NARRATOR: GAME IT ON

CIMORENE: (indeed)

NARRATOR: (you are riding at a sprint then?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: (k then)

NARRATOR: *stamina test* (bard)

CIMORENE: ((16)

NARRATOR: (i was thinking you'd roll it, but i can i guess...)

NARRATOR: *passes fine*

CIMORENE: (sorry... had to look it up)

NARRATOR: *ride check*

CIMORENE: (11)

NARRATOR: *you feel confident riding this fast in the dark*

NARRATOR: *melendar holds you tightly and yet gently all at once*

NARRATOR: *observe check*

CIMORENE: (awwwww)

CIMORENE: (15)

NARRATOR: *your elf eyes see in the distance a town being razed*

NARRATOR: *must be a mile or two*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*to you*You see it?

CIMORENE: *she bites her lip in frustrations and whispers over her shoulder*  Yes...

NARRATOR: Melendar:Do you see survivors?

CIMORENE: (observe?)

NARRATOR: (btw i think blocking with your staff as a shield may be a stellar idea, was thinking about it at work today)

NARRATOR: (make one if you like)

CIMORENE: (sweet.... 18)

NARRATOR: *you think you see a swarm of things chase a small group of other things to a two-story building.  You are not very sure since it is so dark*

NARRATOR: *the town itself (from what you can see) is moderately sized and mostly on fire and in more or less, chaos*

CIMORENE: I cannot distinguish foe from innocent, but I can see some things chasing other things.... this city is almost lost

NARRATOR: Melendar:I can not see turning away an option if these are survivors.  We have never given up before have we?

NARRATOR: *he sounds seriously like he does not know*

CIMORENE: *she smiles, if a bit ruefully*  No... we have never given up before.....

CIMORENE: Can you summon a water spell?

CIMORENE: ( oh you have work in the morning?)

NARRATOR: Melendar:*catching on*I can do little unless I have a body of some sort to start with... *looks in the distance* There is a well in the center of the town... I may be able to summon much water

CIMORENE: Try to douse some of the fires.... we'll make several dashes through town (he has a bow, right?)

NARRATOR: (you have the one bow)

CIMORENE: (Does Melendar?)

NARRATOR: (random roll...)

CIMORENE: (you or me?)

NARRATOR: *he has a standard longbow*

NARRATOR: (i did)

CIMORENE: (coolio)

CIMORENE: Try and pick off as many as we can from horseback... less chance of us getting mobbed.

CIMORENE: (Farspeaking)

NARRATOR: Melendar:I will try but i will need much concentration*seems to start thinking of his spell*

CIMORENE: (passed the weariness with a 12)

NARRATOR: *speak on*

CIMORENE: *explains the plan and the need to Pallando*

NARRATOR: (wow a 12? that's low for you, hehe)

CIMORENE: (No kidding)

CIMORENE: (But I'm still in pain, remember?)

NARRATOR: Pallando:*speaking back in spell*i understand.  we will aid you from above

CIMORENE: *she urges Bard into a hard run, drawing her huge bow and fitting an arrow into the notch*  I'll keep them from you, my love.... just get those fires out *grips his hand tightly for a moment*

NARRATOR: *he holds it tightly for a moment and then starts chanting in high elvish*

NARRATOR: *melendar grips a bow at the same time and notches an arrow as he chants a little louder*

NARRATOR: *bard flies across the grass land like a maeras as you hit the edge of town*

NARRATOR: (you have the situation by surprise.  free actions)

CIMORENE: *fires at will at all orcs, especially the ones chasing humans*

NARRATOR: (want an observe then?)

CIMORENE: (sure!)

CIMORENE: (18)

NARRATOR: *there is a main street area where the action is taking place.  you see a small group of humans fighting off a gang of roughly 40 orcs and a troll.  they fight at the main door bottling their enemies.  swords flash in the night with the red of flames*

NARRATOR: *there are scattered orcs running around looting, pilaging, and plundering the area*

NARRATOR: *none seem to have seen you all coming*

CIMORENE: *fires off four arrows into the orcs at the main gate*

NARRATOR: *you see the well melendar spoke of and there is water starting to swell over it's brim as he chants on and simultaneously fires an arrow*

NARRATOR: *make checks for the arorws*

CIMORENE: (25, 19, 19, 13)

