NARRATOR: Melendar:No, I want to go off on my own for a time.  See what this place has to offer.  I will return by nightfall.

NARRATOR: *he turns to walk off*

CIMORENE: *she nods*  All right.... be careful...

CIMORENE: Melendar?

NARRATOR: melendar:Yes?

CIMORENE: *she gets up and walks up to him, smiling a little.  She reaches up and kisses him on the cheek*  Thank you for waking me up.

NARRATOR: Melendar:*blushes seemingly uncontrollably*You are welcome.  *regains his composure*I will see you in time.

NARRATOR: *he walks off*

CIMORENE: *she watches him for a moment, then shakes her head before walking back towards the Elder's house*

CIMORENE: *she glances towards the town as she walks and changes her mind about the elder's house.  She dons her dark cloak and pulls the hood over her hair, then strides purposefully towards the town*

NARRATOR: (you want a check?)

CIMORENE: (surely..... *glances around for her book, then swears and puts on her coat*  brb)

NARRATOR: (hehe, take your time)

CIMORENE: (*cheers when she sees that it's lying on the couch*  What kinda check?)

NARRATOR: (search, observe, sense power, renown, appraise, inquire, ya know it's up to you)

CIMORENE: ((*swears for real and goes to get her dice*)

CIMORENE: (b)

NARRATOR: (k)

CIMORENE: (insight for the best place to ask questions about the wizard)

CIMORENE: (12)

NARRATOR: (did you read the description for the skill?)

CIMORENE: (......no)

NARRATOR: (i would)

CIMORENE: (ah..... nevermind about that check)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: (save it for later)

CIMORENE: (I'm just gonna walk around town and explore for a few minutes.  Take the main road and all, through any kind of shops)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: *as you go down the hill you notice the multiple gates, there seem to be 7.  the hill of the city goes down a long way*

NARRATOR: *the levels of the city are carved out of solid rock*

CIMORENE: *she keeps her cloak drawn around her so that the violet robes are hidden*

NARRATOR: *in sheer slopes to seperate each level from another, the whole place seems a great undertaking of labor to build along with white buildings*

CIMORENE: (Does this city remind me a lot of Minis Tirith?)

NARRATOR: (A HELL OF A LOT)

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: (like they stole the blueprints and did a shottier job)

NARRATOR: 9;-))

CIMORENE: *She stifles a small chuckle and begins to look for item shops and weapon shops*

NARRATOR: (btw make a conceal check for your robes and all)

CIMORENE: (10)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: *you scout out a sign that is in 2 languages*

NARRATOR: *1 is in gibberish*

NARRATOR: *the other is in sindar*

NARRATOR: *it says "arms"*

CIMORENE: *she walks in calmly, and begins admiring the wares*

NARRATOR: (appraise)

CIMORENE: (nope, just admiring.  Please descirbe the items, then I'll appraise certain ones.  Specifically swords)

NARRATOR: *there are a great deal of spears and a couple scimitars*

NARRATOR: *some small bows*

NARRATOR: *a few small shields*

NARRATOR: *only light armors*

NARRATOR: *maces*

NARRATOR: *hammers and whips*

NARRATOR: *javelins*

CIMORENE: (no swords besides scimtars?)

NARRATOR: (no, no longswords to be found)

CIMORENE: (hmmmm....)

CIMORENE: (Does Sense Power work on magic items?)

NARRATOR: (sure)

NARRATOR: (roll high)

CIMORENE: ((16)

NARRATOR: *you feel a couple lesser seeming enchanted weapons*

CIMORENE: *she sighs and glances around the room for anything else that may catch her fancy*

NARRATOR: *you find a rack of boots*

CIMORENE: Ooooo!  *she hurries over to inspect the boots, particularly looking for some violet ones*

NARRATOR: (now you're apprasing)

CIMORENE: (yes)

CIMORENE: (9)

NARRATOR: *to you they all seem... nice*

CIMORENE: (Any violet ones?)

NARRATOR: *the colors range from brown, black, green, red, and violet*

CIMORENE: (how many violets?)

