Browse through some of my old work

Religion and Hypocrisy in Oliver Twist
A grade 10, first term essay concerning the theme of religious hypocrisy in Dickens’ classic. The main areas of inquiry consist of the following; (1) theft, (2) marriage, (3) dishonesty, (4) failure to relieve the poor, and (5) attempted murder. Several minor grammatical and referencing errors have been corrected from the original. Comments and/or critique are welcomed.

Dorcas Morse: Portrait of a Seventeenth Century Woman
An 8th grade, third trimester research project on an early colonial inhabitant of Massachusetts. Primary sources were used, and inferences were drawn independent of secondary synthesized materials. In the case of Dorcas Morse, there weren’t any secondary sources and specifically pertinent primary research materials were virtually non-existent.

  Greek Trade
A 6th grade, fourth term research essay dealing with trade in ancient Greece, up to the Hellenistic Era. This is, sadly, my best work throughout my sixth grade career, considering it is replete with awkward use of language and various grammatical errors. Well, at least my grade was an A+ (198/200).

The Ascent of Man (Dupont 2000 contest original version)
In this assignment, students wrote a 700 to 1000 word essay regarding a research topic of personal interest, which was submitted to the Dupont 2000 science essay contest. My topic was a relatively new and novel theory concerning the origins of bipedalism in the earliest hominids. The essay has since undergone substantial revision, the product of which can be viewed here.

Mesoamerica Quarterly: How geography has influenced the history of Mesoamerica
This is a 9th grade, second term World History collaborative project. Only my work is presented as the other authors have not rendered their consent to reproduce their material. The assignment was to design and create a periodical assessing the impact of geography on various aspects of ancient Mesoamerica.

  Sir Thomas More
A 9th grade term 3 website project on the English humanist and saint Sir Thomas More. The biography has not yet been web-published due to an unfortunate last-minute inconvenience. We hope to put up the rest of the site as soon as possible.

An Introductory Overview of Human Evolution
This was a very lengthy 7th grade English project for second term, which I rather hastily assembled. Before visiting, please note that many of the links within the site don’t work, and if you do happen to chance upon such a page, please add “.html” to the ending. Unfortunately, I am unable to rectify the broken links and generally broken appearance of the site as I have lost the password required to access those pages. Because some of the information is out-dated or fallacious (as I have discovered upon further research), use it as a resource at your own risk!

Pulsars: A Unique Addition to Our Understanding of the Universe
A sixth grade research project which I never handed in. I misunderstood the instructions and mistakenly wrote two papers instead of one. The other was composed on the subject of Jupiter, which I have since happened to lose. Every aspect is as close to the original as HTML editing can render, including spelling and grammatical errors, as well as the lack of a works cited.