NARRATOR: *3 hits*

NARRATOR: *1 that can be super*

CIMORENE: (make it so.... full damage, please)

NARRATOR: (remember you can take a limb off... jeese)

NARRATOR: (full it is)

CIMORENE: (so the damages are 25, 20, 18)

NARRATOR: (OMG)

CIMORENE: (lol... at as many orcs as possible)

NARRATOR: *2 orcs die in the group and one staggers back in howling pain*

CIMORENE: (37 to go)

NARRATOR: *melendars shot cleaves the sword arm off of an orc about to hit one of the few men and it slumps down in utter confusion and pain.  melendar then focus's his eye to the well*

NARRATOR: *you are almost past the building now and nearly into the middle of town*

NARRATOR: *an eagle swoops by taking 5 orcs with it high in the sky and pallando sends a lightning bolt at another one*

CIMORENE: (29 left)

NARRATOR: *the well explodes with water all the sudden*

NARRATOR: *ride check*

CIMORENE: ((15)

NARRATOR: *you barely manage to keep bard from slipping in the gush of water.  the water travels everywhere in a 500 foot area and there is now steam in the area and no longer fire*

NARRATOR: *melendar lets out a great sigh and goes back to his bow as he lets loose 3 shoots from behind*

NARRATOR: *3 die, one the one he hit before*

CIMORENE: (27)

NARRATOR: *you reach the middle of town*

NARRATOR: *it is a circle about 50 feet in all directions in the sudden mud*

NARRATOR: *there are 2 intersecting roads*

NARRATOR: *1 that you did not come from*

NARRATOR: *wooden houses on all corners but only 1 stands now*

NARRATOR: *a troll turns around from looting in 1 building and in another are 10 orcs.  the others are deserted*

CIMORENE: *wheels Bard around back towards the men at the main gate, saying over her shoulder* Fight the ones we can see, do good where we can

NARRATOR: Melendar:*to the group in the center quietly*we have no time for you...

CIMORENE: (wait... there's people in the center?)

NARRATOR: *melendar fires off 2 two more aimed shots from right over your shoulder*

NARRATOR: (no people, just enemies)

NARRATOR: *the two shots strike true and kill their victims*

NARRATOR: *2 of the 5 men are dead that were at the door*

CIMORENE: (cool)

CIMORENE: (scared me for a moment)

CIMORENE: *her next shots at the main gate are all at the troll*

NARRATOR: (stupid forest orcs, so disposable... oh roll on)

NARRATOR: *the men kill 5 orcs of their own*

CIMORENE: (25 with boxcars, 23, 21, and 17)

CIMORENE: (24 now?)

NARRATOR: (4 shots?)

CIMORENE: (24 orcs and a troll?  and yes, four shots, and yes, those are with the minuses)

NARRATOR: *3 hits, 1 super hit but no limb removal on a troll with arrow, sorry*

CIMORENE: (i'll take full damage)

CIMORENE: (25, 23, 21)

NARRATOR: (phew)

CIMORENE:  (I freaking love this bow)

NARRATOR: *the troll is perplexed at how these little sticks could harm him so and immediately turns after your horse*

NARRATOR: *a few orcs jump out by you*

NARRATOR: *4 of them*

CIMORENE: (can Bard run them over?)

NARRATOR: *2 by bards legs to try to manually slow him...*

NARRATOR: *one tries to clip bard*

NARRATOR: *one jumps at the riders*

NARRATOR: *ride check to trample and not flip over yourselves*

CIMORENE: (14)

NARRATOR: (suggest courage point)

CIMORENE: (used)

NARRATOR: *bard tramples the two orcs's to their doom and rides on*

CIMORENE: (nice)

NARRATOR: *the orc trying to hit bard on the fly does and with a 14*

CIMORENE: (I lost count of the orcs.... I think we're at 22 or 21)

NARRATOR: *the orc jumping for you two makes it*

CIMORENE: (bastard)

NARRATOR: *he grapples towards you but melendar grabs it's throat muttering in high elvish filth of the world   and they both fall off*

NARRATOR: *the eagle swoops in to fight the troll that was charging your way with its talons and pallando's magic*

NARRATOR: *the men kill 2 more orcs*

CIMORENE: (19)

CIMORENE: *she wheels Bard around again and fires off  two arrows at the orc on Melendar*

NARRATOR: *by the time you come around you see that it is decapitated*

NARRATOR: *melendar hurls the severed head at the troll to distract it*

CIMORENE: *redirects her shots back into the main force*

NARRATOR: *the troll stops wounding the eagle and is then killed by it in the moment of weakness*

CIMORENE: (26, 23)

NARRATOR: *two +2 hits*

CIMORENE: (wait... the eagle is dead?)