NARRATOR: *4 pairs*

CIMORENE: *she squeals softly in delight and ets about finding a pair that fit her*

NARRATOR: *you notice a lot of pairs of each color*

NARRATOR: (roll 4 d6)

NARRATOR: (give me the individual scores please)

CIMORENE: (6,4,4,5)

NARRATOR: (i'd take the 6)

CIMORENE: (ok)

NARRATOR: *these boots fit like a glove and feel quite comfortable and sure of each step*

NARRATOR: *there is a price tag on them you cannot comprehend*

CIMORENE: *she calls for the storekeeper in Sindan*  Excuse me, can I have some help?

NARRATOR: *he comes over without heistation*

NARRATOR: keeper:yes madam? *in sindar*

CIMORENE: *she smiles up at him*  How much are these?

NARRATOR: keeper:ah yes, the boots*stares with pride at the footware*.

NARRATOR: keeper: twenty tharni

CIMORENE: *she blinks twice at him*  Tharni?

NARRATOR: keeper:*looking very confused*of course

CIMORENE: *she stares at the boots for a moment, then sighs resignedly as she puts them back on the shelf*  You must forgive me... I have no local currency

NARRATOR: keeper:*truly sad for you*I am very sorry madam.  But they will be here when you do

CIMORENE: *she smiles at him and stands*  Don't worry about it.  If you get a better deal, go ahead and take it.  Is there a Change Master in this town?

NARRATOR: keeper:i've never had to deal with such matters and sadly, do not know.  and yes if a better comes along i will indeed sell them*sincere wink*

CIMORENE: *she smiles and bows a little before heading back out onto the street*

NARRATOR: *you're on the street now*

NARRATOR: *it's getting dark*

NARRATOR: *lamps are being lit all around*

NARRATOR: *all around the winding path*

CIMORENE: *seeing the lamps being lit, she decides to head back towards Igiwi's hut, just to be safe*

NARRATOR: (hehe)

NARRATOR: *you are uneventful getting back*

NARRATOR: *Igiwi is already back*

CIMORENE: *she smiles at Igiwi*  I am in need of a Change Master... is there one in town?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*stares up from something in his lap*Change master?  Yes, but I doubt for your money out here

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*sudden thought*Perhaps you could barter with it?

CIMORENE: hmmmmm

CIMORENE: I'm not sure.  It is gold, after all....

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Yes*unsure*.  It is just an idea(remember he speaks in sindar too)

CIMORENE: (I know)

NARRATOR: (cool)

CIMORENE: *she smiles and waves her hand as she sits down on the floor near the window*  It's not a big deal.  I just found some boots I liked, that's all.  But isn't Melendar back yet?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Boots eh?  Galtaire is renowned for such an item.  No, I have not seen Melendar.

CIMORENE: Hmph.  Just like him to wander around after dark...

NARRATOR: *igiwi goes back to tinkering with his items*

CIMORENE: Whatcha got there?

CIMORENE: (go ahead and post.... *runs for the Bathroom*)

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*looks up again*Just a few items from some old friends.  I plan on going back out into the plans sooner than later and they wanted to send me off properly.

NARRATOR: *you see a bottle of wine, some knives, leather gloves, and toys*

NARRATOR: *by "toys" i mean instruments*

NARRATOR: (still there?)

CIMORENE: (b)

NARRATOR: (cool okay you're up)

CIMORENE: (Thanks)

CIMORENE: *she smiles*  Leaving me so soon?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:I wasn't under the impression that I needed to stay.  *he's confused a little now*

CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times and changes the subject*  Melendar and I may be here for a while.... the Elder confuses me with his answers.... and there's something wrong with this city

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*thinks a moment*It appears your obstacles continue even in Galtaire; that is a true shame.

CIMORENE: *she goes quiet, and stares out the window and at the stars, her face turning almost sad as she replies quietly*  My obstacles have followed me everywhere since I was born, my friend...

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*you can only hear him from his perch*Oh?  I know so little of you.

