NARRATOR: Bugee:There always have been, but Igiwi and his striders have always kept the peace in the land quite peaceful*smiles*
CIMORENE: But Igiwi is feared dead!
NARRATOR: Bugee:*taken aback*No...
CIMORENE: He was missing after Galtaire fell
NARRATOR: Bugee:*shakes off fear*No, he cannot be. He will return and so shall the peace of this land
CIMORENE: I hope so..... Igiwi is a dear friend.
NARRATOR: Bugee:*looks at you like it's the first time*You knew Igiwi too? Cimorene you have truly been on an adventure
CIMORENE: And Mundin as well, before he fell.
NARRATOR: Bugee:The Elder Mundin Flet.... That was a good man*solemn*It is a true shame. Galtaire will center itself again, you'll see.
NARRATOR: Bugee:*winks*Gondor did and*snorts*That certainly looked bad did it not?
CIMORENE: *she giggles* Indeed
NARRATOR: Bugee:So Cimorene what will you do now?
CIMORENE: Go back to Gondor and meet some of my friends... then Melendar and I deserve some peace after a life of strife and pain. We will retire to the kindly West, together, and live for our love and our love alone
NARRATOR: Bugee:That is some end to the tale*wide eyed*. I heard that the baggins' and Samwise the brave went there as well.
CIMORENE: Yes, as far as the tales go
NARRATOR: *Pallando wakes up*
CIMORENE: *is sitting in the living room with Bugee*
NARRATOR: Pallando:*pleasant and smiling*Good morning*to both*
CIMORENE: *she smiles up at Pallando, relief evident on her face* Good morning.
NARRATOR: Bugee:*pleasant as well*Morning to you old one
NARRATOR: Pallando:*looks to you*Time for rest
CIMORENE: *she blinks at him, then smiles and stands, bowing to Bugee a little* I'm going to rest. Thank you for the company
NARRATOR: *he clumsily bows as well and lets you be off with pallando now to talk to*
NARRATOR: (just sleep for you then?)
CIMORENE: *heads for her room, but stops at the door and seems to think. With a little smile, she turns around and walks quietly into Melendar's room, watching him for a moment from the side of his bed*
CIMORENE: (after a small amount of cuteness)
NARRATOR: *he is meditating on the bed and sweating as well*
CIMORENE: *she blinks at him for a moment, then sits on the edge of the bed. She takes one of his hands in hers, squeezing gently*
NARRATOR: *he is instantly awake and recognizing you*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*slightly concerned*Cimorene?
CIMORENE: *she smiles softly at him* I was only worried about you. You were sweating quite profusely
NARRATOR: Melendar:*surprised*Was I? Curious...
CIMORENE: *she nods and then snuggles up next to him, closing her eyes* Go back to your meditating, love. Pallando is with Bugee now
NARRATOR: Melendar:They should have much to talk about I suppose. *smiles at you*And I could use some more rest. Have you gotten any?
CIMORENE: not yet
CIMORENE: But I'm going to if you'd just be silent *impish grin up at him, resting her head on his shoulder*
NARRATOR: *his next comment is apparently squashed as he gives into rest with you on him. He puts an arm around you before rest takes him over again*
CIMORENE: (resting time.... as long as elvenly possible)
NARRATOR: *you wake up*
NARRATOR: *melendar is still holding you though he is awake*
CIMORENE: *she blinks and looks up at him* How long have you been awake?
NARRATOR: Melendar:*smiling and whispers*That is not important
CIMORENE: *she whispers back* then what is?
NARRATOR: Melendar:I'm looking at the answer*kisses you*
CIMORENE: (awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)
NARRATOR: (hehehe, mushy mushy mushy!)
CIMORENE: (lol)
CIMORENE: *she kisses him bck, closing her eyes and leaning into him. She sighes wiht complete contentment*
NARRATOR: *and that all goes very well*
CIMORENE: (lol)
CIMORENE: (How far do they get?)
NARRATOR: (hehe)
NARRATOR: (you clearly said in the ice cave that nothing like that till marriage)
NARRATOR: (and that wasn't till they sailed away)
CIMORENE: (indeed)
NARRATOR: (so that's all you really do)
CIMORENE: (goodie)
NARRATOR: (yuppo)
CIMORENE: *she smiles up at him* How long was I asleep?
