NARRATOR:  Mundin:How do we kill him?

NARRATOR: Mundin:Melendar couldn't

CIMORENE: Perhaps Melendar never tried.

NARRATOR: Mundin:It is unkown

CIMORENE: We know nothing of that battle because it was wiped from his memory.

NARRATOR: Mundin:Only the fragments I found, it was with our enemy and Melendar ended it one way or another.  But he did not beat his foe

CIMORENE: Melendar was powerful..... almost more powerful than the legendary Lady Galadriel..... but we have something he didn't.  One strong, powerful thing.

NARRATOR: Mundin:What?

CIMORENE: We are not alone.

NARRATOR: Mundin:What then?  we charge them?  It would be a massacre

CIMORENE: No.  We hold them for as long as we can, make Ruth show himself, then take him down.  If the battle goes on and he does not appear..... I will find him.

NARRATOR: Mundin:Do so if you wish, but I would have you with us as long as possible

CIMORENE: *she nods*

NARRATOR: Mundin:If he has disciples we will have to worry about their attempts

CIMORENE: INdeed.  I hope Melendar was able to get through to the Elves.

NARRATOR: Mundin: As do i...

CIMORENE: *she stares out the window at the approaching army*  It will begin soon....

NARRATOR: Mundin:*looks out*So it begins, the great battle of our time

NARRATOR: *the skies grow rapidly darker as the approaching storm engulfs the sun*

NARRATOR: Mundin:You will be with me on the wall?

CIMORENE: *she takes a deep breath and nods at Mundin, with a grim smile*  For as long as I can, friend

NARRATOR: Mundin:*determined*Very well then*looks off, just waiting now*

NARRATOR: (observe)

CIMORENE: *she closes her eyes and begins whispering in High elven*  Graceful Valar who awtch us from above, be with us this day and help us push back the tide of evil once more.  Belegar.... Melendar.... Igiwi.... Marr.... please be with me...

CIMORENE: (17)

NARRATOR: *you see in the distance an odd situation*(typing)

NARRATOR: *you see a nazgul steed flying in with the army but instead of coming to the lead, it grabs a troll and throws it into a group of men, then it goes after more...*

NARRATOR: *arrows start raining up at it as there is some disorientation in the army*

CIMORENE: *she stammers for a few minutes, then rubs her eyes, then stammers again*  Wha.... who.... why...?!

NARRATOR: Mundin:I have no idea

NARRATOR: *a bolt of lightning strikes out from below and the beast falls dead onto even more men*

NARRATOR: Mundin:This is good fortune

CIMORENE: Welll.... at least we know Liun RUth really is there

NARRATOR: Mundin:Not neccesarily, as you know we are disciples of our masters.  He may have trained others like us

CIMORENE: *she nods*  Good point....

NARRATOR: *minutes later things seem under control again and the army before you is not quite as imposing as it was before, there have been a great amount of casualties.  The ladders and siege towers are coming close now and the battering rams are being readied.  The men of Galtaire begin to fire arrows now as the clouds come overheard*

NARRATOR: *you sense magic in the air, a framiliar feeling*

NARRATOR: *like sundering being cast*

CIMORENE: (Can we dispell stuff?)

NARRATOR: (ya, cast the spell yourself)

CIMORENE: *she raises her arms and casts Sundering*

CIMORENE: (This is a good omen.... BOXCARS, BABY!!)

NARRATOR: (after you cast it, it is an opposed bearing test)

NARRATOR: (the winner gets what they want)

NARRATOR: (this only works with spells you know)

CIMORENE: (13)

CIMORENE: (Yup)

NARRATOR: *dispelled*

NARRATOR: *a ladder comes up right in front of you*

CIMORENE: *she glares at the army, then at the ladder*

CIMORENE: (how big a ladder?)

NARRATOR: *looks to be wooden, and 5ft across*

CIMORENE: (Too big to push)

NARRATOR: (strength check)

NARRATOR: (depends)

NARRATOR: (it'd be tough)

CIMORENE: (13)

NARRATOR: *mundin notices what you're doing and helps*

NARRATOR: *together you both manage to get the ladder back down*

NARRATOR: (lets do round 1)

CIMORENE: (indeed)

NARRATOR: (1 stamina test seeing how you aren't doing much of anything right now)

CIMORENE: (16)

NARRATOR: *you feel invigorated*

CIMORENE: (lovely)

NARRATOR: (roll me 2d6 and give me both individual numbers)

CIMORENE: (6, 1)

NARRATOR: *you are hit by 1 arrow*

NARRATOR: *does 8*

CIMORENE: (great)

NARRATOR: (that's pretty good under the circumstances)

NARRATOR: (are you wearing armor?)

CIMORENE: (uuummmm..... damn was I?)

CIMORENE: (*checks the transcript*)

NARRATOR: (i don't think so)

CIMORENE: (Shiiiitt..... that was SO stupid of me)

NARRATOR: (you can get off the wall or find a dead mans armor)

CIMORENE: (We'll see)

NARRATOR: *mundin casts guard spell on you giving you a +3 defense for 13 minutes*

NARRATOR: *no, 23*

CIMORENE: *she grins her thanks at him, and demands that he teach her the spell after this is all over*

NARRATOR: *he says he may if that time comes*

NARRATOR: *overall over the hour things go well for galtaire, the ladders and towers are being repulsed very well and the main gate is holding fine*

NARRATOR: *dispell sunder*

CIMORENE: (It's cast with a 15.... and my bearing test is... (12)

NARRATOR: *tie roll again on bearing*

NARRATOR: (uh oh)

NARRATOR: *roll*

CIMORENE: (11)

NARRATOR: (i advise a point of courage)

CIMORENE: (it's my last one!!!)

NARRATOR: (that or the wall suffers a sundering spell)

CIMORENE: (Courage point..... used)

NARRATOR: (it is your call, just saying the options)

CIMORENE: (It's used)

NARRATOR: (oh)

NARRATOR: (you'd have full courage going in, so you have 3 left actually)

CIMORENE: (Why do I have full courage?)