CIMORENE: *her voice continues softly as her mind stretches back in the mists of her memory*  I have lost so many people, Igiwi, for one reason or another.  Melendar was once a respected person by me, then we turned to hatred.  Then, the one man who ever taught me anything worth knowing betrayed all the peoples of Middle Earth to join with Sauron the Deceiver, leaving us to battle each other....

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*pauses a bit and when he does speak it is very carefully* That is quite a past indeed.  The land of the west has more of a rocky history than I would have thought.

CIMORENE: *she glances at him now, shaken from her thoughts*  That battle is long past, now.  The people of Middle Earth are free... and I intend to keep it that way

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*wistfully*A dream I have for my people and that is why I will be going out again soon.  To protect them as long as I can.

CIMORENE: From what?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Did you not fight what I fought?  There is so much more that we did not find.  Things in the forest and... *pauses for a time*the mountains.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Bluntly, Cimorene, I am surprised we made it back alive for such a distance

CIMORENE: *she looks away again*  Igiwi.... what did you feel when the Elder sent you to find the "Shadow of the West"?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:The truth?

CIMORENE: Yes

NARRATOR: Igiwi:I felt hope *voice going slightly grim*, that we would be saved somehow.  I was hopeful that you would do something extrodinary and you have proved yourself beyond a normal man, yes.  But still...

CIMORENE: *she chuckles softly to herself*  But I disappointed you?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:That is just it Cimorene; you have neither disappointed me nor filled me with the hope I should have.  *his face is uncertain*

CIMORENE: I have done nothing truly out of the ordinary... nothing that truly frightens you or awes you, or shocks you.  Is that it?  *her voice is soft, still sad, no hint of malice or flatness*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Yes that is it.  *chuckles a little*Though surviving that troll wound was something extrodinary.

CIMORENE: Magic and power are not something to be thrown around lightly, Igiwi.  Most times, discretion is the best alternative.  Magic is fading in the world... the elves are gone, and the great wizards are all but spent.  The trees cry out as they die, cut by men and orcs and others, but we cannot hear them.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:A grim world it is.  But you can see my position can you not?  How do I know what you really can do?  How do I know that you really are this person?

CIMORENE: *she sighs*  YOu require proof of what I am?  That I may be able to stop the evil being from spreading his evil into your town and letting it fester?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Yes, I cannot sense things as you do.  You yourself do not even seem certain if you are the one the Elder speaks of.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:It is irrelivant.  I shall do what I  know I  can do again soon in the plains...

CIMORENE: *she stands and lets the cloak fall to the ground, revealing her violet hair and long robes.  She turns to him and opens her violet eyes*  I will do what you ask of me, Igiwi... I will show you my proof.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*a half smile on his face*Proof for me will be in more than a trick.  You must prover yourself to be by doing something meaningful.

NARRATOR: (some typos there...)

CIMORENE: Name it.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*seems to respect your taking this on with no warning*Very well.  There is a beast I have been trying to stop from killing all it can in the northern forest.  Farms have been destroyed by it and it comes closer to Galtaire with each sighting.  I have not yet been able to find it and neither have my companions.

CIMORENE: (If it's a dragon, you die next, jon)

NARRATOR: Igiwi:If we were to go and destroy it, this would go some way.  If we were to go and you yourself dealt with it, that would give me some true confidence.

NARRATOR: (hehe)

NARRATOR: Igiwi:You see the way the few reports tell it, this beast is beyond us all...

CIMORENE: Any actual sightings?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Very few as I say.  It is supposedly somewhat taller than a troll would be and stronger as well.  But the strange part is that it is swift at the same time.  So swift that there is little more that can be said for it besides how fast it could kill the friends of those poor souls...

CIMORENE: hmmmm

CIMORENE: *she thinks for a moment, then nods*  We will go, and we will take your Elder and Melendar with us.  Then you can all watch and see what you think.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*suddenly realizing*There was one more thing.  It mocked the survivors as if it let them run.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*stops talking suddenly as you accept on such terms*You will?

CIMORENE: "mocked"?  You mean, it spoke?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Again that is all the information I could find.

CIMORENE: *she smiles at Igiwi*  What good are friends if you can't prove yourself to them.  We ride in the morning.  *she heads for the door*  I need to see the Elder about this.  Will you watch for Melendar?

