The Priestcult concept bought with it a sense of community. On drunken evenings out we huddled in groups to hide from the cold and chanted like inert machines. These ridiculous chants gradually changed into full-blown song in the community spirit of the Priestcult Ideal.
Originally the Priestcult group was divided into Spitroast- a band forgotten in the depths of the web who used actual instruments and professionalism, and Priestcult- a concept band made in the strings of qbase and ejay. Though no less strong in ability and style Priestcult went on to create three albums leaving spitroast with none to their name.
The priestcult band concept is an ever growing one. The most recent songs created in Summer 2003 proved that the band had not died but continued to struggle on simply as a concept, rising its head whenever we got together to bother with it.