NARRATOR: (for staying for the battle)

NARRATOR: (that takes alot of gusto )

CIMORENE: (you never mentioned that!)

NARRATOR: (i just realized it)

CIMORENE: (woohoo!)

NARRATOR: *willpower test*

CIMORENE: (16)

NARRATOR: *you're fine*

NARRATOR: Mundin:There must be a spell caster right by the wall*talking loud over battle*

NARRATOR: Mundin:Can you see anyone?

CIMORENE: Well, let's see if we can find him!

NARRATOR: (observe)

CIMORENE: (18)

NARRATOR: *you just see soldiers and trolls banging on the wall and hurling their own dead*

CIMORENE: (dang)

CIMORENE:  *casts Sense Power*

CIMORENE: (BOXCARS)

NARRATOR: *you FEEL*

CIMORENE: (Don't start doing a Chris on me, buddy)

NARRATOR: *you can sense a powerful spellcaster some 50ft from the wall*

NARRATOR: (just let me tell ya no worries;-))

CIMORENE: (Can I pinpoint him?)

NARRATOR: (getting to it)

NARRATOR: *hard to type it out seeing how there is no reference...., 10ft left of the ladder that you pushed over now finally coming back up*

NARRATOR: *so about 60ft left of your position on the ground*

CIMORENE: (What's he look like?)

NARRATOR: (if that makes sense)

NARRATOR: *you cannot really tell with the roll you had for observe, it seems to be a man in heavy armor wearing a crown*

CIMORENE: (A crown?!)

NARRATOR: (ya)

NARRATOR: *the crown can only be made out to be silver from your roll*

CIMORENE: *she rushes to the ladder, using her momentum to help push it, and yells to Mundin*  Down there!  The fancy royal one!  Get him!

NARRATOR: Mundin:*looks*I see him!*begins chanting*

NARRATOR: *he casts lightning but misses*

NARRATOR: *another soldier goes down*

NARRATOR: *the ladder is up*

CIMORENE: (I was pushing against it!)

NARRATOR: (make a check)

NARRATOR: (i'll give you a bonus)

CIMORENE: (10)

NARRATOR: *you barely managed to knock the ladder back but it does not fall all the way over, it looks like some strength below is trying to get it back*

NARRATOR: *next hour*

CIMORENE: (ok)

NARRATOR: *galtaire is still fighting valiantly but things seem to not go their way.  The door is breaking a bit now and the southern end of the wall has a siegetower that has a foothold to the top of the wall*

NARRATOR: *amazingly no arrows hit you thought a swarm come close*

CIMORENE: *she casts Sundering at the seige tower*

NARRATOR: *mundin is shot in the arm but nothing bad*

CIMORENE: ((cast with a 16)

NARRATOR: (assuming you move to within 50ft?)

CIMORENE: (oops)

CIMORENE: (too far, eh?)

NARRATOR: (magic has limits, ya it's too far from your present location)

CIMORENE: (forgot bout that)

NARRATOR: (you are on the southern end a bit from the main gate but far from the southern very end)

NARRATOR: *stamina test*

CIMORENE: (15)

NARRATOR: *you're fine*

NARRATOR: *dispel lightning*

CIMORENE: (whew.... cast with a 9)

NARRATOR: (snake eyes?)

CIMORENE: (oops... 11)

CIMORENE: (heh heh heh)

NARRATOR: (okay)

CIMORENE: (stupid two)

NARRATOR: (ya)

NARRATOR: (bearning test)

NARRATOR: (sorry should have said dispel)

CIMORENE: (12)

NARRATOR: *dispelled*

NARRATOR: *mundin is also hard at work dispelling*

NARRATOR: Mundin:Try to hit our friend below...

CIMORENE: *she nods and takes out her huge bow*

CIMORENE: *she smiles grimly*  let's see him dispell this....

CIMORENE: *fires once, reloads, and fires again immedietely*)

CIMORENE: (22 on the first shot 21 on the second)

NARRATOR: *1 hit*

CIMORENE: (whew)

NARRATOR: (kinda hard to hit 1 guy in war and all)

CIMORENE: (13 damage)

NARRATOR: *he see's you and seems angry but only slightly hurt*

CIMORENE: (just a sec.... this may crash... I have to see if I can unstick my computer.... please hold)

NARRATOR: (k)

CIMORENE: (whew)

CIMORENE: (figures)

NARRATOR: *hour 3*

NARRATOR: *galtaire seems to be failing some now as that tower in the south cannot seem to be stopped, the fighters there seem to be gaining a foot hold on the wall.  The gate is splintering now.  The fighitng by the ladders is getting more desperate.  Tusek joins you for the present*

NARRATOR: *stamina test*

CIMORENE: (15)

NARRATOR: *you're just fine*

NARRATOR: *hit by 2 arrows*

NARRATOR: *1 for 5*

NARRATOR: *other for 6*

CIMORENE: (yikes)

CIMORENE: (okies)

CIMORENE: (one point into healthy still)

NARRATOR: Tusek:*to Mundin*That group on the south of the wall cannot be hindered!

NARRATOR: Mundin:*yelling*We shall see!  Cimorene I will return in time, this must be stopped

NARRATOR: *it is 7 pm or so now*

CIMORENE: *she nods and yells*  All right!

NARRATOR: *wait, it's more like 9*

CIMORENE: Good luck!

NARRATOR: (remember to mark off used arrows)

NARRATOR: *there seem to be very significant loses on the army below, yet they appear to be gaining the upper hand*

CIMORENE: (which army?)

NARRATOR: (evil)

CIMORENE: (damn)

NARRATOR: *lightning is being cast on you*

CIMORENE: (dispel)

CIMORENE: (cast with a 12...)

NARRATOR: *you can tell it's the one below you*

CIMORENE: (ouch..... bearing is only a 10)

CIMORENE: *she looks towards the mountains and scans them for any sign of movement, hopeful*

NARRATOR: *your opponent caster seems to be inept and you succeed*

CIMORENE: (wow)

NARRATOR: (i rolled bad)

CIMORENE: *she fires twice more at him*

NARRATOR: *the ladder comes back*

CIMORENE: (BOXCARS! and 20)

NARRATOR: *it appears trolls now man this ladder*

NARRATOR: *you hit doing max*

CIMORENE: (that's 18 damage then)

NARRATOR: *the other shot misses*

NARRATOR: *the caster seems to be harmed now and more angry than ever*

CIMORENE: (Any trolls coming up the ladder?)