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*Ignoring the beast now*You mean to prove yourself and Melendar?

NARRATOR: *igiwi is terribly taken aback with no check needed*

CIMORENE: No.  Melendar is as one crippled.  He remembers not who he is, or what he is.  He needs to come with us to try and remember what he was, not to fight.  This creature is mine.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*smiles as a warrior to you*then you go to the elder.  I will stay for Melendar.

CIMORENE: *she nods and ducks out of the house, pausing just long enough to grab her staff*

NARRATOR: *it is twilight now*

CIMORENE: *she heads straight for the Elder's house*

NARRATOR: *the tower seems very inviting with the windows all aglow*

NARRATOR: *you climb for that long time once more in this seeming replica of Orthanc*

NARRATOR: *you reach the elders door under guard*

NARRATOR: *there are two guards with spears at the door*

CIMORENE: *she shivers again at the reminder of that evil place, and marches right up to the guards*  I need to see the Elder.

NARRATOR: guard1:Sorry ma'am but he is in a council at the moment.

NARRATOR: guard2:a reginal meeting of sorts, you could say.

CIMORENE: *she blinks*  About what?

NARRATOR: both guards:We aren't privaleged to know.

NARRATOR: *theirs spears criss-cross the door*

CIMORENE: *she nods and moves to lean against the wall, her staff beside her.  She closes her eyes and begins humming to herself*

NARRATOR: *it is a half hour later when the doors open*

CIMORENE: No need fOr violence, lads.  I'm not going to bust in the door.

CIMORENE: *hasn't moved*

NARRATOR: *the elder says goodbyese to 8 other men and women*

NARRATOR: Elder:*to you after seeing you*Cimorene is it?  What brings you here so late?

NARRATOR: Elder:Come in, come in.  *he waves the guards away*

NARRATOR: *the guards leave on the order*

CIMORENE: *she smiles at the guards, waving, then follows the Elder in*  Good evening, my lord.

NARRATOR: Mundin:I keep saying not to call me that, but if you insist...

NARRATOR: Mundin:Good evening Cimorene.

CIMORENE: Mundin... *she seems very quiet*  Are you sure that I'm the "Shadow of the West" and I'm supposed to save this city?

NARRATOR: Mundin:Ah now we come to it.

NARRATOR: Mundin:I know little of that truth.  Igiwi seemed sure enough before and I trusted him.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:But what I saw was an Elf cloaked in the night and holding a staff.

CIMORENE: He's not sure.  That's what worries me.  He is.... disappointed in me.  For my lack of.... what is the word... oomph.

NARRATOR: Mundin:Is he now?  Well perhaps in time he can be remotivated but if I know Igiwi, he will be happy enough saving us on his own as he has always done.

CIMORENE: I have agreed to prove to him that I am worthy enough to safe this city on my own.  We leave at dawn to hunt the creature that has been burning your fields and killing your farmers.  And when we find it, I will dispatch it.

NARRATOR: Mundin:*taken aback* You mean to kill that thing yourself and bring Igiwi along to show him your strength?

CIMORENE: *she nods*  And you as well, if you'll come.

NARRATOR: *he thinks for a time*

CIMORENE: And hopefully being in that much danger will jog Melendar's memory a litle

NARRATOR: Mundin:I will go if I can take a contingent of guards with me.

NARRATOR: Mundin:This could be the trap the enemy is trying for...

NARRATOR: Mundin:and yet I am curious to see you do this myself as well.  Perhaps your friend will remember something from this as well...

CIMORENE: I don't mind.  But the creature has to be mine.  Understand?

NARRATOR: Mundin:Yes, you alone will try to slay it.  If you fail you will die then.  Is that acceptable?

CIMORENE: *she thinks back to an old tale the elves tell about a funny dwarf during the Second War of the Ring*  Large amount of danger... small chance of success... what are we waitin for?

NARRATOR: *mundin waits as you...........  recolect*

CIMORENE: *she grins at him*  Good old Gimli..... Will you be ready at dawn, Mundin?

