The Pride of
Polynesia Dance Revue is a San Diego based group founded in 1992 by the
Leiataua family. The dance company specializes in the songs and
dances of four of the major Polynesian Islands, French Polynesia
(Tahiti), Hawaii, Samoa and Aotearoa (New Zealand). The group
prides it self on the authenticity of its entertainment, costuming and
passion of its entertainers.
The Pride of Polynesia offers Polynesia offers floor
shows, live background music, lei making demonstrations, hula lessons,
tiki carving, coconut opening, and fire knife performance. |