NARRATOR: *none*

CIMORENE: *casts Kindle Fire on the ladder*

NARRATOR: *bunch of men so far*

CIMORENE: (cast with a whopping 17!)

NARRATOR: *you are being attemptedly dispelled*

CIMORENE: (brb.... bathroom dash)

NARRATOR: (okay....it's crazy how the spellcasters are controlling where this goes)

CIMORENE: (sorry that took longer than expected.... I'm all alone, and I heard a noise)

NARRATOR: (oh okay, but things are cool?)

CIMORENE: (I think so, yeah)

NARRATOR: (okay)

NARRATOR: *bearing test*

CIMORENE: (It was a 10)

NARRATOR: *tie, re-roll*

CIMORENE: (12)

NARRATOR: *you spell goes off*

CIMORENE: (whoa!  Wasn't expecting that)

NARRATOR: (wasn't easy either)

CIMORENE: (ok, so Kindle's Fire and then fires twice again at him)

NARRATOR: *fire on*

CIMORENE: (23 the first shot 21 the second)

NARRATOR: *second shot barely hits*

CIMORENE: (booya!  damage: (15 and shit, 17!)

NARRATOR: *he shouldn't have come closer....*

NARRATOR: *he looks....bad*

NARRATOR: *hour 4*

NARRATOR: *makes it like 11pm*

CIMORENE: (man, it's a good thing I'm an elf)

NARRATOR: *Mundins prescence seems to have pushed the invaders almost all the way off the wall.  Galtaire seems revitalized and has men and new timber propping the gate as shut as can be but everyone can see; it will not be long at all before it breaks; trolls are pounding on it now*

NARRATOR: *the sorcerer below stops your fire by making the winds go up too much for it to catch*

CIMORENE: *fires twice at him*

CIMORENE: (22 and 22)

NARRATOR: *tusek is holding the men back almost single-handed on your ladder*

NARRATOR: *no hits*

NARRATOR: *it's dark now*

CIMORENE: (wow)

NARRATOR: *way dark, he's moved back and in a crowd*

NARRATOR: *no spells to dispel becaue of it*

NARRATOR: *stamina*

CIMORENE: *being that she can't see well, she scurries down the ladder to help Tusek*

CIMORENE: (14)

NARRATOR: (no laura you are on the wall at the top of this ladder, tusek is stopping enemies with some guards from coming up; like helms deep*

CIMORENE: (ooohhh.... gotcha)

NARRATOR: *you still feel alright, but realize you are gonna have trouble keeping this up soon*

NARRATOR: *tusek is a flurry of blows and the men in front of you now stop arrows from hitting you by being hit themselves, a man dies in front of you*

NARRATOR: Tusek:I don't think the Elder will have time to help us anymore over here...

NARRATOR: *tusek talks quite calmly in the midst of fighting 2 at once*

CIMORENE: (How can I hear him?)

NARRATOR: (assume all talk is at high levels now)

CIMORENE: *she whirls around, searching for Mundin*

NARRATOR: *observe*

CIMORENE: (15)

NARRATOR: *you cannot seem to locate him*

CIMORENE: (Are there any enemies on the tower at all?)

NARRATOR: (yes on the southern end and intermittently on the ladders)

NARRATOR: (by the top of the wall by the ladders there are some enemies, save yours)

CIMORENE: *she moves towards the nearest enemy, knowing she can't do much in the dark, she moves to attack the first enemy she sees*

NARRATOR: (it looks like that won't keep up much longer either)

NARRATOR: *make a roll*

CIMORENE: (9)

NARRATOR: (9 to hit?)

CIMORENE: (oh!  A to hit roll?!  No, then it's a 24)

CIMORENE: (23)

NARRATOR: (hehe)

NARRATOR: *hits*

CIMORENE: ((12 damage)

NARRATOR: *the soldier dies and falls off*

NARRATOR: Tusek:My thanks Cimorene, I was beggining to think you weren' t going to fight

CIMORENE: *she grins at him, then proceeds to hack at everything she can find that is evil*

NARRATOR: *another attack*

CIMORENE: (22)

NARRATOR: *there are 3 men vying to get up the ladder at the top*

NARRATOR: *hits*

CIMORENE: (15 damage)

NARRATOR: (btw it's a +12 to defence to do a called shot to the head)

NARRATOR: (in case you wanted to kill MUCH faster)

NARRATOR: *the man seems quite hurt but intent on getting up*

CIMORENE: (this is with her staff, btw)

NARRATOR: *k*

NARRATOR: (armor negs noted)

CIMORENE: *just keeps on attacking until dawn*

NARRATOR: *hour 5*

NARRATOR: *the gate breaks and now the heavily armored defenders on the ground fight trolls.  Mundin seems to have taken the south tower down but now one is up on the northern side and is causing quite a bit of trouble there....  Fresh troops seem to be coming up now from the back of the enemies.  A ladder or two have been taken and defended, but the push to the gate is strongest...*

CIMORENE: (its a regular gate, right, not on a long stone walkway or something?)

NARRATOR: *9 stamina tests...*

NARRATOR: (regular gate)

CIMORENE: (right now?)

NARRATOR: (ya)

NARRATOR: (straight fighting takes a real toll)

NARRATOR: (for an hour)

CIMORENE: (18, 15, 15, 16, 14, 17, 16, 17,12)

NARRATOR: *the enemy army seems to be cut in half or so if not more*

NARRATOR: *you loose 2 weariness levels*

CIMORENE: (damn)

NARRATOR: *you manage to defend your ladder quite well with the other soldiers and Tusek, but it doesn't seem to be enough*

NARRATOR: *you are tapped on the back*

NARRATOR: (observe)

CIMORENE: (15)

NARRATOR: *you hear igiwi*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:CImorene we have a problem!

NARRATOR: Igiwi:You have to come with me NOW!

