| Chapter 13 "Kylee?" Karen asked as Kylee lifted her head up from the toliet. "Kylee, what is going on with you?" Kylee's eyes were swelled with tears. Sweat covered her face and her body was shaking. "Nothing...I...I just don't feel good," Kylee said. "No, something is going here and you're not telling me what it is," Karen said helping Kylee off the ground as hse flushed the toliet and waddled her way to the sink. "The way you throw up is when you ate something that's bad or something terribel happened. Now I know you didn't eat anything bad cause we ate the same thing, so what's going on? This is about Ivan, isn't it?" "Yeah," Kylee said as she started to cry all over again. "What did he do? He obviously did something to you that has made you so upset that you still can't get over him," Karen said. "Remember waht we told you? He isn't worth getting this upset over. He's moved on with his life so ---" "He raped me," Kylee blurted out as she started to cry harder. "What?!" Karen said shocked. "When did this happen?" "It was a couple of weeks before we broke up," Kylee started to explain as she leaned on the counter for support. "He began to touch me and I told him that I didn't feel comfortable, but he still kept going. Soem how he got my pants unzipped. I still kept telling him to stop it, but he still kept going farther until somehow I managed to losen his grip and runaway." Karen embraced her in hug as she started to cry with Kylee. "Why didn't you tell us sooner and why didn't you break up with him at that point?" Karen asked puzzled. "Well the next day he came over and apologized, telling me he wouldn't do that again," Kylee said. "Then cam Lauren who wanted to go all the way with him. So then he told me he wasn't ready for a committed relationship. He had me so tied around his finger it wasn't even funny. I was so stupid." "Look at me, Kylee,'' Karen said forcing Kylee's head up to look up at her. "You are not stupid. You are the strongest person I have ever known. Don't blame yourself for any of this. None of it was your fault. Now, it's time to move on with your life. He has made you not live your life for a year now. Look at how much you've missed." "I know," Kylee said. "I'm just so scared to give my heart away to another guy." "I know it's hard, but you have to let those gates that are blocking your heart," Karen said. "but don't let your guard down. Come on lets get back outside to practice. I know a certain guy who is dying to see you preform." This made Kylee smile a little. "Do you think he really likes me?" Kylee asked uncertain. "Of course, why do you think we all set up this quadruple date? He so likes you. He even asked me if you like him." "And what did you say?" "I told him that I didn't know, but I also warned a him about the terrible realtionship you got out of so he's well aware of that and he promised he would be sensitive so you have nothing to worry about." "Actually yeah I do." "What's that?" "What am I going to wear for the date? I wanna make a good impression,' they both started to laugh. "Now, that's the Kylee I know," Karen said hugging Kylee as they walked out of the bathroom and up to the stands to where the rest of the group was standing. "Are you okay, Kylee?" Crystal asked worried. "Yeah, I'm much better now," Kylee said smiling at Karen then she turned toward Apolo. "I'm sorry I haven't beenmyslef lately." "It's no problem," Apolo said smiling at her. "The only thing that matters now is that you're feeling better." "Ladies, lets start this practice! We haven't got that much time left," Coach Lisa said yelling as the ladies came stampeeding down to the ice rink. "Well, I gotta go. By the way, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night," Kylee said as she kissed Apolo on the cheek and then went to join the other ladies on the ice. "See you later."