NARRATOR: (no)

CIMORENE: (just clarifying)

NARRATOR: (the eagle killed the troll, but it got hurt)

CIMORENE: (anything superior in my hits?)

NARRATOR: (actually they were both extrodinary)

NARRATOR: *2 dead orcs*

CIMORENE: (how are they dead?)

CIMORENE: (my max damage kills them?)

NARRATOR: (max damage on that bow is enough for insta death)

CIMORENE: (nice)

NARRATOR: (it also ignores 4 points of armor)

CIMORENE: (17 orcs)

NARRATOR: *the orcs forget the remaining 2 hurt men and rush you, the "elf witch"*

CIMORENE: (*grins*  17.... I can handle that)

CIMORENE: (there's only two men left?)

NARRATOR: *melendar fires 4 times and 4 stop stuck to the mud by arrows in pain*

NARRATOR: (oh 3, my bad)

CIMORENE: (13)

NARRATOR: *melendar has run out of arrows*

NARRATOR: (jeese keep track of yours)

CIMORENE: (crap)

NARRATOR: (forgot)

CIMORENE: (I am!  I've got 20 left)

NARRATOR: (oh okay... my bad)

NARRATOR: (your move)

CIMORENE: (Display of power)

CIMORENE: (23.... lol)

NARRATOR: *cast so much*

CIMORENE: *great boughts of purple flames writhe from her every pore as she yells out*  You dare raise your hand to she who slew your master????? *her voice echoes throughout the ruined city*

NARRATOR: *intimidate check*

CIMORENE: (that's a 23 to intimidate)

CIMORENE: (heeheehee)

NARRATOR: *their 8 doesn't seem to cut it; they flee in terror*

CIMORENE: (*falls over laughing* )

NARRATOR: *melendar quickly runs to the 3 men and waves pallando in for the pick up*

CIMORENE: *rides over to them, her bow cocked for more shooting at orcs that may appear*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*Hurridly* they say they know of no other survivors.  Pallando is coming to carry them to safety

NARRATOR: *as he speaks the eagle comes down*

CIMORENE: *she nods*  Then as soon as they're away, we ride hard to the west....

NARRATOR: *no enemies approach but keep their eyes fixed on you all*

CIMORENE: *offers a hand to him*

NARRATOR: (who?)

CIMORENE: *still burning with purple flame*

CIMORENE: (Melandar)

NARRATOR: *his slightly trembling hand takes yours*

NARRATOR: *his spell seems to have exhausted him a bit*

CIMORENE: *she pulls him up, gripping his hand tightly*  Just hold fast, love..... I'll get us out of here.  *a grim resolve takes over her mind as she looks at her lover*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*with all the love and confidence imaginable*If anyone could it would be you*in your ear*

CIMORENE: (*warm fuzzy feeling*)

CIMORENE: *hurriedly says her plan to Pallando as the men clamber aboard the eagle*

NARRATOR: (to ride west?)

CIMORENE: (out of the city, yes)

NARRATOR: *he agrees and is off*

CIMORENE: *kicks Bard into a gallop westward, still writhing in purple flames, and yells so that all orcs can hear her*  Get out of my way, you worthless shadowspawn!!!!

NARRATOR: *you ride out of the city without further incident*

CIMORENE: *follows the birdy*

NARRATOR: (hehe)

NARRATOR: *you ride till the sun comes up*

NARRATOR: *pallando lands with the injured men*

CIMORENE: *stops near them, looking up at the eagle*  My lord eagle.... are you all right?

NARRATOR: *the eagle nods affirmatively *

CIMORENE: *hugs Bard tightly*  You were so brave!

NARRATOR: *bard says to you modestly*  I take after my mistress after all these years

CIMORENE: *she grins at him and turns to look at Melendar*  And you were marvelous!  And very foolish, taking on that orc when he was trying to unhorse me!

NARRATOR: *melendar stops to look at the sunrise and says some solemn words to himself*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*suddenly out of his memory laughing lightly* All I did was protect you from him.