NARRATOR: Melendar:A few hours, I suspect it may be getting light out again. *concerned now*What about this little, sweet Hobbit? Do we leave him in these suddenly wild territories?
CIMORENE: *she shrugs* I don't think we can get him to leave... but he has friends in Gondor and Galtaire both. *fills him on the looooooong conversation*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*clearly impressed*Perhaps he is far more equipped for the situation than I suspected. Even so, he is a lone island in a gathering sea of darkness
CIMORENE: I say we take him with us
NARRATOR: (what was your health level at b4?)
NARRATOR: *melendar nods affirmatively to you*
CIMORENE: (jee....... Wounded)
NARRATOR: (go up 1 full lvl)
NARRATOR: (from resting in this place)
CIMORENE: (goodie)
NARRATOR: *melendar seems to sense your pain and heals you more*
NARRATOR: (1 more level)
CIMORENE: (yea!!!)
CIMORENE: (Dazed)
NARRATOR: (crazy!)
CIMORENE: (lol)
NARRATOR: Melendar:Then let us see what can be done for this Hobbit...
CIMORENE: *she stretches, a nice full body stretch that pulls a groan from her lips, and stands up* Indeed
NARRATOR: *bugee and pallando seem content to read books in eachothers presence*
CIMORENE: *holds Melendar's hand as they enter. She smiles at them all* Good morrow, my lords
NARRATOR: *they both look up*
NARRATOR: Bugee:*happy still*Good day to you both, my Elvish friends
NARRATOR: Pallando:You are both well then?
CIMORENE: Much better, thank you. Any problems while we slept?
NARRATOR: *they look at eachother and then shrug*
CIMORENE: Are Bard and my Lord Eagle all right?
NARRATOR: Bugee:*nods*We have seen to their care and both are ready to go journeying once more
CIMORENE: Wonderful!
NARRATOR: Pallando:*to you both*We may depart at any time
CIMORENE: Then we can be off for Gondor!
NARRATOR: Bugee:*to you all*I do wish you all the very best on your journey
CIMORENE: Bugee... *she looks at him* This place isn't as safe as you think it is. I fear you may be in danger here.
NARRATOR: Melendar:*to bugee*I believe staying here much longer would be a risk of your life
NARRATOR: Bugee:*non chalant*I really appreciate the offer, but I am quite happy to be here and I do not suspect I shall be leaving any time soon.
CIMORENE: But the armies of darkness seem to be massing in this place, Bugee. Why not come to Minis Tirith with us?
NARRATOR: Bugee:*sad now*Gondor is such a safe and stable place... I much rather stay here where all the excitment is and meet travelers like yourselves in need of food and rest and good company*smiling again after the last thought*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*to bugee*You realize that you put your life in danger to do this?
CIMORENE: But Bugee..... *is genuinely concerned*
NARRATOR: Bugee:*nods to melendar confidently*I do indeed
NARRATOR: Pallando:*to all*Perhaps then this is the place the Valar wish our friend to be
NARRATOR: *melendar seems confused*
CIMORENE: *she bites her lip, nodding* Most likely.... they do work in extremely strange ways. If Bugee hadn't been here, we'd never had gotten this much sleep or rest
NARRATOR: *pallando seems confident*
NARRATOR: Melendar*begrudgingly*A valid point, Cimorene
NARRATOR: *bugee is just smiling*
CIMORENE: *she finally laughs, shaking her head* We're wasting all of our times trying to convince you, aren't we, Bugee?
NARRATOR: Bugee:*nods and laughs*I'm afraid so
NARRATOR: Melendar:If that be the case, then I suppose we should be on our ways
NARRATOR: *melendar looks to you*
CIMORENE: *impulsively, she hugs the little Hobbit warmly, thanking him for the hospitality before standing and taking Melendar's hand again* Bugee, what is the fastest way to a port city?
NARRATOR: Bugee:*accepts the hug and returns it*I would suggest you head southwest
CIMORENE: southwest?
NARRATOR: Bugee:In that direction you should reach a destination faster than north or just west
CIMORENE: *she nods and looks to the men* Shall we?
NARRATOR: Pallando:I am prepared
CIMORENE: I'm ready. Who's riding where?