CIMORENE: What's wrong?

NARRATOR: *he grabs your shoulder to insist you*

CIMORENE: *frightened, she follows, running*

NARRATOR: *he leads you off the wall and down threw town to the rear..*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:They finally are coming threw

NARRATOR: *this is as you go*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:I do not know where the whole came from, but it is there now and we cannot see the end of them.  So far we have been able to repulse them but something is wrong and we need your magic deperately!

CIMORENE: *she nods and runs faster, trying to think of what to do*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:I hope I did not pry you from anything too pressing but you must see that we need you

CIMORENE: *she just looks at him as she runs*  nothing is more important than saving this city, Igiwi

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*obviously trying to be happy*How do things fare in the front?

CIMORENE: Not as good as we can hope.... but we are still alive, but I can't find Mundin

NARRATOR: Igiwi:That is bad news...

NARRATOR: *eventually you reach the other side of town*

NARRATOR: *you see a whole in the mountain about 7ft wide or so  there are men and some trolls trying to break threw but Igiwi's ragged bunch seems to be holding them back by throwing everything and the kitchen sink at them*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Help us!

NARRATOR: *igiwi runs off to his front line and draws his might sword*

CIMORENE: *she nods and surveys the problem*

CIMORENE: (Is it literally a hole?)

NARRATOR: (ya it's a cave)

CIMORENE: *she runs to the very front of the line and points just inside the cave mouth, at the ceiling*  SUNDERING!

NARRATOR: (roll to cast...)

CIMORENE: (jez.... barely cast with a 15)

NARRATOR: *no resistance*

NARRATOR: *the cave collapses, crushing all in it that you can see with a loud rumble*

NARRATOR: *the men all turn to you and cheer*

NARRATOR: *igiwi runs up*

CIMORENE: *she falls to her knees, panting*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Cimorene *barely able to contain his happiness and panting some himeself*You truly are our heroine!

NARRATOR: *he salutes you*

CIMORENE: *she grins up at him, panting*  Save that for later, Igiwi.... we still have a war to win.... *looks around her*

NARRATOR: (observe?)

CIMORENE: (12)

NARRATOR: *there seems to be little chaos up by you but in the bottom you see all the commotion and at the front gate some enemies are getting threw the valiant blockade*

CIMORENE: *she gasps*  The gate!  They're brekaing through!

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*to others*MEN WE FIGHT! *he points to the front with his sword*

NARRATOR: *the men all yell and grunt and beat their chests*

NARRATOR: *they all start off*

CIMORENE: *she runs towards the gate, staff held high*

NARRATOR: *you hear behind you the rubble shifting*

CIMORENE: *skids to a stop*

NARRATOR: *the whole group stops and turns*

NARRATOR: *a slew of trolls have very large hammers and are beating the debries away*

NARRATOR: *igiwi just mouths out "no"*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Let us send them back to their pit once more!

CIMORENE: *she stares at the hole again, then shakes her head*

NARRATOR: *the men charge back with slightly less heart*

NARRATOR: *btw there are 100 of them or so*

CIMORENE: *she leads the charge, screaming her own wordless battle cry*

NARRATOR: (next hour?)

CIMORENE: (sure.  I'm game for another hour or so in real life)

NARRATOR: (hehehe)

NARRATOR: (btw you are fairly close to the tower mundin lives in)

NARRATOR: (12 stamina checks)

CIMORENE: (12, boxcars, 12, 13, 14, 11, 13, 14, 13, 14, 9, 13)

NARRATOR: (is that with your prior weariness negs?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: (very nice)

CIMORENE: (NICE?)

NARRATOR: *you lose 2 more weariness*

NARRATOR: (the boxcars went along way, trust me)

CIMORENE: (Goodie.... I'm Weary)

NARRATOR: *it is now 1am*

NARRATOR: *Igiwi's incredibly brave crew seem to have slewn the trolls and are now barely holding back the men.  You have killed a great many soldiers yourself and proven to be a rock for the others to be inspired by*

NARRATOR: *as for the front, you cannot really tell anymore*

NARRATOR: *you only know that you are not being attacked in your back*

NARRATOR: *take 15 damage from battle*

NARRATOR: *the enemies seem to be getting tired as well, the only consolation for the losing that seems to be hapening to your side

NARRATOR: (now you can roll for that valourous deed thing)

NARRATOR: *amidst all the fighting in the front line, you encounter a large man in a black cloak, he has a mace, and seems to be armored*

NARRATOR: *the man is wearing a silver crown and points at you*

CIMORENE: (oh goodie)

NARRATOR: *fighting stops*

NARRATOR: *all eyes are on you two*

NARRATOR: *the man yells something very loud to his troops and strides to you*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*to you* I think it to be an honor duel Cimorene!

NARRATOR: Igiwi:Do not fail us!

CIMORENE: *brings up her staff and raises herself to her full height, shaking her long violet hair back*  I figured as much.... stay back, men!

CIMORENE: Have faith!

NARRATOR: (initiative)

CIMORENE: (oh hell yes.... boxcars)

CIMORENE: (that makes it 13)

NARRATOR: (WOW)

NARRATOR: (you're in luck, maces do 2d6+1)

CIMORENE: (I do more damage!  ha!)

NARRATOR: (you are, though, more damaged)

CIMORENE: (damn)

CIMORENE: (I'm still healthy)

CIMORENE: (by one point)

NARRATOR: *but quite tired*

CIMORENE: (indeed)

NARRATOR: (with the 15 damage i said you took?)

CIMORENE: (it was only 14)

NARRATOR: (oh)

NARRATOR: (and all the arrows?)

CIMORENE: (that was all the arrows)

NARRATOR: (no before the 14)

CIMORENE: (wait... what?)

NARRATOR: (you took an additional 15 or so for the rear fight itself)

CIMORENE: (When did I take that 14 then?)