CIMORENE: *hugs him tightly*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*laughing louder*Or protect him  from you

NARRATOR: *he embraces you back*

CIMORENE: *squeezes as she looks at the men*  Can any of you understand me?

NARRATOR: (what are you speaking?)

CIMORENE: (Westron )

NARRATOR: *2 give blank stares and 1 nods to you*

NARRATOR: man:I understand you

CIMORENE: *looks to the man who spoke*  you all need to get out of here.... there are probably more orcs than ever around here.

NARRATOR: man:*grimly*Why thank you for the information.  Trust me I will be on my way as soon as the old man *points to pallando* helps me on my feet again.  Don't worry, i'll tell the others to leave as well..

CIMORENE: *she nods just as grimly at him*

NARRATOR: *melendar just sighs as if he were an insect of some sort*

CIMORENE: (She's still hugging him!)

NARRATOR: (he's still hugging her)

CIMORENE: *she kisses his nose playfully*  Jealous, my love?  (in high elven)

NARRATOR: Melendar:*playfully back and hin high elvish*Oh him?  *smiles*No I am more jealous of the sun that has seen you more times then I

NARRATOR: *pallando is still healing*

CIMORENE: *her smile fades a little*  Melendar.... we can't stop anymore, can we.  *she speaks in more fact than question*  I can't bear to lose you... without you, there'd be no more reason to live

NARRATOR: *the sun rises past the horizon now*

CIMORENE: (*smiles a little, gently*  The sun is rising....)

NARRATOR: Melendar:*sweetly serious* If I can help it you never will have to lose me and I will never have to be lost again. Stop anymore?  What do you mean?

CIMORENE: *she glances at the men*  We cannot save everyone..... we'll just kill ourselves in the process

NARRATOR: Melendar:Cimorene *grows serious* You are a wizard are you not?  Is this not your duty?

CIMORENE: (*looks up the code*)

NARRATOR: Melendar:And besides... *lump in throat* I owe a debt to the race of men

NARRATOR: Melendar:I don't know if this is the time for that discussion, however...

CIMORENE: (hmmmm)

CIMORENE: *she nods*  We have to keep going

NARRATOR: *pallando lets the men be on their ways; non go back the way they came.  the two that could not understand you bow and go off.  the other just walks*

CIMORENE: Bard, can you go on a while longer?

NARRATOR: bard: I can but I would fancy a good rest soon

CIMORENE: *she nods*  I agree..... Pallando, do you know how close we are to the sea?

NARRATOR: Pallando:*sighs* I cannot tell.  I know that we are still going in the right direction.  I hope that the countryside is not the same as this city

NARRATOR: Melendar:*almost pledging*By the valar, we shall make it

CIMORENE: *she nods*  Let's keep going, for another two hours and find somewhere reasonably safe to rest

NARRATOR: (ride on then?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: *bard stamina*

CIMORENE: (looking for a wayward pine or cave or something)

CIMORENE: (14)

NARRATOR: *bard goes on until you find off of what is left of a pathway, a wayward 5 pines.  in the middle of this circle is a cave that goes into the hill the pines are on*

CIMORENE: (lol.... wayward 5 pines?)

NARRATOR: Melendar:*surpised*strangely fortunate

NARRATOR: (i guess i cannot speak english after all)

CIMORENE: (ol)

CIMORENE: *she smiles a little*  It;s about time we had some luck

CIMORENE: *heads for the centermost pine and gets off Bard, stretching her aching legs*

NARRATOR: *the eagle lands and walks over to the trees*

NARRATOR:  *Pallando comes over*

NARRATOR: Melendar:*after taking a look at you*We could all use a good rest

CIMORENE: *she smiles*  No kidding

NARRATOR: Pallando:*sighs wearily*It is about time that fortune came on our paths

CIMORENE: *she leads Bard under the thick branches of the pine, seeing just how large the area underneath is*

NARRATOR: (going in the cave?)

CIMORENE: (cave, yes)

CIMORENE: *feels all the walls to make sure they are all solid and not actually doors*

NARRATOR: *it is about 6 feet tall and 10 ft by 10ft*

CIMORENE: (no Goblin Town for us)

NARRATOR: *there is 1 circular door in the cave*

NARRATOR: (lol, goblin town)

CIMORENE: *blinks at the door, inspecting it*

NARRATOR: *old crafting but well made to hold up over time.  there is a warmly colored but dulled flower on the door*

NARRATOR: *and hinges of course*

NARRATOR: *a knob as well*

CIMORENE: *she glances behind her at her friends and shrugs, miming knocking*

NARRATOR: (nob?  still cannot talk...)

