| After every battle and every war, there are veterans. People who survived, and in some cases people who thrived. They've experienced something that nobody else has had to deal with-war. War is something that cannot be explained unless one has experienced it firsthand. This is why, although they may retell it, the veterans come most alive when they're with their old comrades-in-arms, men who were there and went through it. In this same spirit, I present you all with the War Stories series. It is a collection of largely unrelated stories of the Christian faith, which is a war in and of itself-war unexplainable to the uninitiated. It will all connect, though, one day when it's finished.