NARRATOR: Melendar:If it is all the same, I would be with you still*to you*
NARRATOR: Pallando:I would not object either way
CIMORENE: *she smiles gently at Melendar* It not the same..... it's MUCH better that way
NARRATOR: *he smiles now*
NARRATOR: (procede to the road then?)
CIMORENE: (indeed)
NARRATOR: *you all ride for another week and a few days the way bugee showed you*
NARRATOR: (health full)
CIMORENE: *the entire way Cimorene makes sure to cuddle up to Melendar and be extra-special cute the whole time*
NARRATOR: *you come across a port city that looks alot nicer than the last sorry city you found passage across the waves in*
NARRATOR: *he is all cute to you as well*
CIMORENE: *she smiles at the city* Much better..... hopefully your friend won't have to save me this time, Melendar
NARRATOR: Melendar:Whom?*confused*
CIMORENE: The elf woman.... your friend. She never left her name.... *describes her*
CIMORENE: *And turns just a small shade of envy* She was very lovely
NARRATOR: Melendar:*ponders some*I can remember no such person...
CIMORENE: Are you suuuuure? She was verrrrrry pretty
NARRATOR: Melendar:*shrugs*Perhaps this is just another thing I have yet to recall
CIMORENE: Hmmm
NARRATOR: Pallando:*concerned for melendar now*What in the valar did Alatar do to you?
NARRATOR: *melendar doesn't answer and just sadly looks away confused*
CIMORENE: I've been wondering the same thing.... If it were a spell, it should have ended when he died
NARRATOR: Melendar:*pretending to be fine*I am sure time will heal my wound
CIMORENE: *she squeezes his hand firmly* Either way.... I'll be here.
NARRATOR: *he squeezes back and smiles at you mouthing out thank you*
NARRATOR: Pallando:Well then we must be on our way again*sort of butting in*
CIMORENE: *she blushes* Let's get on the next ship out of here.... I just want to get back to Gondor
NARRATOR: Melendar:Yes; the sooner we return to Middle earth, the better
NARRATOR: Pallando:*nods affirmatively*I too tire of being in Ruhn
NARRATOR: (going in?)
CIMORENE: Then why are we sitting here chatting? *spurs Bard down the road with a laugh*
NARRATOR: *you all go in and are clearly looked at as outsiders by all*
CIMORENE: (Gorgeous)
NARRATOR: *the population seems to be a step or two above being all theives*
CIMORENE: *Being well used to this sort of treatment and crowd, she heads for the shipyard*
NARRATOR: *this is still no paradise by far as there are a few wooden buildings and 1 stone building besides all the shanties*
NARRATOR: *the shipyard has a couple ships docked in it*
NARRATOR: *you suddenly find yourself hit by a cabbage*
CIMORENE: ahh!
NARRATOR: woman:filthy elves! get out of our city!
CIMORENE: *stares at the woman in shock* Why do you do this?
NARRATOR: woman:*eyes slitting now and a few more similar characters about*To see that you leave before you bewitch us all
NARRATOR: *a man, presumably a husband, grabs a shovel and goes to her side*
CIMORENE: We'll leave as soon as a ship is available and we're not witches, for heaven's sake!
NARRATOR: Melendar:*bitting his tounge much but slips*You wretches should know your places...
NARRATOR: *the man goes wide eyed*
NARRATOR: woman:*to melendar*I oughtta...*anger rising*
CIMORENE: *glares at her now* Take one step towards him and you will regret it
NARRATOR: *pallandos eagle lands now*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*to you*I appreciate it cimorene*to them now harshly*but I can handle these children myself if need be
NARRATOR: *a small crowd starts to gather*
NARRATOR: *no one seems happy to see you*
NARRATOR: *weak tools populate the weaponry*
CIMORENE: *she puts a hand on his chest* No..... we should not trouble these people. Let's just get out of here as fast of possible. Then everyone wins
NARRATOR: *town conversation and noise halts now*
NARRATOR: woman:yes! begone with you!!
NARRATOR: *the man just holds up his shovel almost ready to throw it*
CIMORENE: Why do you hate us so much? *she asks curiously, trying to seem as innocent as possible*
NARRATOR: *melendar looks away with effort*
NARRATOR: woman:*to man now quietly*I think she's trying to bewitch us henry...
NARRATOR: henry:*walks close to bard now with shovel ready in 2 hand grip*Get out of here now!