CIMORENE: (you never said so)

NARRATOR: (no no no)

CIMORENE: (oh!  I see it now~)

NARRATOR: (keep all the damage from before but add 15 more)

CIMORENE: (Sorry about that)

NARRATOR: (k)

CIMORENE: (That's when I died, I think)

NARRATOR: (ya)

CIMORENE: (damn.... I'm Dazed)

NARRATOR: *you're first*

CIMORENE: (anyway, describe this person to me)

NARRATOR: *he is about as tall as you with an adorned silver crown with a black cloak and a dark complection*

NARRATOR: *he has a mace and what seems to be heavy armor*

CIMORENE: *she nods and attacks twice with her staff*

CIMORENE: (now, the weariness adds the minuses still, right?)

NARRATOR: (ya)

CIMORENE: (18 and 17)

NARRATOR: *both hits*

NARRATOR: (you are scary)

CIMORENE: (with minues fives.... whoa!!)

NARRATOR: (you're now almost mortal;-))

CIMORENE: (16 damage first, 15 second)

NARRATOR: *he seems significantly hurt*

NARRATOR: (you added strength mod?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: (oww for him)

CIMORENE: (no kidding)

NARRATOR: (what is your defense? 11?)

CIMORENE: (*grimaces* yeah)

NARRATOR: *2 hits*

NARRATOR: *1 at 11*

NARRATOR: *other at 12*
CIMORENE:  (Ouch... and ouch again)

CIMORENE: (I'm Injured)

NARRATOR: (oww)

NARRATOR: (well what now?)

CIMORENE: (*sighs*  I need more Health..... next time, reward me with more Health points or something)

CIMORENE: (flurry of blows again)

NARRATOR: (spells?)

NARRATOR: (oh okay)

NARRATOR: (remember extra actions are a cumulative -5)

CIMORENE: (I thought I got two actions?!)

NARRATOR: (you do, but you can take extras for -5/-10/-15 etc)

CIMORENE: (ok then.  DOn't scare me like that)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: (just saying you can try for more if you want)

CIMORENE: (16 first and 15 second)

NARRATOR: *2 hits*

CIMORENE: (15 damage and 12 damage)

NARRATOR: *he's looking pretty bad*

CIMORENE: (if he doesn't kill me this next round, I think I've got him....)

NARRATOR: *2 hits*

NARRATOR: *12*

NARRATOR: *9*

CIMORENE: (.... wounded)

NARRATOR: *both sides cheer now*

NARRATOR: *they cheer for their respective leader*

CIMORENE: (my turn?)

NARRATOR: (ya)

CIMORENE: *she closes her eyes and all of a sudden her staff glows white and there is a thunderbolt sound*  LIGHTNING!

NARRATOR: (super lightening?)

CIMORENE: (oh my gods.... I cast it)

CIMORENE: (with an 8)

NARRATOR: (wow that's the limit eh?)

CIMORENE: (yeah)

CIMORENE: (I only get a +1 to resist weariness now, because I have that extra plus 2.... it saved me)

CIMORENE: (Damage?  Or is he gonna dispel?)

NARRATOR: (he attempts...)

NARRATOR: (which means you have to do a bearing test)

CIMORENE: (Gods... with all the negs?)

CIMORENE: (?)

NARRATOR: (i cannot find a ruling)

NARRATOR: (i will assume it does not apply to this)

CIMORENE: (yea!!!)

CIMORENE: (12 then)

NARRATOR: *your spell goes off*

CIMORENE: (oh.... my....gods.....)

CIMORENE: (oh... it hurts.... 20)

NARRATOR: (ranged attack to hit, btw)

CIMORENE: (15 to hit... with the negs)

NARRATOR: *hits*

NARRATOR: (doing 20?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: *he's bleeding a whole lot and his men seem to be losing heart in him.  he doesn't seem able to do much more*

NARRATOR: *1 hit*

CIMORENE: (If this is Melendar, I will kill you)

NARRATOR: *15*

CIMORENE: (shiiiiit)

NARRATOR: (lol)

CIMORENE: (ok.... Cimorene's one point into Incapacitated)

NARRATOR: (that's good considering it was 1 hit)

CIMORENE: (I miss my Hardy edge!!!!)

NARRATOR: (sorry)

NARRATOR: (you're an elf)

NARRATOR: (the stamina is helping you far more, you must agree)

CIMORENE: (indeed)

NARRATOR: (you're up btw)

CIMORENE: *with the last of her strength, she whaps him twice hard*

CIMORENE: (oh my god..... boxcars....)

NARRATOR: (won't take much....)

NARRATOR: *he dies*

CIMORENE: (and 12)

CIMORENE: (yea!!!!!!!!!!)

NARRATOR: *you crush his skull*

CIMORENE: (whew)

NARRATOR: *they all look at eachother*

NARRATOR: *the enemies seem infuriated*

NARRATOR: *the enemies now seem somewhat frightened as they go to rush*

CIMORENE: *she brings her staff around, her voice booming*  I am Cimorene the Violet, the Shadow of the West!  Dare you to stand against me!?

NARRATOR: (initimidate?)

CIMORENE: (*shrugs*  sure)

CIMORENE: (negs still added?)

NARRATOR: (i think?)

NARRATOR: (for this one)

CIMORENE: (2)

CIMORENE: (with the negs)

NARRATOR: (circumstance bonus' make that decent)

NARRATOR: *igiwi's men back up your words with a charge that forces the enemies back into the cave as they seem to have lost heart*

NARRATOR: Igiwi:*as he runs in*Thank you Cimorene!  *yells to his men*Charge to their ruin!

NARRATOR: *you are alone*

CIMORENE: *she staggers towards the tower, badly needing rest*

NARRATOR: *you hear much battle in the front now that you have the opportunity to hear it*

NARRATOR: *though there appear to be few now of the attackers, they are doing an extrodinary job*

NARRATOR: *the wall is all but taken and the first level breached*

CIMORENE: *she leans against the wall, holding her wounds and closing her eyes, silent tears streaming down her face*  Valar, full of grace and glory, protect us all....