NARRATOR: Mundin:*nods happily at you calling by his name*I will be and so shall the others be

NARRATOR: (you accept the terms of you lose you die?!)

CIMORENE: *she stops for a moment before she heads out the door*  YOu did mean that if I failed to kill it, the monster would kill me, yes?

NARRATOR: Mundin:No, if you fail to kill the monster then we shall let it kill you.

NARRATOR: Mundin:You accept?

NARRATOR: Mundin:Or were there other terms you desired?

CIMORENE: *she stares at him a moment*

NARRATOR: (you have been kinda vauge on that point)

CIMORENE: All I care about is stopping the creature.  If it kills me because I'm not strong enough, then so be it.  But if you simply let it kill me, then you must still kill it.  I need no one's approval, for I know my own name.  I'm just doing this to make you feel better.

NARRATOR: Mundin:Very well.

CIMORENE: *she winks at him as she strides out the door*  If I should return.... we will have tea together, yes?

NARRATOR: Mundin:*laughs a little*If you'd like to.

CIMORENE: *she smiles brightly and the child who was once laughingly called "Cimmy" peeks out as she moves away*

CIMORENE: *she heads back to Igiwi's hut, her mind flowing with ideas on what this creature would be that she hardly feels the road beneath her*

NARRATOR: (observe check)

CIMORENE: (16)

NARRATOR: (btw there are all kinds of bonus' we haven't been using affinity ones...)

CIMORENE: (huh?)

NARRATOR: (conceal is an affinity bonus to observe)

CIMORENE: (lovely)

NARRATOR: *you see melendar walking towards you in thought before you walk into him*

CIMORENE: *stops abruptly*  Oh!

NARRATOR: *Melendar suddenly looks up and trips over himself to the ground*

CIMORENE: *she stifles a giggles and offers him her hand*  That looked painful.

NARRATOR: Melendar:*sounding surprised*It actually wasn't...*takes your hand gratefully.*

NARRATOR: *he smiles all the same*

CIMORENE: *she pulls him up, smiling back*  What were you thinking about so hard?

NARRATOR: Melendar:Just what I am going to do now.  You don't even know what you are going to do.

CIMORENE: I'm going to hunt down some monster to make these people believe that I'm strong enough to save their town tomorrow morning.

NARRATOR: Melendar:*surprised*That sounds like it would be quite a task indeed.

NARRATOR: Melendar:Would you be alright if I were to join you?

CIMORENE: *she stares at him for a moment*  I have agreed that if I fail against the creature, the people of this town will let it kill me.

NARRATOR: Melendar:*a sudden rush of emotion and he stifles a cry of some sort as he contorts to rage then back to normal*Why would you do such a thing?...

CIMORENE: Because they need to understand.

NARRATOR: Melendar:What do they need to understand?

CIMORENE: *she closes her eyes a moment*  That the "Shadow of the West" will not fail them.  I will not let this city fall.  There's something.... about this city.  It's almost perfect, and the people are kind.  I won't let them die.  And Igiwi wants to beleive that I can save them.  I want to make him feel better.

NARRATOR: Melendar:*entranced*Let me go with you then.  I want to see him feel better when you pass this test.

CIMORENE: *she looks surprised for a moment, then smiles brightly*  For the first time in my life, Melendar.... I'd be glad for you to come with me.

NARRATOR: Melendar:*clearly thinking about all he's heard of himself with pain**smiles afterwards*Then I would be gald to joing you.

NARRATOR: (join)

CIMORENE: (lol.... getting tired, jonny?)

NARRATOR: (I'm good)

NARRATOR: (we can stop if you'd like)

CIMORENE: I've spilled my guts.... it's your turn now.  What's haunting your steps that you cannot even see where you are going?

CIMORENE: (I'm peachy)

NARRATOR: Melendar:Me?  I have just been thinking.  I am seeing many things, Cimorene.  It is like reading a story

NARRATOR: Melendar:*pauses*A terrible one.  The worst realisation is that I think this story is my own.

NARRATOR: Melendar:I think there is something I have left to do as well.  There is something knawing at my soul that I cannot place.