NARRATOR: *melendar gets a hand to a hilt now *
CIMORENE: Asking questions is bewitching? *glares at the man* Don't touch my horse, sir
NARRATOR: Pallando:*to you both*Let these confounded innocents alone! We need none of this!
CIMORENE: *she nods and nudges Bard forward, closer to the docks*
NARRATOR: henry:*as you go*Yeah, you'd better run!
CIMORENE: *shakes her head, ignorning him*
NARRATOR: *you can hear the name "Ipal" mentioned in the crowd as you leave*
CIMORENE: *she closes her eyes tightly at the sound of the name, biting her lip hard*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*mostly to himself*That character ought to be erased along with his line...
CIMORENE: (please please please PLEASE don't let them remember Ipal's description of me)
NARRATOR: (it's all into considertion already)
CIMORENE: *she smiles just a little and leans back agianst him* I think they've got ahold of somedirty news, that's all.....
CIMORENE: (dear gods)
NARRATOR: Melendar:*to you, curious*Information is something I am short of these days. What of it?
NARRATOR: *the eagle and pallando walk with you*
CIMORENE: *she shakes her head* I'll tell you later.... I promise
NARRATOR: Melendar:*understanding*Of course
NARRATOR: *you reach the "harbormaster"*
NARRATOR: *an old man sitting at a desk on the dock*
NARRATOR: *there are 2 ships docked*
CIMORENE: *glances at Pallando, saying softly* They seem to hate us here..... we may get better luck if you talk
NARRATOR: *he nods and goes to work*
NARRATOR: Pallando:*to harbormaster happily*Good day sir. Might we be able to find passage on a vessel of yours?
NARRATOR: Harbormaster:*smiles back with wretched looking teeth and snickers some at the wizards sentences*"Passage" eh? If the price is right...
NARRATOR: Pallando:What would you ask of us?
NARRATOR: Harbormaster:*looks you all over HARD*It'll be... *seems to think better of what he'd say* A nice weapon to protect me from this rabble *points to town*after I take you and all the gold you can muster
NARRATOR: *pallando looks back to you two wide eyed and questioning*
CIMORENE: *raises an eyebrow*
CIMORENE: The weapon I'm not sure we can supply you with.... *pulls out a handful of gold coins. About ten* but is this enough?
NARRATOR: Melendar:*to you quietly*I do not know if we can suffer the loss of a blade or bow
CIMORENE: *whispers back* I know
NARRATOR: *the harbormaster says nothing and scoffs at the offer*
CIMORENE: *adds five more coins to the batch, and about twenty silvers* If I give any more, I'll never be able to afford an inn
NARRATOR: Harbormaster:You won't have the option to do so if you cannot cross this sea*winks a sly eye*
CIMORENE: We can just keep going down the seaside and leave you at the mercy of this town for even talking to us.
NARRATOR: *melendar growls*
NARRATOR: harbormaster:Are you threatening me?
CIMORENE: Not threatening. Just making a point.
NARRATOR: harbormaster:As far as I can tell i'm the only friend you have here... for the right price
NARRATOR: Harbormaster:You would sentence me to a wretched fate for my generosity then?
CIMORENE: generosity?
NARRATOR: Pallando:*yells*Take this and be done with this conversation!
CIMORENE: *blinks at Pallando*
NARRATOR: *he gives the boatman his longsword*
CIMORENE: Pallando...
NARRATOR: Pallando:*to you both*We have no time for bickering! *points behind to the crowd slowly comng nearer*
CIMORENE: *looks over her shoulder and then shoves the money at the man* Get us seaworthy
NARRATOR: *melendar looks at the wizard with new found respect*
NARRATOR: Harbormaster:*wipes his nose and then accepts all*Gladly and fast. *points to the boat on the right*Welcome aboard the black pearl
CIMORENE: *Bard jumps aboard*
NARRATOR: *just picture the black pearl as your vessel and boom, thats the ship*
NARRATOR: *pallando and eagle go too*
NARRATOR: *you are sailing in minutes and the crowd lets you part with horrid racial slurs and hand gestures*
CIMORENE: *flicks them off*
NARRATOR: *melendar smiles at your display and joins you*
NARRATOR: *pallando just sighs and walks off to his compaion as one who has failed*
CIMORENE: *watches Pallando walk away dejectedly and slides off Bard, worry in her eyes* Pallando...