NARRATOR: (observe)

CIMORENE: (6 with minuses)

NARRATOR: *you hear something above you*

NARRATOR: (that's it)

CIMORENE: *she looks up groggily, gripping her staff*

NARRATOR: *something just got onto the top of the tower*

CIMORENE: *she pushes herself off the wall and hurries as fast as she can to the Tower doors and up as many stairs as she can.  She grips her staff, using it as a crutch half the time, but determined to protect the tower*

NARRATOR: *stamina test*

CIMORENE: (6)

NARRATOR: *you lose a weariness*

CIMORENE: (figures)

CIMORENE: (And I'm Spent)

NARRATOR: (good fighting)

NARRATOR: *you wake up*

CIMORENE: (wake up?)

CIMORENE: (Does that mean I fainted?)

NARRATOR: (oh how tired are you?)

CIMORENE: (In real life, or in game?)

NARRATOR: (hehe, in real life you'd better not be;-) in game you're spent.  it'll take 4 hours to get better)

CIMORENE: (gotcha)

CIMORENE: (ok, so I wake up)

NARRATOR: (did you faint?)

NARRATOR: (technically no)

NARRATOR: (1 more level before you pass out)

CIMORENE: (lol.... so what did I do, Narrator?)

NARRATOR: (you made it up the tower, but used up precious energy to do it)

CIMORENE: (gotcha)

NARRATOR: *you go way up to find a man in blue by an eagle*

CIMORENE: *stands there, shocked and bleeding and bruised*  You....

NARRATOR: *he looks at you suspiciously at first, concentrates a moment, and smiles*

NARRATOR: Pallando:Pallando the blue at your service Cimorene.  *walks over to you*You've had quite an ordeal

CIMORENE: Pallando.... *falls to her knees*

CIMORENE: *and not on purpose*

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: Pallando:*picks you up*Come now, child, you need rest.  *says something to the eagle in eagle and goes downstairs*

CIMORENE: *groans a few times, trying to push him away*  I have to find Mundin... and the men....

NARRATOR: Pallando:All in good time, Violet one.  If we still stand when you awaken we will need all you can bring to bare then.  Unless you think you can still stand?

CIMORENE: *thinks about it a moment, then shakes her head*

NARRATOR: *he takes you into the first room he can find, which has a bed but looks not to be used often at all*

NARRATOR: Pallando:Then sleep, for it is nightfall afterall*brief laugh*

NARRATOR: *he sets you on the bed*

CIMORENE: *is asleep before she hits the pillow, gripping her staff in a deathgrip*

NARRATOR: (here is trouble, i think a nights rest recovers all weariness)

CIMORENE: (Alternate senario: Pallando and CImorene get it on in the empty tower... lol)

CIMORENE: (Why is that trouble?)

NARRATOR: (no a nights sleep won't do it, you have to rest that long)

CIMORENE: (I'll rest as long as she can)

NARRATOR: *you wake up after an extrodinarily refreshing sleep*

NARRATOR: *it is still dark out*

CIMORENE: *she sits bolt upright in bed and dashes to the window*

NARRATOR: (observe)

NARRATOR: (all weariness is gone)

CIMORENE: ((Where am I for wound lvls?)

NARRATOR: (thought you kept track of that almost incapacitated)

CIMORENE: (Ok... I just wanted to know if I healed at all)

NARRATOR: *heal 2 hp*

CIMORENE: (12 on the observe then)

NARRATOR: *actually go up 1 wound level and 5 hp on top of that*

CIMORENE: (Why?)

NARRATOR: (can't tell ya)

NARRATOR: (you were not awake)

CIMORENE: (cool!  I'm only injured!)

CIMORENE: (That's a 14 observe then)

NARRATOR: *you see battle still*(typing)

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: *the gate to the second level is the battleground now as trolls and men pound away.  Galtaire does not seem to want to give up at all.  Magic flies all around there.  The wall seems held in 1 region only and you can make a guess who is doing it*

CIMORENE: Pallando....

NARRATOR: *the level you are on, however, is taken*

CIMORENE: (shit)

CIMORENE: (And they havne't stormed the Tower?)

NARRATOR: *for some reason they cannot enter the tower but are a sea all around it*

NARRATOR: *trolls pound at it's base doing little*

NARRATOR: *the 6th level (below you) is under attack now as well and the 2 front battle is among Galtaire*

CIMORENE: *she stands there, trapped, unable to think.  She moves back inside the room, leaning on the wall, gripping her staff.  Then she hurries up to the top of the tower*

NARRATOR: *there is a giant eagle there*

CIMORENE: *she stares at the eagle a moment, then bows deeply*  Please.... I need help.

NARRATOR: *it looks at you like you speak a foreign language*

CIMORENE: Beast Speech.... (I rolled boxcars)

NARRATOR: (SO glad you remembered)

NARRATOR: *it goes off without a hitch*

CIMORENE: *she remains in her bow*  Mighty lord.... I need your help.

NARRATOR: Eagle:Rise, Lady Cimorene.  I have been awaiting your for 2 hours now.  My friend Pallando informs me you would need my help.

NARRATOR: (i envision the voice for azlan)

CIMORENE: *she straightens and smiles a little*  My lord, when you flew here, did you see a leader of the great army?

NARRATOR: Eagle:I saw no such person

NARRATOR: Eagle:We went directly here

CIMORENE: *she nods*  I need to get to Pallando.

NARRATOR: Eagle:I believe him to be in the thick of things near the start of this city

NARRATOR: *it's 3 am in game now too*

CIMORENE: *she thinks a moment*  Take me to him, if you can.

NARRATOR: Eagle:I can and will but I will have to do it quickly and then return here, do you understand?

CIMORENE: Yes.  Please... I must ask one more favor...

NARRATOR: *he waits*

CIMORENE: Do you know the land of Gondor?

NARRATOR: Eagle:I have heard pallando speak old tales of it, yes.  But other than that, no

CIMORENE: If the battle goes ill, no matter what he says, take him and fly southwest, over the Black lands to the green growing land of Gondor.  Take him to the White City of Minis Tirith... he is needed there.

NARRATOR: Eagle:I will if I can, I give you my solem word

CIMORENE: *she nods to him and moves forward*  How does this work?  I've never ridden an eagle before...