CIMORENE: (knob)

NARRATOR: *melendar comes to your side without a sound and has a hand near the hilt of his sword*

NARRATOR: *pallando doesn't come closer and just watches*

CIMORENE: *knocks firmly with her knuckles*

NARRATOR: *nothing*

CIMORENE: *knocks a little louder*

NARRATOR: *stirring and moaning*

NARRATOR: *the knob turns and the door opens*

CIMORENE: *hand on her staff, holding it out in front of her*

CIMORENE: (you end here and I kill you)

CIMORENE: (and leave your ass here while I go to Wizard world)

NARRATOR: *back in the clear hobbit-hole is a old but curious hobbit*

NARRATOR: (no intention of stopping yet)

NARRATOR: hobbit:ello there*with a smile*

CIMORENE: (*falls over*)

NARRATOR: hobbit:What can I do all you fine elves for?

CIMORENE: *she relaxes visibly and smiles broadly*  Good.... day, sir.

NARRATOR: hobbit:*looks at you two more closely*You two are white as ghosts.  Come in *motions* and we can get you cosey

NARRATOR: *melendar is taken aback*

CIMORENE: We have another friend, as well as a horse and an eagle....

NARRATOR: *melendar just looks to you*

CIMORENE: (is there a sense motive skill?)

NARRATOR: Hobbit:*funny thinking face* well that is a pickle, i must say.  I am afraid they cannot come inside but your friend is welcome.  *brain storm*the animals can come into my doorstep that you're in!

NARRATOR: (wisdom roll)

CIMORENE: (11)

NARRATOR: *strange as it may seem; it's no lie*

CIMORENE: *glances at Melendar and shrugs*

NARRATOR: *melendar shrugs back and tells pallando to get over with him and to bring the animals in the cave*

NARRATOR: Melendar:Shall we rest?*with a relaxed smile*

CIMORENE: *she smiles broadly at him*  Yes, please

CIMORENE: *gestures Bard into the cave as she smooths her hair, clothes, and takes Melendars arm demurely*

NARRATOR: *melendar doesn't miss a beat and takes your arm and is moving as regal as a noldor is thought to all the time*

CIMORENE: (lol)

CIMORENE: *enters the small door and looks around, especially at the little hobbit*  What is a Hobbit doing all the way out here?

NARRATOR: hobbit:*laughs at the over played spectacle*a hobbit you say?  oh yes!  that's me.  *he throws his hand your way*  Bugee proudfoot

CIMORENE: *takes his hand gently, smiling*  Cimorene of the West.  Pleased to meet you

NARRATOR: Melendar:*shakes bugee's hand next*Melendar of the noldor.  Thank you for the hospitality... Bugee

NARRATOR: Bugee:*to melendar* nonsense!

NARRATOR: *pallando introduces*

NARRATOR: *bugee greats*

CIMORENE: *she looks around the small Hobbit hole with great interest*

NARRATOR: *there is a great kitchen with breads and cheese and many paths that lead a bit deeper*

NARRATOR: *you realize this is much larger than you thought*

CIMORENE: *takes in the smell of bread and cheese with a small moan and a loud grumble from her stomach*

CIMORENE: (sense power)

NARRATOR: *the architecture is really similar to bag-end (to make it easy on me) *

CIMORENE: (passed with a 16)

NARRATOR: *this hobbit and this place are magical.  very*

CIMORENE: (and it's a 20 to the observe)

NARRATOR: *you see a mantle with crossed blades and a shield with the white tree on it*

NARRATOR: *you see maps of middle earth and the east*

CIMORENE: *stares at the shield*

NARRATOR: *books everywhere*

NARRATOR: *it looks to be a small shield of gondor*

NARRATOR: *bugee talks to palando and melendar*

CIMORENE: *she studies the map of their current area, trying to get a bead on where they were*

NARRATOR: *it looks like you are part of a pinky from the Rhun sea*

CIMORENE: (Did I sense any power?)

NARRATOR: (on the map?)

NARRATOR: (the whole place has power)

NARRATOR: (bugee especially)

NARRATOR: (not like oromic power but still, impressive)

CIMORENE: (magical type power?)