NARRATOR: *he just goes to his eagle and chats with it*
NARRATOR: Melendar:He is a great one...
CIMORENE: He really is....
NARRATOR: Melendar:It is a true shame that his kind is being recalled to the west. They seem very needed here
CIMORENE: I seem to get along better with him than with the other wizards.... he just seems more friendly and personable
CIMORENE: *she nods*
NARRATOR: Harbormaster:*announcing to all*We will reach the town with no name in approximately 3 days time
CIMORENE: Town with no name?
NARRATOR: (place you met that elf and lost ipal)
CIMORENE: (gotcha)
CIMORENE: *she shivers a little* I would like to be gone from that town as quickly as possible
NARRATOR: Melendar:*curious to you*What is the matter, Cimorene?
CIMORENE: I just don't like that town.
CIMORENE: *nods ever so slightly to the captain and shakes her head*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*sours some*Fine then, keep your secrets
NARRATOR: harbormaster/captain:*to all*There is plenty of quarters for all below-decks. It should be far too long a time before we reach shore so make yourselves *coughes* comfortable
CIMORENE: *she nods at the man* If you two want to get some sleep... I'll take first watch again
NARRATOR: Melendar:*same expression*I dont' feel very tired
NARRATOR: *pallando nods solemly and leads his friend below through the wide passage down*
CIMORENE: *she smiles after Pallando and then sits on the front of the deck, watching the water run under the boat*
CIMORENE: (IS the harbormaster the only man running the ship? It should be huge)
NARRATOR: (it is and he is)
CIMORENE: (okies)
NARRATOR: *he stops steering a moment to adjust his sails and goes back to the wheel after drifting some*
CIMORENE: *keeps one eye on the captain and one on melendar* So, where might your brother be?
NARRATOR: Melendar:*looks into the water as well*I suspect he may be on my Island. If not there than probably on the western coast of middle earth
CIMORENE: *she nods* It would be nice to have him at our wedding, wouldn't it?
NARRATOR: Melendar:He loves music more than anyone i've known and loves to play it in this sort of place
NARRATOR: Melendar:*smiles back up at you*It would very much
CIMORENE: *she looks over the water* Melendar... this city of not a safe place for me. I don't want to go there
NARRATOR: Melendar:What is the matter, love? There is something about these places that is haunting you. Come into the light for me?
NARRATOR: *he goes over to you and takes your hands*
CIMORENE: *whispers the entire story to him... her foolishless, everything with Ipal, and her flight from the city with Igiwi*
NARRATOR: *his eyes widen at the appropriate times*
CIMORENE: (*chuckles*)
NARRATOR: Melendar:*stammers some*So this is... why.. they say these things to us? Because of the man that went mad if not have you?
CIMORENE: *she nods miserably* It's all my fault...
NARRATOR: Melendar:*sighs*I cannot so much blame him, of course; your beauty*brushes a hand past your cheek*is unsurpassed to me. Even the renowned Luthien of old...
NARRATOR: Melendar:*winces some*But why would you set this man on this path yourself, willingly?
CIMORENE: *she blushes five different shades of red* But the blood of the people of that village is on my hands....
NARRATOR: Melendar:*nods*I will not lie to you, you have played a great hand in this whole mess.
CIMORENE: I didn't mean for it to happen like it did. He was a good friend to me in Gondor, and I wanted someone skilled in combat
CIMORENE: and I couldn't leave him in the state he was in!
NARRATOR: Melendar:*jealous*So there was... nothing else between you two?
NARRATOR: Melendar:You say you thought I was dead...
CIMORENE: Not from my side.... unfortunetely I think he was mad for me.
NARRATOR: Melendar:That is clear, yes
CIMORENE: I have never loved anyone like I love you.... or since you, for that matter
NARRATOR: *he smiles*
NARRATOR: Melendar:That is wonderful news. But Cimorene you must understand we have no real choice now but to go through this place
CIMORENE: I know..... *shivers* But that doesn't mean I have to like it.
NARRATOR: Melendar:Maybe we shall this this... Ipal and maybe not. But we will do this together
CIMORENE: *she nods* Don't let me out of your sight in that place.... no matter what I say or do .
