Behind The Finish Line
There was a time in NASCAR where peace was known. Then came along a family and their own feuds, and what happened is now known to everyone. Welcome to The Story Behind the Finish Line, presented to you by the NASCAR Palace.
In this family, there was peace before when their king was there with them. However, on February 18, 2001, they lost their king. Now with their king gone, hell broke loose. The Prince went after the Queen for the throne, in which he believes is rightfully his. As we look back into the past, we do remember the King said at Rockingham in 2000,
“In the grand scheme of things, I'd like Dale Jr. to take over DEI. I'd like my other kids to be involved, but I'd like to see Dale Jr. run the team."Of course this family couldn’t left alone as everybody else had to throw in their opinion, all the way from a naughty neighbor, to a bitchy neighbour. So here we are to tell the tale of how a prince left his kingdom to join a kingdom of all-stars.