NARRATOR: (yup and a good will)

CIMORENE: (hmmmmmm)

CIMORENE: *looks for a staff idly*

NARRATOR: *you see a few that are hobbit sized*

NARRATOR: *leaning against the wall near the door*

CIMORENE: (any power from them?)

NARRATOR: (some but not like yours)

CIMORENE: (from how many?)

NARRATOR: *all 3*

CIMORENE: (cool)

NARRATOR: *1 is white, one is brown wood and one is a polished stone*

CIMORENE: *she smiles at Bugee*  You have a lovely home.... and i especially admire your shield

NARRATOR: Bugee:*turns to you now*Why thank you miss Cimorene.  *looks at the shield*  Ah yes that shield has the white tree of Gondor on it.  I aquired it on my last trip there

CIMORENE: *blinks quite a few times, then smiles*  I have good friends in Gondor... it's a lovely city

NARRATOR: Bugee:Minas Tirith is truly one of the most beautiful places to be.  However I believe that the shire is a tie*laughs some*

NARRATOR: Melendar:So who do you know in Gondor?

CIMORENE: *she smiles wistfully*  I have never seen the shire....

NARRATOR: Bugee:*to melendar*I have met the King Eldarian and his court.  I became good friends with a guardsman of his named Ipal....  *to you now*The shire is a place I have to tell you, you should see in your lifetime*he seems very serious now*

CIMORENE: (I hate thee)

NARRATOR: (mwahahahaha!)

CIMORENE: *she figets just a little bit*  How did you end up so well connected and well travelled?

NARRATOR: Bugee:Well *modest*I hate to brag but I am a descendent of the great Peregrin Took and we are... liked in Gondor a great deal

NARRATOR: (change his last name from proudfoot to took now...)

CIMORENE: *takes his hand and grips it tightly, inclining her head*  Then it truly is an honor to meet you

NARRATOR: Pallando:*to you both*What?

NARRATOR: *melendar goes over to the wizard and whispers tales of the third age to to pallando*

NARRATOR: *pallando shuts up*

CIMORENE: *she giggles a little*  Can we rest a little, Bugee?

NARRATOR: Bugee:*to you, embarassed*There is no need for such spectacle.

NARRATOR: Bugee:You may indeed I have a few guest rooms that would be more suited for yourselves*winks*

NARRATOR: *he leads you all to 3 rooms that have appropiately sized beds*

CIMORENE: *she looks about ready to kiss him*

NARRATOR: *he is just a little ball of goodness watching the weary take comfort*

CIMORENE: *she smiles at the men*  I believe I will talk to Bugee a little more.... come get me when you wake up, gentlemen

NARRATOR: *pallando nods and goes right to sleep*

NARRATOR: *melendar sort of looks at you wondering why you weren't coming and goes into a room acceptingly*

CIMORENE: *she kisses Melendar gently and whispers*  Taking watch

NARRATOR: Melendar:*kisses you back and smiles now*I could not think of a better watchkeep*he looks deep into your eyes and goes off*

NARRATOR: (lol!)

NARRATOR: (wait...)

CIMORENE: *stares after him wistfully for only a moment, then turns to the little Hobbit*

CIMORENE: (?)

NARRATOR: (i cannot read.  that went right... sheesh)

NARRATOR: (*runs for caffinee*)

NARRATOR: (back)

CIMORENE: (welcome back)

NARRATOR: (hehe, thank ye)

CIMORENE: Would it be rude of me to ask for some tea, Bugee?

NARRATOR: Bugee:I thought you would never ask*goes off to the kitchen at once*

NARRATOR: *he comes back with fresh tea and lembas bread*

CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times*  You've adapted remarkably well to being so far from the Shire and Gondor.

NARRATOR: Bugee:*looks at the bread*I aquired that from the elves of mirkwood, I did.  What better time to have it eaten?  *laughs happily*

CIMORENE: *she nods in agreement and looks for a seat*

NARRATOR: Bugee:Why thank you Miss Cimorene.  Truth be told, I was on my way back home when I became too weary to go down the road.  But as chance would have it, I found just the spot to be comfortable in... *points all around*

NARRATOR: *there is a stool that seems adequate for your size by a wall*

CIMORENE: *sits on the stool and takes a sip of her tea, moaning with delight*  I haven't had tea in so long....