NARRATOR: Melendar:*confused*I swear it
NARRATOR: Melendar:You think they may try to take advantage of you with me around? *disgusted look*The vile scum...
CIMORENE: *quietly* I'm afraid they'll demand my life for those that were lost
NARRATOR: Melendar:And if they did what would you do?
CIMORENE: I don't know..... I AM responsible for those deaths
NARRATOR: Melendar:But you yourself did not commit them. It is the edge of a knife...
NARRATOR: Melendar:I think, however, that this man had a will of his own throughout this all
CIMORENE: *she crumples against his chest, tears pouring unbidden down her cheeks* I didn't want this to happen to Ipal... I was too reckless with my words and powers! It's my fault, Melendar... mine! my own!
NARRATOR: *he embraces you back*
NARRATOR: Melendar:Cimorene...Be happy that you have so few mistakes to reflect upon.
NARRATOR: Melendar:*sounding very weary*I have done more wrong than the average man will in a lifetime and this is a grudge I hold against them
NARRATOR: Melendar:*corrects*No, than they will EVER be able to do...*trails off*
CIMORENE: * she looks at him closely* Melendar.... how do you know what you've done? I don't even know everything you've done...
NARRATOR: Melendar:I only assume that all I can recall is... all that I can recall
NARRATOR: Melendar:You would like an account of my whole life? It would be an epic ballad worthy of my brothers accompanyment without a doubt; for he was along with me threw much of it
NARRATOR: Melendar:Much of it is from a time that you will never know of
CIMORENE: *she stares at him, her mouth hanging open* Melendar... you... you remember your life? I thought you couldn't remember anything beyond what I told you
NARRATOR: (i suppose we never went through all of that)
NARRATOR: Melendar:I remember... a bit more now
CIMORENE: (lol)
NARRATOR: (:-P)
CIMORENE: *she blinks at him, then smiles* That's wonderful!
NARRATOR: Melendar:It is and it is not at the same time*smiles some*
CIMORENE: *leans into him and kisses him gently* Nothing you could say would shock me or send me away
CIMORENE: (you still owe me his bio, btw)
NARRATOR: Melendar:I hope so...
NARRATOR: (YUCK so long)
NARRATOR: (but ya i know)
CIMORENE: (lol)
CIMORENE: (no, it would taka too long. Lemme sum up)
NARRATOR: Melendar:*sighs and lets it out*I slew your kinsmen many thousands of years ago...
CIMORENE: (Buttercup is marry Humperdink in little less den half a hour)
NARRATOR: (no just this part)
CIMORENE: My kinsmen?
NARRATOR: *he nods sadly*
NARRATOR: Melendar:My father had a way with words...
CIMORENE: *her eyes are very very puzzled*
NARRATOR: Melendar:Can you forgive me?
CIMORENE: Why did you slay them? And which ones were they?
NARRATOR: Melendar:*sadly* I cannot remember their names and the reason was that they would not let us *cries thinking about it*use their ships to come to this wretched land in the first place
NARRATOR: Melendar:So we took them by force and slew many of them *looks to you seriously*Oh Cimorene, it was a terror to behold and yet I did it all with my brothers and father and kin of my own
NARRATOR: Melendar:I had sworn an oath to get something back with my family and nothing would stop us...
NARRATOR: *he stops there*
CIMORENE: *she puts an arm around him, hugging him tightly* Melendar....what happened happened. And it must have happened for a reason. My ancestors were not the kindest of us... and they were arrogant. I will not say they deserved it... but perhaps it was necessary
NARRATOR: Melendar:Cimorene, I admire this*hugging back*But you did not know them or even any ancestors near them. They were good people*looks you into the eyes with that* I slew them in cold blood...
NARRATOR: Melendar:I felt you should know this after telling me of fault you have done. I shall withhold nothing to you in turn, but it could be overwhelming; for my bad deeds are numerous
CIMORENE: *meets his with clear, unhating eyes* melendar....will you slay me if your famliy bids it?
NARRATOR: Melendar:*tears in his eyes*Not now, but if it was at that time with that pledge; yes I would have!.
CIMORENE: *she wipes the tears away with her hand* Then i am glad that I am so much younger than you
NARRATOR: melendar:*smiles back and crushes into you too*As am I
NARRATOR: (good elf communication)
NARRATOR: (move on?)
