Aishwarya Palace is a treat for Aishwarya Rai fans. Created by me as an allied site of priyatu.com, AshPalace will tell you every thing you have ever wanted to know about the Beauty Queen. Of course, the best thing would be to visit the site, but in this page I take the opportunity to tell you something concerning the site and the subject of the site.

Aishwarya Rai became Miss India II in January 1994, where she narrowly missed out to Sushmita Sen. Sushmita Sen went to Manila in May and won India's first Miss Universe title. The much more beautiful (by popular consent) Aishwarya came under intense pressure to win the Miss World title in November, a title which only once came to India. But her destiny was made of stars, and she created history. A few years after winning the world, she came to the film industry. After a flurry of flops down south, she created magic with Hum dil de chuke sanam and Taal. Thereafter she has become one of the top notch actresses in Bollywood. Aishwarya Palace traces this history, looks at a few controversies and films, and tries to come at an appraisal of her immense popularity.

In AshPalace you can know about her since her Miss India days to the present. The material in the site draws on archival materials, old magazines and newspapers, the internet, television and trivia. Despite everything, the site remains a personal endeavour. The honest claim which I can make as a site author is that if you are an Aishwarya fan, you are sure to love this site.