NARRATOR: Bugee:*smiling brightly*Take some rest, Miss.  You and your company seem to have taken the worse-for-wear and I bet you have earned some rest

CIMORENE: *she nods*  After everything we've been through, the men need it more than I do...

NARRATOR: Bugee:Care to tell me the tale? *he seems anxious*

CIMORENE: *she explains that they were at the battle of Galtaire, leaving out how important they were, and also of thier jaunt through the Dark Elf caves, leaving out the  Helerog*

NARRATOR: Bugee:My you three have seen better days then. *he shakes his head* Then I think you should stay until you feel truly ready to carry-on.  *sudden thought*Would you find it acceptable if I put that story into song?

CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times*  Not at all

CIMORENE: *she smiles a little*  How long have you been affiliated with Gondor?

NARRATOR: Bugee:*pleased with permission*As long as I can remember I have been "affiliated" with Gondor.  Due to my ancestry.  The folks and I would make a trip there every few years.  *more personally* It never did sit right with the others back in the shire, with us all going out.  *laughs at the memories*

CIMORENE: Have you heard stories of Belegar the Elf recently?

NARRATOR: Bugee:I have heard of his heroism in the war of the ring.  A traveler told me of an elf by his description having set a war on the heathens in the black land back in middle earth and winning.

NARRATOR: Bugee:*shrugs*But nothing too concrete about that

CIMORENE: *she gasps*  Belegar's taking on Mondor?  That idiot!!

NARRATOR: Bugee:*laughs*even if the story is true, it ends with his victory*he winks*

CIMORENE: *she relaxes a little*  He always could take care of himself...

NARRATOR: Bugee:It would appear that you travel in company that can do that

CIMORENE: Bugee.... we're trying to get to Minis Tirith as fast as we can... do you have any aid you can give?

NARRATOR: Bugee:*looks near his door sourly and without looking to you*Is it urgent?

CIMORENE: *she stares at him*  Why do you need to ask?

NARRATOR: Bugee:*looks back to you now*You are uncertain of the way, yes?

CIMORENE: Yes.

CIMORENE: *glances at the door a moment, then grins a little at him* Did that door upset you?

NARRATOR: Bugee:*sighs and seems tired*I could use my staff of the white mountains to guide you all back to Minas Tirith

NARRATOR: Bugee:*trying to sound happy*It would be a sure thing

CIMORENE: *she sets her teacup on her knee, looking at him*  How about you just let me copy a map, so that you don't have to come with us?

NARRATOR: Bugee:Oh... well I suppose that would work as well

CIMORENE: *she smiles*  We wouldn't want to trouble you more than we have to.  You've already done so much by letting us rest here

NARRATOR: Bugee:*swiftly changing the subject*You know your elf friend carries much burden...  why is he so sad?

CIMORENE: *she looks down at her hands*  He wants to go home... and he's been through so much

NARRATOR: Bugee:Oh I am sorry I brought it up, Miss.

NARRATOR: *he's really sorry*

NARRATOR: Bugee:Now lets not fret anymore, either of us.  You are here to rest and I suggest that you start now.

NARRATOR: *he's smiling again*

CIMORENE: *she smiles*  Please.... it's just Cimorene.

NARRATOR: Bugee:Very well then Cimorene.  Why don't you go to some sleep?  You look very tired to me for an elf.

CIMORENE: *she leans back against the wall, looking at the ceiling.  The warm tea is making her drowsy*  This is such a nice home.....

NARRATOR: Bugee:I have not heard so many compliments for a long time, I must say.  You really are too kind.  I just have done my best to honor my kin out here

CIMORENE: *she smiles a little slyly*  You've gathered quite a few things of magical power here.... are you skilled in the mystic arts at all?

NARRATOR: Bugee:I have picked up a few tricks.  As you've said I know the right people.

NARRATOR: Bugee:For instance I can tell that you ask that because I sense great mystic power in yourself.

CIMORENE: *she blushes*

NARRATOR: Bugee:I have with me heirlooms and tokens from friends.  A few things here have I made by my own hands, yes.  I do know a few tricks, but I think little of it really

CIMORENE: Forgive me for deceiving you, Bugee...