CIMORENE: (surely)
NARRATOR: *you go on for 3 days and are still at sea*
NARRATOR: *some sharks can be seen and the captain does his best at the helm*
CIMORENE: I thought you said we would be there today, captain....
NARRATOR: captain:It was just an estimate. I am going more slowly than expected, I think...*
CIMORENE: *narrows her eyes* (insight check)
NARRATOR: (roll on)
CIMORENE: (12)
NARRATOR: *somehow he's lying*
CIMORENE: *Looks at Melendar and Pallando* can you tell how far we are from the shore?
NARRATOR: *neither can*
CIMORENE: *whispers* I don't trust the good Captain
NARRATOR: Pallando:*whispers back*He is not wholly trustworthy. I knew this from the beggining
NARRATOR: Melendar:*whispers*I say we stop him by force and get to shore fast
CIMORENE: But what do we do with him?
NARRATOR: Melendar:*thinks his plan through now*I know not...*thinks more*
CIMORENE: We can't just take his ship. I say we make him confess first
NARRATOR: *melendar seems almost gleeful at the prospect*
NARRATOR: Pallando:Yes let us force him into the light
CIMORENE: *she turns to the Captain, grabbing her staff* Shall we let Melendar lead? he's scariest
NARRATOR: *before a word can be uttered he goes into action*
NARRATOR: Melendar:*booms down to the man*You treacherous scum! What have you done?!
CIMORENE: *stifles a giggles at Pallando*
NARRATOR: captain:*clearly intimidated and on the wood floor now*Please do not hurt me, sir. I was only following orders..
NARRATOR: Melendar:Speak on you fool!
NARRATOR: *melendar draws his sword*
NARRATOR: captain:No!*looking at sword* I was told to sail you to a spot not far from here and to let "justice take its course"
NARRATOR: captain:*to you elves*I suppose they were all right about your kind... you're as nasty as they say...*cries and curls up in a ball*
CIMORENE: Who gave your these orders?
NARRATOR: captain:*to you managing in his terror*A man with black armor
NARRATOR: Captain:*continueing*He said he was with the anti-elf leauge
CIMORENE: The WHAT?
NARRATOR: captain:the A-N-T-I E-L-F L-E-A-G-U-E
CIMORENE: What were your exact orders?
NARRATOR: captain:*relaying*lead them to *some nautical chart term* and we will make sure justice is done upon them all there
CIMORENE: How did they know where we were?
NARRATOR: captain:I don't know! He found me!! Please don't kill me....*wimpers*
CIMORENE: When
?
NARRATOR: captain:I got your descriptions weeks ago and you certainly are not hard to mistake. But *points to melendar*you were not included in their list
CIMORENE: Wait.... so you were told to look for me and Pallando?
NARRATOR: *he nods "yes"*
CIMORENE: But Pallando's not an elf!
NARRATOR: Captain:Please! I don't know these people!...
NARRATOR: *he passes out*
CIMORENE: *glares down at the pathetic little man and searches him for her gold*
NARRATOR: Melendar:You would steal from him? Is he evil?
CIMORENE: No. I'm getting back my money because he's not doing what I paid him for.
NARRATOR: *melendar shrugs*
CIMORENE: *leaves him all the silvers*
CIMORENE: well, gentlemen? What should we do?
NARRATOR: Pallando:Can anyone here sail?
NARRATOR: Melendar:Cimorene you are Sindar, are you not?
CIMORENE: *blinks quite a few times*
CIMORENE: (Can I sail?)
NARRATOR: (sea craft check)
CIMORENE: (6)
NARRATOR: *you barely feel confident*
NARRATOR: *the water is very slow and so are the winds*
CIMORENE: I can try.... but I'll most likely send us to the bottom
NARRATOR: Pallando:Do we even know where we are in these waters?
CIMORENE: *cracks her knuckles* I want to know more about this group. Others of our race could be in grave danger
NARRATOR: Pallando:*idea*I will fly above to see where to go...*goes off to find the eagle*
CIMORENE: That's a great idea!
NARRATOR: Melendar:I do appreciate your bravery but I would imagine we would be greatly outnumbered and most likely on a far less sturdy craft...
CIMORENE: true
CIMORENE: We should avoid this group and just go on to the city with no name
NARRATOR: Melendar:*sighs*Yes, that may be best
NARRATOR: END