CIMORENE: *she listens quietly, letting him let it all out*

NARRATOR: Melendar:It is like there is a voice in me trying to speak but I cannot make it out.

NARRATOR: Melendar:I have seen myself killing my own kind...  I have seen myself trying to force a woman to do my will.

NARRATOR: Melendar:I have seen myself killing.  Cimorene I am a murderer*he hides his face*

NARRATOR: Melendar:Yes, I have seen the power that is in me you spoke of but I think I have used it for wrong.  Hardly ever for right, and only because I could!

NARRATOR: Melendar:But still, being around you is the only peace I have from myself.  *smiles with tears in his eyse*Being with you is a calm in my storm.

NARRATOR: Melendar:That is all...

CIMORENE: *she moves up and gently wipes the tears from his eyes, offering him a small smile*  It's a sad story.... but I am willing to wager that the hero in the story isn't finished telling his story.  He may have been evil before, but I don't see that man anymore.  The man who has haunted my steps is not gone, Melendar.  You are not gone.  You're simply learning to live again.

NARRATOR: *it's hard to read his face now...*

NARRATOR: *though those old wrinkles seem to be loosening up a lot more lately*

CIMORENE: *she pokes him gently in the nose*  Hey!

NARRATOR: *he is absolutely puzzled*

CIMORENE: I'm starving!  If I'm going to die tomorrow, then I'm going to die on a full stomach!  You're taking me to dinner!

NARRATOR: Melendar:*reluctantly*I am?

NARRATOR: Melendar:*from knowwhere in a framiliar voice*I am

NARRATOR: Melendar:*back to the new version again*Then lets go shall we?

CIMORENE: *she stops and looks at him, then smiles*  Yes.

NARRATOR: *eventually you find a place on the third level that's open*

NARRATOR: (skip the dinner?)

CIMORENE: (Unless something cools happens, yes)

NARRATOR: (ya nothing really)

NARRATOR: *you sleep that night with no interuptions*

NARRATOR: *melendar wakes you up*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*smiling*Good morning Cimorene.  Could be brighter, but morning non-the-less.

CIMORENE: *she is awake instantly, and smiling at him*  Is the sun shining at all?

NARRATOR: Melendar:It is behind some clouds at the moment.

CIMORENE: Good enough for me.  I'd hate to die on a cloudy day.

NARRATOR: *he chuckles*

CIMORENE: *she stands, shaking out her long hair*

CIMORENE: Melendar.... make me a promise?

NARRATOR: Melendar:Yes? What do you wish of me?

CIMORENE: If this thing kills me, kill it.  Dont think about it.... just kill it.

CIMORENE: (It better NOT be a dragon)

NARRATOR: Melendar:*smiles the grim smile of a tortured soul*If that time comes, believe me, nothing will stop me from it.

NARRATOR: (but dragons are fun;-))

CIMORENE: *she smiles at him, then winks*  Where's Igiwi?

NARRATOR: Melendar:*points to the still sleeping Igiwi*I think these men sleep too much*smiles*

CIMORENE: *she chuckles and heads over to the sleeping man and shakes him gently*   Igiwi...

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*awakens in a moment and has a knife out in seconds*Who?!

NARRATOR: *he quickly stops himself*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*to you with remorse*I apologize Cimorene, old habits you see...

CIMORENE: *she chuckles a little*  You can't kill me yet, Igiwi.  It's not in your job description.

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*smiles as he sits up and rubs his eyes*I suppose not.  But the way you tell it, dying won't be on the menu tonight.

NARRATOR: (break time?  I have to move my car...)

CIMORENE: *she grins*  I hope not.  But let's go find this farmer-eating pain in the neck so I can have dinner.

CIMORENE: (Sure)

NARRATOR: (cool, i'll meet back soon)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: (still there?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

CIMORENE: (*tosses him back in character*)

NARRATOR: (on with the show?)

NARRATOR: *you, igiwi, melendar, mundin, and about 25 guards go off in search of this thing*

NARRATOR: *you are to find it yourself*

NARRATOR: *start looking, you are pointed north of the city*

CIMORENE: *she glaneces at Mundin*  Do you have any information about this thing?