NARRATOR: Eagle:*seems to smile*Fortunately I have.  Grab onto my necks feathers as tightly as you can, other than that be ready to jump off of me when the time comes. Let me do the rest

CIMORENE: *she does as she is bid and jumps on, holding tight*

NARRATOR: (strength check)

CIMORENE: (11)

NARRATOR: *you hold on quite tightly as he takes you from the tower*

NARRATOR: (observe while you're up?)

CIMORENE: (damn straight)

CIMORENE: (14)

NARRATOR: *officially puts his LOTR;ROTK on*

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: *you see 5 lone figures on the wall fighting increasingly impossible odds.  Suddenly the wall around them sunders apart in a shower of stone*

NARRATOR: *by the entrance to the second level you see a blue figure and a heavily armored captain of Galtaire trying to defend the gate with great effort.  Trying to keep the men up to fight at these early hours*

NARRATOR: Eagle:I will drop you nearly on the battle

CIMORENE: *she grips her staff tightly*  My thanks, my lord eagle!

NARRATOR: (jump check)

CIMORENE: *she sits up*  Do me one favor, please?!

NARRATOR: Eagle:Yes?

CIMORENE: Don't land yet!  Fly towards the battle!  *casts display of power, with all she can muster in it*

NARRATOR: Eagle:*with some gruffness*Very well...

CIMORENE: (Cast with a 16)

NARRATOR: *you are over the enemy now*

NARRATOR: *everything is firing desperately at the eagle*

CIMORENE: *suddenly she erupts into great purple light, and her voice booms over the assembled masses.  Clouds roll around the eagle and she, great huge violet cloaks, and purple lightning streaks through it*  I AM CIMORENE THE VIOLET, THE SHADOW OF THE WEST!  I AM YOUR DOOM, MORTALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NARRATOR: *moments later another voice booms back from the ground*

CIMORENE: (OH DEAR)

CIMORENE: (*kicks the caps lock*)

NARRATOR: *I AM LUIN RUTH THE BLUE ANGER!  DOOM OF THIS NIGHT FOR ALL WHO OPPOSE ME!!!*

CIMORENE: There!  Go down there, my lord eagle!

NARRATOR: *that voice is shockingly framiliar*

NARRATOR: Ealge:to that voice?

CIMORENE: Yes!

CIMORENE: Just get me close enough that I can jump!

NARRATOR: Eagle:*with VERY grim resignation*It will be your end...

CIMORENE: I have to try!

CIMORENE: Only I can end this damned war!  Please, trust me!

NARRATOR: Eagle:*he sounds like he may be crying*Very well...

CIMORENE: *she speaks softly*  Remember your promise, my lord eagle....

NARRATOR: *He takes you diving down swiftly and after a circle...*

NARRATOR: Eagle:I do....go now

NARRATOR: (jump check)

CIMORENE: *she leaps*

CIMORENE: (10)

CIMORENE: (*insight check on recognizing the voice*)

NARRATOR: *you are in the first level of the city far from help and in a mass of trolls and men there is a blue cloaked figure with a gold crown*

NARRATOR: (insight away)

CIMORENE: (13)

NARRATOR: *it sounds like the voice in those dreams*

CIMORENE: *she lands easily, rolling to her feet and yelling*  I come to negotiate!

NARRATOR: (yes you do)

CIMORENE: (parlay!)

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:*his voice is immensely intimidating even calm*Negotiate?!  *laughs like palpatine, the others all join in around*  This is too amusing to pass up.

NARRATOR: *he has a staff and sword on along with elvish looking armor*

NARRATOR: *his blue cloak is beautiful and ornate*

NARRATOR: *his beard is long white and braided in a long spike*

CIMORENE: *is in shabby, tight clothing, none of it purple, and her hair is tangled and bloodsoaked, but it may as well be a regal gown for all she stands there, immovable*  Liun Ruth.... we meet at last....

NARRATOR: *he just smiles condescendingly*

NARRATOR: *you feel power flowing all around him in shockwaves*

NARRATOR: (btw pallando felt INCREDIBLY powerful too, like oromic)

CIMORENE: You.... who have haunted my dreams and destroyed the mind of someone very close to me.... dogged my sleep and drove all pleasant thoughts from my mind... I ask you now, why?  Why this change?  Why have you chosen to follow the path of the shadow, as did my master so many years ago?

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:Saruman was only half right.  I desire no power and find it tragically unfortunate that you must suffer, but you oppose me.  Elves are my allies.  Men are my enemy.

CIMORENE: Why?

CIMORENE: Then why are you doing this?  the time of elves is past.... we have no more power here

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:Ask my old friend*sneers while he points up to pallando fighting desperately*

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I beg to differ, Violet child.  All your kin need are a push.

CIMORENE: (brb)

NARRATOR: (aye)

CIMORENE: (b)

NARRATOR: (k continue)

CIMORENE: You will not make them return, Liun Ruth.... they are gone, and with them went their strength.

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I am now their strength.  And my strength is all they need

CIMORENE: And they would flock to you?  Why?

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:Do not think you can do what Pallando already tried, I am beyond this.  *waves the conversation away*What are you to negotiate?

CIMORENE: The only ones who remain are those who chose lives among the humans, of their own free will!

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:Are you negotiating or dying?

CIMORENE: I demand the salvation of Galtaire, and I bring a message.

CIMORENE: From the Red Wanderer.

NARRATOR: *he seems confused but intrigued*

CIMORENE: Oromic the Red has returned.

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:  and?...

CIMORENE: He commanded me to seek you out.

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:*laughs terribly*Well so you have!  A job well done, Violet child.

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I'm curious, after finding me what did you plan on doing next?

CIMORENE: My mission is officially completed.  I have seen you with my own eyes, and do hereby pass judgement upon your actions with the full authority of the Council of Wizards.

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:And I judge YOU as well

CIMORENE: If you do not cease your attacks and your reckless ambitions, the council, reassembled, will descend upon you.

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:Nothing ceases now.

CIMORENE: (by the way, she's stalling him the best she can, hoping Melendar has the elves coming)

NARRATOR: (that's nice)

CIMORENE: You would risk the rage of the Four Wizards of old?

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:Was that it?  A little threat?  No real negotiations now?

