopt the children.
Pitt and actress Jennifer Aniston divorced last fall.
Jolie, who won an Oscar for her supporting role in 1999s Girl, Interrupted, is divorced from Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
In an e-mail to the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France on Tuesday, Pitt wrote he couldnt attend the screening of his new film, Babel, due to the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family.
The expected birth of the first biological child for both Jolie and Pitt, 42, has drawn intense media attention and equally determined efforts by the couple to maintain their privacy.
Arriving at the coastal town of Walvis Bay last month, they have been shielded by their own bodyguards and Namibian police at the luxury Burning Shores resort hotel. Pitt and Jolie have largely kept out of sight along with her two adopted children, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 16 months.
Last month, the couples security chief gave a local journalist a statement signed by Pitt and Jolie asking that they be left alone.
Photographers have gotten a few shots, but for the most part, they have had to settle for photos of large, green barriers set up on the beach to block the view of prying lenses.

Angelina Jolie may be Sin City's Dame to Kill For! - February 4th, 2006 - Credit: Newkerala.Com
Washington: If rumours are to be believed then Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie may star in the sequel to Hollywood blockbuster Sin City, as director Robert Rodriguez is keen to cast her in his new flick A Dame to Kill For.
I know she's certainly a dame most any of us would kill for!, webmaster Harry Knowles exclaims, referring of course to the expected title of the sequel A Dame to Kill For.
Jolie reportedly caught up with Rodriguez recently to discuss a part in the follow-up, which reunites most of the cast - including Michael Madsen, Rosario Dawson and Mickey Rourke - and characters from the first film.
Jolie will be playing Ava, the sultry seductress who leaves Dwight (Clive Owen) for a rich bankroll of a husband. Year's later, Ava shows up on his door, speaking seduction but secretly planning his corruption and downfall.
Jolie: 'I won't wed Brad' - February 4th, 2006 - Credit: Yahoo! News
Angelina Jolie has laughed off reports she's about to wed Brad Pitt in Europe - insisting she won't marry for a third time.
In a brief and candid interview with American tabloid the Globe's Leon Wagener the pregnant Alexander star insists marriage couldn't be further from her mind.
She says, "We will never marry. Brad is going through a divorce and I've been divorced twice, so it's not something we're considering."
Brad and Angelina Reproduce - January 13th, 2006 - Credit: E!Online
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are sharing joint credit on their next big production: baby.
While they have never confirmed that they are, in fact, dating, the easy-on-the-eyes twosome is expecting their first child together. Which, to us, pretty much means they're more than "just friends."
The baby, who will be the first biological offspring for both Jolie and Pitt, is expected to make its much anticipated entrance into the world this summer.
Jolie first announced news of her pregnancy Monday to an aid worker in the Dominican Republic, where she is on location shooting The Good Shepard, People magazine reports. Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed the news to E!
Rumors of Jolie's pregnancy have been in circulation for a while. As recently as last week, the actress' rep was furiously issuing denials in response to a Life & Style cover story touting the pending stork visit.
Jolie is already the mother of four-year-old Maddox, whom she adopted from Cambodia, and one-year-old Zahara, whom she adopted from Ethiopia, while Pitt is in the process of becoming their daddy.
At the beginning of December, Pitt's publicist issued a statement confirming that the Mr. and Mrs. Smith costars were taking steps to legally append Maddox and Zahara's names with Pitt's surname, transforming the tykes into little Jolie-Pitts and Pitt into their adoptive father.
Pitt made no secret of his desire to be a dad during his four-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston, famously telling Diane Sawyer in a December 2004 interview, "God, I'm going to say it: Kids. Family. I'm thinking family. Yeah. I got family on the mind."
One month later, in the split heard 'round the world, the couple announced their separation and Aniston subsequently filed for divorce. The split was finalized in October.
Both Pitt and Jolie have publicly denied that any impropriety took place while Pitt was still a married man. The couple was first photographed together, along with Maddox, on the sandy shores of an African beach last April.
While Aniston has said she believes Pitt's claim that he did not cheat on her with Jolie, there's little doubt that the news of her ex-husband's impending fatherhood comes as a blow to the former Friends star.
In the cover story for the September issue of Vanity Fair, Aniston reportedly became tearful when asked about the prospect of Pitt and Jolie having a child together and declined to answer questions on the topic.
"My worst fear is that Jen will have to face them having a baby together soon, because that would be beyond beyond painful," her close friend, Kristin Hahn, told the magazine.
Aniston's pain and suffering aside, Jolie's decision to reproduce naturally with Pitt is something of a departure for the actress, who once told E! News, "I've never wanted to be pregnant, I've always wanted to adopt."
Soon after she adopted Zahara, Jolie publicly stated she would like to go through the process again soon. "Most of the night I just thought about how quickly I want to adopt again. It's a very special thing. There's something about making a choice, waking up and traveling somewhere and finding your family," the actress told People in October.
This time around, it looks like she and Pitt have pinpointed the location of the next member of their family unit--no travel required.