NARRATOR: Mundin:Just that it is.  I have felt it twice only.  It is quick to hide itself and very vigelant.

CIMORENE: hmmm......... *she closes her eyes*

NARRATOR: (also, are you fine with your order abilities and all that?)

CIMORENE: Is is magical in any way?

CIMORENE: (almost)

CIMORENE: (yse)

NARRATOR: Mundin:I believe it is in a way, yes.

CIMORENE: (I took away the point of health and the singing ability.  Then I took wordly power and the staff picks.)

CIMORENE: (The staff picks I haven't taken all the way yet.  I wanted the shielding one, and the attacking one)

NARRATOR: (that one is 2 staff picks)

CIMORENE: (I know)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: (what next?)

NARRATOR: (3 points 2 go)

CIMORENE: (the attacking one?)

NARRATOR: (smiting; 1 pick.  extrodinary success attacking w/ your staff)

CIMORENE: (lovely)

CIMORENE: (and what is left?)

NARRATOR: (+2 to inspire/intimidate)

NARRATOR: (small bound spell)

NARRATOR: (scribe spell)

NARRATOR: (endurance things 2 of them)

NARRATOR: (1 pick left)

NARRATOR: (2 i mean)

CIMORENE: (What are the endurances?)

NARRATOR: (cut the time in half to restore 3 weariness levels a day)

NARRATOR: (ignore all weariness levels for one action once a day)

CIMORENE: (I want that one)

CIMORENE: (actually, both of them.  And the Inspire/Intimidate)

NARRATOR: (k you have to ;cast a spell or achieve a superior success with any skill.  btw the spell casting has to be at -4 or lower to manifest)

CIMORENE: (ok)

NARRATOR: (inspire/intimidate one needs extrodinary success with an inspire/intimidate test)

NARRATOR: (k back to cimorenes gambit...)

CIMORENE: (I wish I had a Gambit)

NARRATOR: (hehe)

CIMORENE: (Sense Power)

NARRATOR: (roll on)

CIMORENE: (18)

NARRATOR: *you can barely feel a malice in the distance*

NARRATOR: *a cold thing*

CIMORENE: (.... it better not be a Hellrog either)

NARRATOR: (that'd be hella cool;-))

CIMORENE: (Jonny..... my character is NOT strong enough for a Hellrog, and you know it)

NARRATOR: (i know what i'm doing laura and you got yourself into this btw...)

CIMORENE: (grrrrr)

CIMORENE: (Fine, but if you kill her just because you won't change your beast a little, I'm gonna get mad)

NARRATOR: (shouldn't be a problem then)

NARRATOR: (game on then)

CIMORENE: (ok)

CIMORENE: *she spurs her horse forward, urging him softly in Elven*

NARRATOR: *everyone follows at about 50 feet except for Melendar*

NARRATOR: *he's right next to you*

CIMORENE: *she smiles at him as she rides*

NARRATOR: (so you are basically gonna ride till you get to where you felt it?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: *you ride for about an hour outside of galtaire*

NARRATOR: *the sky is still cloudy*

NARRATOR: *the air close*

NARRATOR: *you come upon the spot where you felt the presence before*

CIMORENE: (BOOYA!)

CIMORENE: (BOXCARS)

NARRATOR: *you feel that it is hiding in some brush off to your right*

NARRATOR: *you can feel the exact place*

CIMORENE: *she waves them all back, and shares one long look with melendar*

NARRATOR: *he looks at you just the same way*

NARRATOR: *and reluctantly lets you walk*

CIMORENE: *she slides off Bard and hands his reins to Melendar*  Take care of him

NARRATOR: Melendar:*sincerity filling his words*I shall

NARRATOR: *the two walk off to the crowd*

CIMORENE: *she draws her longsword and her staff, then strides towards the brush*  There's no need to hide.... I already know that you're there.

NARRATOR: (observe check)

NARRATOR: *you see what looks horribly framiliar crouched behind a couple bushes*

NARRATOR: *a cloaked figure all in black...*

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: *the screech comes out at you all*