NARRATOR: *he seems somewhat prepared to hear that*

CIMORENE: I'm a wizard of some small ability

NARRATOR: Bugee:So it is true then, you are Cimorene the Violet

CIMORENE: *she looks at him now*  You already suspected

NARRATOR: Bugee:*sheepish grin*I spent some time in the Gondorian archives and I know some about you and your brother

NARRATOR: Bugee:But I know nothing about either of your companions and if they came from westward, that is quite a feat if they are as you said in your story *impressed*

CIMORENE: I have spoken no lies, Bugee.  They are both unique in their abilities and importance to me

NARRATOR: Bugee:*wide-eyed*I had no idea it was like that

CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times*  Huh?

NARRATOR: Bugee:*to himself*It seems most unnatural for an elf to be with more than one other and even the rarer that one is not elvish at all...

CIMORENE: ACK!  *she laughs*  No no no!  Melendar and I are together, but Pallando and i are just friends!  *she giggles, blujshing brighter than an apple*

NARRATOR: *bugee laughs so loud it threatens to disturb the peace of the resting*

NARRATOR: Bugee:My apologies then, Cimorene

NARRATOR: Bugee:Was there anything else you wished to talk about?

CIMORENE: *she smiles*  When was the last time you went to to Minis Tirith?

NARRATOR: Bugee:If I can tell time correctly these days; I would say some 5 or 6 years ago

CIMORENE: Really?  You must have just returned.

NARRATOR: Bugee:No, not really.  *eyes down*I had a pony once, a wonderful animal he was... but he passed on and I could no longer journey after that and it was fortunate that I found this refuge of a place after that.  I have lived here since

CIMORENE: (wow.... it says years, not days)

NARRATOR: (ya)

CIMORENE: *she nods*  I understand.  I almost lost my dear Bard, and that was devastating

NARRATOR: Bugee:He is a fine horse, I must say.  Elvish by the looks of him and in your company that does not seem so exceptional.  But it is still.  You can trust I will tend to him and the eagle with the utmost care

NARRATOR: Bugee:But I am happy that my old pony died by my side after all we had seen together and been threw

NARRATOR: *bugee sighs*

CIMORENE: *she nods at him, leaning her head against the wall again*  Please excuse me for a moment.... I wish to check on Melendar and Palando

NARRATOR: Bugee:Think nothing of it

CIMORENE: *she gets up and walks slowly back to the bedrooms, cracking Melendar's door open, peeking in on him*

NARRATOR: *he is sleeping on the bed instead of mediatating and he has his patch off and is all comfy but not quite cozey*

CIMORENE: *she closes the door softly and looks in on Pallando*

NARRATOR: *pallando is sleeping under many layers of blankets and is snoring loud and free(you couldn't hear it till you opened the door*

CIMORENE: *she giggles softly and closes the door as she heads back to the sitting room*

NARRATOR: *bugee greats you as you come back*

CIMORENE: *she smiles*  Those two could sleep through the next War of the Ring

NARRATOR: Bugee:*he laughs a little*That is really saying something.  I think I shall just take your word for it than witness

CIMORENE: *she sits back in her little chair and smiles at him*  I feel I must warn you that there are orcs wandering everywhere

NARRATOR: Bugee:There always have been, but Igiwi and his striders have always kept the peace in the land quite peaceful*smiles*

CIMORENE: But Igiwi is feared dead!

NARRATOR: Bugee:*taken aback*No...

CIMORENE: He was missing after Galtaire fell

NARRATOR: Bugee:*shakes off fear*No, he cannot be.  He will return and so shall the peace of this land

CIMORENE: I hope so..... Igiwi is a dear friend.

NARRATOR: Bugee:*looks at you like it's the first time*You knew Igiwi too?  Cimorene you have truly been on an adventure

CIMORENE: And Mundin as well, before he fell.

NARRATOR: Bugee:The Elder Mundin Flet.... That was a good man*solemn*It is a true shame.  Galtaire will center itself again, you'll see.

NARRATOR: Bugee:*winks*Gondor did and*snorts*That certainly looked bad did it not?

CIMORENE: *she giggles*  Indeed

NARRATOR: Bugee:So Cimorene what will you do now?

CIMORENE: Go back to Gondor and meet some of my friends... then Melendar and I deserve some peace after a life of strife and pain.  We will retire to the kindly West, together, and live for our love and our love alone.

NARRATOR: Bugee:That is some end to the tale*wide eyed*.  I heard that the baggins' and Samwise the brave went there as well.

CIMORENE: Yes, as far as the tales go

NARRATOR: END
