| WRITINGS So this is my writings section. I'm a rather prolific writer, unpublished as of yet. I'm not too concerned about it, though... it'll happen sooner or later, when I try. But everything you see below is pretty lengthy and involved, and I'd recommend not getting involved unless you want to read it to the end. If you just want a quick sampling of my work, check out some of my poems, and maybe a story or two in the War Stories section (as they're pretty independent of each other). But if you're like me and like massive, involved sagas... then definitely check the Emeriqua and Dark Future series. By the way, I'll mention that, while the series are independent of each other, they DO build upon one another and you can enhance your understanding of each series by reading them all. THE DARK FUTURE SERIES: When the aliens invade, do we stand together in our finest hour? Do we split apart and fight? And who, exactly, are "we," anyway? The end has been written; but what are the details? THE EMERIQUA SERIES: Two millennia after total nuclear war, the divided states of Emeriqua fight a war of existentialism. A fallen shattered time not quite unlike our own yearns for heroes. THE WAR STORIES SERIES: Letters from the front lines of a war that rages across time and space. A world of shadows, where gold shines brighter than the morning star and a burned-out spirit yearns for paradise lost. POETRY AND PROSE: Everything else. Political poetry, stuff I wrote for various forums, and probably more than a few papers from college will wind up here. |
