Te Pride Scholarship Endowment

The Pride Scholarship Fund has been established by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Faculty Staff, Network and friends thereof in June of 2004.  The purpose of the fund is to provide tuition support to one or more students. Preference is that the scholarship be awarded whenever possible to a student who can demonstrate that she or he identifies with the goals of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Faculty Staff Network.  Experience in advancement of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) issues and self-identification as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer is preferred. 

Our scholarship winners to date: 2005- Anita Halasz, 2006- Scott Kramer and 2007 Donna Riley.

Donations

Currently we have $30,000 in the endwoment. This allows us to generate approximately $1,000 a year scholarhip. Our goal is $1,000,000.00 by 2010.