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I was under the impression that Gandalf the Grey was my only real opponent

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I do not fear such a retribution.

CIMORENE: What could I offer you in exchange for the salvation of Galtaire?

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:What indeed.*thinking*

NARRATOR: (caught me offguard)

CIMORENE: (lol)

CIMORENE: (if you say END, I'll kill you)

NARRATOR: (i shant, lets keep on playing eh?)

CIMORENE: (for another half hour, then I really need to get some sleep)

CIMORENE: (I don't wanna stop, but I have to work tomorrow)

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I want harrasment of my men stopped at once.  I want my men to have absolute access to this place at all times and no further defense of it.  I want Pallando and his lakie to be my guests after the cease of hostilities as well and...

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I want you to find me Melendar

CIMORENE: *she stares at him a moment*  Why?

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:These are my terms

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:I will accept no substitue

CIMORENE: Tell me why you want Melendar

NARRATOR: Luin Ruth:No further questions, my men will escort you to Pallando and you can all decide from there if you all live or die tonight

CIMORENE: *she nods*  Done.

CIMORENE: Call off your forces until I return.

NARRATOR: *he tells his men and as you move up people part and the forces stop fighting on both sides, somehow*

NARRATOR: *you reach the entrance to the second gate to find Pallando and some VERY tired looking soldiers*

NARRATOR: Pallando:Cimorene?  What is the meaning of this?

CIMORENE: *goes straight to Pallando*  I've bought us some time....

CIMORENE: The men need all the rest they can get, and this respite will help.

CIMORENE: *tells him all she learned from Liun Ruth, leaving nothing out*

NARRATOR: Pallando:What use does that elf have in any event?

NARRATOR: Pallando:I do not see how giving in to these demands is any better then dying here and now

CIMORENE: My only guess is that my assumptions have all been wrong about Melendar.... and that he escaped Liun Ruth, and was not sent from him after being spent of use.

CIMORENE: But Pallando.... what can we do?  I only have one more trump card to play, and now I do not know if it will work.

NARRATOR: Pallando:What could you do?*he walks from the front now*

CIMORENE: He desires the reinstation of the elven race as supreme race.  Why?  He told me to ask you.

NARRATOR: Pallando:He believes elves the most superior or Illvutars creations and that they have been wrongly replaced.

NARRATOR: Pallando:He expects to, by force, change the balance of power

CIMORENE: Does he have any weakness?  I have the opportunity to get close to him again, before the battle starts.

NARRATOR: Pallando:*thoughtful look*He may be able to, on top of it all

NARRATOR: Pallando:His only weaknesses were the code he used to follow.  Many have tried to stop him, none have succeeded

CIMORENE: The code of the wizards?

NARRATOR: Pallando:Correct.  When we came from Valinor we had rules to govern ourselves but he has gone far beyond those boundries now

CIMORENE: Can he be killed?

NARRATOR: Pallando:As much as either of us can be

CIMORENE: any other weaknesses at all?  anything emotional, psychological we can appeal to?

CIMORENE: (old girlfriend I can look like...?)

NARRATOR: Pallando:The next question you should consider is "can you kill him"

NARRATOR: *pallando just stands there with a sour look on his face*

CIMORENE: *waits*

NARRATOR: Pallando:Should we ask the men if they accept these terms?

CIMORENE: Take that as a no, eh?

NARRATOR: Pallando:We should not speak for them

CIMORENE: *she nods*  Mundin, Igiwi, and Tusek lead the men

NARRATOR: Pallando:You forget, my apprentice is bound to the same rules we are

NARRATOR: Pallando:And I fear he was just killed

CIMORENE: *she winces, already knowing this*  I was afraid of that

NARRATOR: Pallando:If we can find a leader of men, then let us have him answer

CIMORENE: Igiwi and Tusek then

NARRATOR: Pallando:I do not know this Igiwi.  I will try to find Tusek...

NARRATOR: *he goes off*

CIMORENE: *looks for a ranger*

NARRATOR: (observe check, a big one)

CIMORENE: (14)

CIMORENE: (any ranger)

NARRATOR: (oh)

NARRATOR: *you find a strider*

CIMORENE: *she goes up to him*  Does Igiwi still live?

NARRATOR: *you see one of those men Igiwi was with earlier*

NARRATOR: Man:Lady I do not know after our defense collapsed, I wonder if he was trampled...

CIMORENE: *she nods*  See if you can find him for me

NARRATOR: Man:I will try, where do I ask him to go?

CIMORENE: Here.  Right here.

NARRATOR: *you hear soldiers muttering to eachother now*

NARRATOR: *the man nods and goes off darting between people*

CIMORENE: *goes back to where she stood with Pallando*

NARRATOR: *pallando is not there*

CIMORENE: (I know)

NARRATOR: (k, you gonna wait for him?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: *minutes later he arrives with no-one*

CIMORENE: Tusek?

NARRATOR: Pallando:It is now my understanding he was one of the last on the wall when it.... collapsed in a part

CIMORENE: *she closes her eyes for a moment, whispering a prayer*  I fear Igiwi is dead too

NARRATOR: Pallando:If he or my apprentice live, they are among the enemy or strewn in the front of the wall outside

CIMORENE: *she looks at him full in the face*  What do we do?  Do we speak for them, or do I make my final offer before we fight them?

NARRATOR: Pallando:*huge sigh*I suppose we nominate a new leader

CIMORENE: *she nods*  Who?

NARRATOR: Pallando:Who is a captain here?

NARRATOR: *to all the men*

CIMORENE: Igiwi

NARRATOR: Pallando:Who here leads?

NARRATOR: *the men hush*

NARRATOR: *no one replies for a minute*

NARRATOR: Grishna:I do sir!

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: (there's always somebody)

NARRATOR: *a thinner and smaller man in armor comes up*

NARRATOR: *he seems to be a more minor lieutenant*

NARRATOR: Grishna:I lead men, sir.  No one else who does seems to be responding... so here i am

CIMORENE: *she nods*  INdeed.... well, I beleive you are ranking officer.  *tells him Ruth's terms*  What would your opinion be, sir?

CIMORENE: (END)
